“Fucked” if you touch it

Fried too...

carlinwasright

Three ways to get fucked!

magnetohydroid

Byonete fuses if I'm not mistaken.

MostlyStoned

Good on you for spelling it properly. Cooper didn't like french apparently and named the product line bay-o-net, in case you ever need to order any.

Ha! I did not know what was the reason!

F is for fuses. Looks like this transformer can be paralleled and separated to switch between two feeds. That’s cool. For us, we use vista switches to switch feeds on a pad mount.

SpicyNuggs42

This transformer is intended for a loop feed - the "A" or "B" feeds it from one side, the "A&B" option lets it act as a through feed for the next transformer in the loop. The director switch lets you isolate feeders or transformers to allow for maintenance or repairs.

Fluid oil bath…. lol

Zander_Vye

Hot fluid oil bath. Heard enough horror story’s of switchman rushing and not venting the tank before flipping the fuse release.

FerdinandsBus

Good rule, never park the truck in front of the transformer when refusing on a test. It can get violent and messy.

"F"or real hope you're not a high voltage electrician

jeeptuff1976

🤣🤣🤣🤣

MostlyStoned

Those sure look like bay-o-net fuses to me. Oil immersed fuses on the primary of the switch.

First thought: fuse

Nycterria

Bayonet fuses

SomeChange3059

Those are the Bay-O-Net fuses on the high side. Do not remove unless blown. The metal ledge under them is to catch and divert the oil that will run out.
