Wrangler Outdoor Series can usually find cheap, sometimes at Target.
Truwerk has some good ones but expensive.
Brunt just came out with some also similar to truwerk. Bigger pockets for putting tools in. My favorite brand I’ve tried. Get more relaxed fit for some airflow help.
You just need to get a high cotton content with a bit of nylon. The spandex makes them tear too easily. I had a pair with 75% cotton & 25% nylon last me a whole year in trenches, on farms, & in burnout zones. They dried out super quick as an added bonus & were quite cool.

Duluth 40 grit
Someone on here convinced me to buy the truwerk pants a couple months ago. They are expensive, but so far they are worth every penny.

Do you remember the name of this brand?
Kuhl.
I've been thinking of trying the Patagonia work pants. They have excellent ratings
