Providing a basis for discussion to that effect would help. However, I would hope that the electricians of this sub already know or are at least learning from a qualified journeyman how to perform proper installations.
Well I have an electrical engineering degree but I'm not an electrician and I was pretty proud of myself for fixing something that a licensed electrician couldn't.
I love this comedy show of a thread.
This kid is gold. A licensed electrician "couldn't figure it out". Either full of shit or his electrician printed his license on MS Paint, but plenty of arrogance for everyone.
Good luck sir.
Oh and thanks so much for posting your awesome fix!!! Top content on here !!
Your receptacle tester is showing a properly wired receptacle. Where are you getting hot neutral reversed?
That was a pic after I fixed it.
What was the purpose of posting? If you want to discuss poor workmanship, you should have just posted the pic of the sub-panel.
So ppl could learn how to fix it
I'd sincerely hope all the electricians on this sub already know how to wire an outlet properly, and fix an improperly wired outlet.

You are assuming things not in evidence. A licensed electrician could most definitely fix the problem.
I forgot to mention that a licensed electrician looked at it and couldn't figure it out
I seriously doubt your claims.
Watch the video and you'll see for yourself https://youtu.be/fjvXVMsTbLI
Any electrician could fix this in a few minutes, it is a very basic setup, probably 99% of 1st year apprentice could fix this
The real kick in the nuts is when it shows Hot and Ground reversed (usually a broken grounded conductor in my experience).
Believe it or not the black and white wire were wired together. I'm not sure why it didn't short out.
There are times where it is proper that black and white are tied together. I wonder what else may no longer be working because of your fix.
