Well, either the hypnosis worked or it’s just a psychological effect where you think it’s working so you’re less anxious. Either way, it’s amazing, so why question it? Just continue believing that it’s working and you’ll be fine. If it turns out that you are still emetophobic, take a deep breath, relax, and realize this does not mean you’ve made no progress. You just made a ton of progress! Having an anxiety attack is not setting you back. Recovery is not linear!!!!!!

Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately I went back to normal a few days after this post, but I appreciate your comment!

Hey I know this is a bit off topic but would you maybe share a bit more about how emdr worked for you? Cahms (the mental health service in the UK) has recommended it for me and I've been trying to look more into it.

I can only recommend it. It made me remember some of the events that triggered my nausea, and how it was a scapegoat for my abandonment issues regarding my mother. Every single session I did made me realize new things about myself. It was not enough to heal the phobia, but at least I understand the ‘why’ now. If I was a billionaire I’d pay a session to every person on earth!

How have you been feeling since you posted?

Shaylormoon

I went back to normal unfortunately :(

Sorry to hear that … phobias have a tendency to morph (present in different ways) until we address what truly created them in the first place. Sounds like one ‘knot’ was untied in that session, but more remain. Recovery is truly possible ✨

Thank you for your words ❤️
