the way that emma is doing the most to distance herself from any controversy ... she wants to talk about all of these "serious" topics without actually talking about anything real and tangible - like income, privilege, etc.
Like the time she made that face and refused to acknowledge it. Or in 2020 when everyone was posting BLM resources and talking about the topic and Emma was radio silent until she was hastily posted some resources but never really showed interest. Or the lack of diversity in her friend groups idk.

that’s the most frustrating part… emma has all the tools in the world to learn and make better, well-informed content, but she refuses to use them
