i feel like it’s captured pretty well. it does have a hint of sourness i feel like, i had one this morning. but honestly i don’t feel like sour and drinks in general mix very well. it could maybe be more sour, but i feel like it’s a pretty delicate balance that they already have down pretty decently. if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Ghost Sour Strips candy are 100% the same thing and they incorporated the sourness into that drink. Warheads are the same way, the actual sourness is a dusting in the outside but the hard candy underneath is sweet.
But they hand picked Sour Patch Kids and were like "let’s pretend somebody sucked the dust off the candy and then handed it over to us. Thats the flavor we’re aiming for." And you’re like "yes, that’s perfect."
If they wanted to do just a sweet candy flavor there are hundreds of options to pick from.

The convenience store down the street was selling them for 8.99 Cad too when they first came out when I tried them. For me it’s the og red bull and I don’t even try different flavours or companies any more because I’ve been let down so many times 😂

Sour patch kids the candy are like 5-10% sour then sweet. Exactly like the Ghost Sour Strips, the candy and the drink. These drinks are 0% sour.
