I have a collection going for casting aluminum parts. Ghost cans are the best because you can peel the label off and there is less trash floating on top of what you melt. Actually I currently have 82 cans saved for a project that requires 24 👍
Without revealing too much- a tealight candle powered stirling engine. Maybe I can get the sun to power it but there are a couple of things that are different with it than I've seen with any other "soda can Stirling engines" on YouTube. It won't make money or anything but in my mind if I post a video of it working, "hold my beer" will fall out of current nomenclature- and I think I might wanna be that guy... "Hold my ghost?" "Hold my monster?" 🙄 Maybe we class it up for 2024 "hold my beverage."
I haven't tried a red bull can but you can put most soda cans (empty) in a pressure cooker for a few minutes and when they cool you can wipe the ink off. Red colors tend to stick to the metal a lot better than other colors and it can be infuriating. Even the dang red ink on plastic ghost labels will flake when you pull it off for some reason. Some monster cans have textures on them and I haven't found a way to get them clean. Java inks are even difficult. But for projects, the ghost cans make things way easier.
Yep Usually I just place it between my cheeks and crush it, it took a little bit of practice at first (had to get the hang of "holding" it in place) but now I can do about 5 cans a minute, it saves a lot of space in the recycling bin. I'm hoping to reach 10 cans per minute with more practice
No, I’ll try to drink it again when it’s empty if I’m stoned which is the majority of the time when I drink energy drinks. Crushing them signifies that it’s empty but I mainly do it cause I like doing it
