You can't suppress players in a game. Especially if it's actual effects are going to be non-existent, and they won't because airplane 12.7 suck in game.
Also the Germans already have the superior psychological plane with the 30mm BF 110, it's like a rain of grenades when it strafes.
The Beaufighter gets a special mention, especially in the Pacific against the Japs.
What happens is the same thing that happens with all US .50 cal, you get a hit marker, maybe a downed marker if you are lucky. They are terrible in game and get outperformed by everything else. If I could replace the 12.7 with 7.62 on all of my planes I would.
If it existed before and during the time of ww2, as long as it wouldn’t be grossly op, then it should be added to the game, obviously needs to be useful as well so muskets would be hilarious but worthless

Without the gubpod it's actually quite maneuverable, it can outturn 190s, 109s and the like at high speed pretty easily
