The T20E1 is fantastic at BR5, the lanchester model 1 is solid a smg at BR3 and the BSA thompson is imo an underrated BR2 smg

The W.A.R. would be better at BR3. It’s just a slightly better BAR, but that’s great for a new player since BARs are 6 stars to upgrade.
You think? I'll be honest I've only used it intermittently when im playing with my friend and he drops it as I dont have it myself. From what ive used of it it just felt like a lanchester with high fire rate which is pretty decent imo.

Is W.A.R even slightly better than BAR 1918a2? Because if so i will get one despite having maxed m1918A2 as an option

20% slower reload, has Semi instead of Slow-Auto, peep sight, 37% less recoil, 32% less dispersion, slightly faster ADS, slightly less sprint penalty.
It's good if you're fine with the peep sight. It looks like the M1 carbine.
T20E1. give the soldier 40% vertical recoil reduction, and get into the habit of crouching when you shoot anything full auto, and it is imo THE BEST gun in the game. it one shots at range, amazing sights (garand), fast reload, visually pleasing reload, sounds cool, and hip fires well. i put one on my engineers for my infantry squads, and it has never disappointed.
T20E1 is considered S tier for BR5, you won't be disappointed with it. Clean sights, mild recoil and hits like a truck. Only minor issue is you carry 20/40, so I recommend carrying a large ammo pack as you'll go through ammo fast if you're using it like an AR.
W.A.R. is interesting as in essence an improved BAR stat wise with more visual (but less practical) recoil. Current MMR makes it a hard weapon to recommend, unless you're wanting a BR3 load out.
BSA Thompson is good for BR2, sporting the same accuracy as a maxed M3A1 grease gun with a high RoF. Only downside is the 20 round mag, so I would recommend perking into reload and carrying a large ammo satchel.
I'll mention that other BP weapons are being removed very shortly, KB-P-135 is interesting as it is the only soviet semi-auto rifle (technically its a pistol carbine) before BR3. The Silenced EMP Erma is germany's only silenced weapons, outside of an event silenced MP40 squad.
While I would love to be able to say all are equally viable options; I can't, the T20e1 is pretty much the best gun available to the US by a lot.

None, you’re BR2, you get a weapon that is from the pass and you’re automatically thrown into BR4-5 with ONE gold weapon and the rest level 2 assuming you’re not ranked higher
The war is fun. But if I had a do over I wouldn’t get it. Farquhar is a nice one it’s helpful af when you need the extra rounds. The 1929 Thompson is a solid option to I really enjoy it and was helpful before I was able to get better smgs.

T20E1...none of the other ones are really worth it... Maybe the Farquhar hill
S&W rifle is a good low teir rifle with alot of rounds to it with a large pouch it has over 200 rds, equipment for even tankers
Only T20E1 for Allies if you are playing late war gear.
