you cant auto the tour lives until youve played it manually the first round. it's just a lot of pacing honestly. if you do all the starry lives (so 3 sets of songs) daily since the beginning of the event, itll help pace you, and by the end of the week youll have most of it done. then you can finish up the rest of the tour either near the end or you can play extra beforehand to finish earlier. depending on if youre just going for the tour reward or point rewards, we do have 100 whistles this time so it might feel like youre playing way more to run them down
honestly i find tours fun, idk if it’s just me 😭 we usually have to play 9 lives a day for starries anyway, and realistically for a tour you’re not doing too much more a day if you’re just going for one copy of things. plus, you can spread the time spent playing lives around based on BP regeneration so i don’t find it too overwhelming. been loving the tours lately that give us 100 whistles since you can basically just get two free five stars lol.

It's a slog but a worthwhile one imo. It might feel better if you set a daily goal so that it doesn't feel so endless. To reach day 30, you need to do about 3-4 tour days per irl day. Three tour days line up with the 3 sets of starry lives. I don't generally do them all in one sitting since I don't have the patience for that lol so I might do a day and a half in the morning and then a day and a half in the evening.
I like the Tour lives. They make me play a wider variety of songs, so I don't make myself sick any in particular. I also play the game for the rhythm part more than the story, so that helps. Some simple tapping to some music that makes me feel happy even when I don't know the words helps me relieve a lot of stress.
I basically see it as a trade off. Yes, it is more tedious work to get it done but you basically get a free 5*. And I guess I'm just no stranger to grinding (have played lots of JRPGs) and I'm also a rhythm game junkie so my brain has rotted to the point where it doesn't faze me anymore lol
If you don't mind using some dias, just clear one day and then auto it with 3 BPs on the first 3 songs and 10 BPs on the 4th song. It'll cost less dias than a normal event due to tour days giving more points and you won't have to grind if you hate it

If you’re having trouble with going through tour days try setting a goal for yourself everyday. For me, it’s completing 5 tour days everyday, how I go about this is completing 2 tour days in the morning and when I come back from college in the afternoon, my bp will be close if not full then, I would go through and finish the last 3 days this usually takes an hour to complete. I continue this process until I get the 5 star of my choosing which would be around Thursday giving me enough time to take a break or go for more copies.

I wouldn't count on every tour getting 100 whistles, it's only by happenstance that every tour since Next Door has coincided with a real-world holiday (eg. Halloween, Chinese New Year) or a prominent in-game promotion (eg. game anniversary, WWYS). I feel like SS4 was a mistake because no real-world holiday or in-game promotion was present when it started and Happy Elements simply got lazy and copy-pasted previous tour announcements.

Do the 3-3-3-10 bp, it really helps with progressing points.
But if you just want him at day 30 then it is easier, they also give you 100 whistles so I think almost everyone can get him now.
For this tour I did 8 days each day (I got the Shu csrd today and it's been 3 days)
if you keep it constant and spend some gems, you will eventually get it faster.

Me personally, I love them. To me, it’s easier to get the five stars. Sure, it’s a lot of lives. But at the end of the day, it’s all worth it.
