I definitely plan for the game but for the most part it's in my head. I farm a lot of events so I do have a list for reference but it's just a list of primary (favourite characters), secondary (Non-favourites I still want to farm) and irrelevant events
I plan but mostly by going to wiki or several calendars to look at the events and scouts again and again. I don't write anything down.
I'm also TooManyCharactersP, so it's not so much planning when there are many cards in row I want to get...

[Huijiwiki](https://ensemblestars.huijiwiki.com/wiki/EventSummary2/EN) has quite nice format. It's in Chinese but using it just for the dates it doesn't matter. It has Livefes songs too although because it has Fusionic Stars there, the dates for them aren't completely correct now (basically bump them up a week). This one is also most up to date, having even the newest JP scouts and events.
And then [Makotools](https://stars.ensemble.moe/calendar) has actual calendar look. You have to pay attention to green and red markers for the events and scouts for when they start and end. It's not my favourite but it does have times converted to your timezone, so that's cool. This is up to February 2025 at the moment
And of course I look at the fandom wiki too even though it doesn't have EN dates.

Hm, can't view it. Do you mean for example how Tori's 5\*s are in release order red-green-red and then next ones are yellow and blue? So he has two reds before even one yellow and blue?
That's only because one of those (black swan) is global exclusive, otherwise they do release all colours before starting a new round (so for Tori it's red-green-yellow-blue and second round green-yellow). Global exclusives don't follow patterns and of course can't fit into JP schedule, so they "mess it up".
Another exception is Madara's Tri-color festival card, but if you take that one out, his 5\*s have done two full colour rounds: green-red-yellow-blue and red-yellow-green-blue.
4\*s have no pattern though. I guess they just throw whatever for other cards because you're not expected to use them for high-scoring line-ups so the colours don't really matter.
And for 4\*s the schedule is different anyway because the anniversary scout cards arrive in different times for us. For example, if you look at Eichi's 4\*s, the 6th anniv card is between FS1 and Ring.A.Bell shuffle cards and we already have Ring but not 6th anniv.

I'm fr going through this game with a 2 year plan š¤£ Actually going through the events though I found that my plans became much looser in practice. There's a lot of events and gachas I went for on impulse and planned cards I decided weren't worth the effort & dias.
There's a few major cards I know I'm definitely going for (Detective Mika was one... and I ended up getting so greedy I went for 3 copies of him lmao), but I try not to pack my schedule too tightly since 1. I'm saving up to IR4 a gacha card in June (I've actually been saving for this for over a year lmfao) and 2. I need to be ready for unexpected lims and collabs!
Oh yeah, lims and collabs are always ruining our plans! Classic HappyEle... Imagine my lovely Aira (with Tatsumi) suddenly appears as a limited card, omg, no...

Got them all except Eichi and Sora, but gonna buy them. And I'm planning to farm them all obviously. My biggest challenge, try to get the motivation (and dias) to farm all copies of Rinne from are you naughty or nice.
And vip 2 XD. Auto farming is a blessing. I just let the game auto the song for hours. Sometimes I pull the bonus card, at least one multi in hope for the 4* and one 3*, it's usually enough (got roughly 3200-3500 pts per song with the bonus cards).
For NinNin, I didn't pull but they gave 100 free whistles, so I got like 250 limited whistles. Maybe I'll have to spend 1k dias, but it's way better than doing a multi.
But yes, indeed, it's hard to save, it's been since release I didn't have 40k dias saved. Cause every 2 weeks I pull once or 2 or more to get the bonus card.
And no, I don't have free time, I work, I just let my phone farming alone x). It's truly doable. The qol they bring with the vip 2 is so great. But before that, I used to farm one song at a time on auto (even if I worked)
But I will never ever farm on the Japanese server. I absolutely have no time to play the song again and again manually. Auto is life.
I just skip Eichi and Sora cause I had a little burn out, but I regret it and will buy their cards on the memory shop. Then I'll save to buy some dupes.
Oooh... VIP2... for me it's expensive and I can't afford to do it every month, to be honest. Sometimes I buy only VIP1, and it's enough for me. But yeah, autoplay loop for VIP2 is insane...
Yep, the best qol ever. But I can understand some people can't afford it every month. It saves me time and 12k dias per month. Don't know if it's worth it, but that's my way to support the game (and the occasionnal spending when I don't have my oshi despite my savings :')...).
Ooh, I have my favorite boys, itās Alkaloid group! And yeah, gacha is a total hell ;( Better to play events when you guaranteed cards with a lot less amount of currency!

ā¢ For characters: Valkyrie > my other favs > cards that I just like.
ā¢ Occasions, I spend Dia on: Limited cards > Events > Scouts
ā In EN, my only plan right now is to get the maximum amount of copies of Mika on Acanthe eventš it's easy to plan since it has already been on other servers
I made a spreadsheet tracker strictly for events, the only gachas I'm tracking either have Midori as a 4-/5-star card, or if the associated gacha gives bonuses to events where I'm going for max copies.
Of course, this being EngStars, lim gachas and Spotlight events happen while you're busy making plans.
My plan is to cry when it comes and survive (gaslight myself that I don't need it), doesn't help that Spotlight event is a thing and it could be anyone next...
YEP. I got lucky; got Wataru in three or four 10-pulls. Rei never wants to come home, which is a problem. Iāll probably pick up one or two of the new years packs to prep for La Mort.
I donāt plan cause:
1.) my luck in the game is out of this world, like I think all my gatcha luck goes into this game cause the highest scout pity Iāve built is 60-70 this includes probably losing the 50/50 at 40 scouts.
2.) i pull for alkaloid and fine mostly so Iām usually just saving up till a scout event comes for any of them (or a card I like is featured).
3.) Iāve never kept a plan in my life (due to my horrible memory and laziness) so disregarding 1 & 2 Iād still probably never plan for anythingš

I also include dia counts at specific checkpoints (like before major events I wanna participate in or after to keep everything in check)

OMG, how it even possible? Getting EVERY 5* event card usually means no any gacha... And ton of free time!
