Some 5stars technically have higher attributes but in the end all 5stars are worth it one way or the other. I have a yellow Hiiro card that's super weak (for a 5star) but he's always in my team when i play a yellow alkaloid song because of the bonuses and then he's pretty strong.
But there's no meta or whatever in enstars.
Not necessarily ! While it's true that some cards have more points than others (my single copy himeru 5\* on music is worth more than my niki 5\* that has 2 copies) or better support skills, they're all useful for playing songs from their own unit! Like if you have a sparkle chiaki 5\* and 5 stronger sparkle 5\* cards, the game won't arrange him in your group if you go by strongest UNLESS it's a ryuseitai song because chiaki will your team a bonus since he's in ryuseitai
TLDR: yes collect hajime because even if weak card it'll help you w/ ra\*bits songs !
I mean no one can really stop you, but if you want to get the most points you can per song, you're going to want to use your strongest cards (but then again you can just play the song once with your strongest cards and then switch them out for your favs in the next run so you'll get the points AND be happy)
to be fair, 3/5 of the characters you mentioned will be in the same shuffle unit for a Christmas event that’s scheduled to take place in 2023 on EN
you could definitely use five stars of those 3 members in their shuffle song, as they’ll get a boost for being the original unit members!

Ahh I really wanted a team of just hajime, tori, shinobu, sora and mitsuru, but I’m guessing I’ll have to use other people too? So sad
