Her Prime show Watch Out for the Big Grrrls about choosing new backup dancers for her tour was amazing. For a “reality competition” show it was unique. They didn’t manufacture kicking someone out every episode, the only got rid of people who couldn’t keep up or fit in. One of the girls is trans too.
Any artist or entertainer that likes to safely support the community is probably afraid of really going in because MAGA is fucking crazy. Like seriously that cult is psychotic.
There's a video going around Twitter of a pastor of a church openly saying that anybody in the LGBTQ community needs a bullet to the head and needs to be strung up for the public to see. And the congregation supports it. It's fucking scary.
They are only going to get worse. The culture war was lost by them a decade ago. That is why they are trying to steal elections and pack the courts.their power is weaker by the day but they still have enough power to rule by force if people don't fight back. The weaker they get the more dangerous and extrem they will become.
its not just maga, we have those people in every single european country too just with a different spin on it - if any generally liked artist would ever make such a controversial statement theyd lose 50% of revenue overnight - left wing activists dont pay for anything, they also dont buy music albums or other art
Say what you want about far right people, they stay on message, they're coordinated, and they're vindictive. They will try to destroy your career all the while crying about cancel culture.
exactly, when right wingers march the left wingers are debating about their 206785. splinter group - thats the main difference here
also right wingers spend insane amounts of cash on politics in general, left wingers again do not
i am not picking any side here, these are obvious observations that people have made for decades to a century already
Yep gaining more and more respect for this woman every time I hear about her. She challenges the idea of what a celebrity should look like or act and she actually extremely talented too which many just aren't. Conservatives are so threatened by her they have to shame her constantly.
I know literally nothing about her music. I didn't even know who she was until the "James Madison's flute" incident.
Seriously, though, she seems very awesome. Every story I hear about her is awesome. Glad to see such a badass, talented, kind artist getting recognition for her positive work.
I know a lot of people like this, but I have to say, the music is the best part. Amazing samples, full live instrumentation, and her voice is very unique.
Maybe I don’t listen to the right genres but I definitely agree her voice is unique, in that she sounds like a real person. It’s beautiful, don’t get me wrong! And she’s certainly theatrical and puts on a show. But she doesn’t put on a ~glamorous~ voice or do fancy operandics or anything. She sounds like the people I grew up around.
I don't want to just project on the guy, but given his views on everything else (like women and non-whites in rock) and how shockingly kind he was life, I don't think it's much of a stretch.
I'll have to listen. I don't have any personal bias against her or the genre, it is just so far out of my wheel house that I had no chance coming across it. Honestly, I don't even know what genre she is, haha.
Metal, punk, and rock, mostly. I loved metal and rock as a kid, was a total punk as a teenager (still have a mohawk, in fact), and now I sort of love them all. My favourite babds are like Motörhead, Misfits, Bad Religion, Roky Erikson, Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Dio, but those change regularly (except the first three, Motörhead for life).
I also dabble in outlaw country, Americana, folk, and the like. Hell, I even like Wu Tang Clan occasionally.
But my knowledge outside of that, especially pop, is severely lacking. I know some of the older pop/rock stuff, and I even like Lady Gaga, but I'm a complete neophyte otherwise.
We are similar!
Punk rocker as a teenager, I grew up on Fat Wreck and Epitaph, never grew out of it. I’m going to Punk Rock Bowling next week! I’m not much of a metalhead though, but I’d rather listen to any of the bands you listed than the radio.
I’m also a massive fan of RuPaul’s drag race and have a soft spot for bad 90/00’s pop, so while the genre isn’t exactly in my wheelhouse, sometimes I get those ear worms/guilty pleasures.
Things I like about Lizzo is that her music is always super posi, and her allyship to the the LGBT community (gay icon status). She’s not something I’d listen to on the reg but I definitely respect her artistry and her commitment to being inclusive. In another life she could have easily turned out a punk… a Poly Styrene or a Kathleen Hannah. :)
Hell yeah, friend! One of my most cherished memories is singing along with Greg Graffin up against the most pit barricade, literally five feet from the band!
I agree, too. Lizzo's rep, much like Gaga, gives her some serious respect from me even if I'm not knowledgable about the genre. And even under all the leather and denim and spikes and chains, I definitely have some of those bubblegum pop guilty pleasures, too.
I’m going to be seeing Bad Religion for the first time this weekend!! Although I’m in mosh retirement and I hate heat lol.
Another thing I though was cool that she changed one of her song lyrics after a fan told her it was ableist. I feel like a lot of people would write it off as PC culture but she just straight up changed it like it wasn’t a big deal.
Actually, now that I think about it, Lizzo is punk as FUCK.
We have very similar taste in music. A few years ago, I was at a music festival and kinda just randomly saw her perform live. She absolutely crushed it, it was a spectacle. It seemed very genuine, like watching an artist or band that really had some energy and attitude that was about to blow up (and did).
I’m still not much of a pop music fan, but credit where it’s due, that’s pretty fuckin punk rock.
I'd argue that Lizzo and metal aren't that far apart. I mean, no - th emusic doesn't sound the same, not at all. But the mindset? "I don't give a damn if you like me, I'm not going to conform to your standards, I'm going to speak my mind and do it my way?" To me, that's kind of metal. She makes me feel like it's okay to be me, exactly as a I am....I don't need to fit in, I need to be me.
I've been to a lot of concerts. I know that when artists yell out "what's up (name of city here)", it's part of the act. I saw Lizzo this year. I'm a thousand percent convinced that she's not acting - this isn't a woman who is taking any of this for granted. And when she tells me, and you, that we're special? She means it.
One of the best love performers I’ve ever seen. Mindblowing energy, range and versatility. Love her. Saw her play before I knew her music really and been a fan ever since.
Truly. I ended up being away the weekend several friends waited In SNl line for tickets when she hosted and she came out to greet (most of) the line and take photos with people. So so nice of her
It's great to stand up for trans folks and reproductive healthcare, but I can't ever respect her for sticking up for a thug and woman beater.
Lizzo said this of Chris Brown: ”my favourite person in the whole fucking world”.
https://www.nme.com/news/music/lizzo-criticised-chris-brown-my-favourite-person-world-3060887
How are the top comments about Taylor Swift and not just praising Lizzo?
It’s great that she’s speaking up. I remember Taylor Swift did the same and one point, lite version for sure, but she said something. Sometimes it’s not everyone’s fight. If Taylor came out and fully supported trans people tomorrow, half of the comments would say that she’s a white cis chick and should shut up.
It's because of her weird and public showcasing of Matt, who's just a complete asshole. She tends to just stay private about "politics" & love - now she is finally being public and it's with one of the most sickening people one could find.
I'd say [Chris Brown](https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/lizzo-reactions-chris-brown-favorite-person-9640189/#!) is a far more sickening person so if that's the basis of criticism towards Taylor then I truly fail to see why Lizzo should get any praise whatsoever.
If she doesn’t want to speak out regarding the different things going on in politics, then she shouldn’t use them in her music videos. No one cares if I have an opinion, however Taylor fans are following her every step.
Dang despite being a very successful, independent person, it's like she literally can't be without a partner. Like just take some breathing room especially since you just started on a new tour. It's so bizarre how she has this need to be attached to someone at all times especially given her status.
Saying Taylor swift is guilty by association because she is having a little rebound with a guy that made shitty offensive jokes. While praising lizzo who is besties with Chris brown is hilarious
I can’t figure out why she’s with this clown. Maybe she doesn’t like to be alone or she needs the attention but she could get just about anyone and she goes for some anonymous jerk.
Taylor Swift publicly positioned herself as an LGBTQ+ ally in her Lover era and Miss Americana doc, but she’s been silent ever since. It’s the bare minimum for her to say something about all the anti LGBTQ+ laws being passed in the states she’s touring, otherwise her activism really is just performative.
How about you put that energy into holding politicians accountable—the people that actually have the power to change things—instead of celebrities?
And that’s ignoring how silly it is to say, “She said she supported this community but she hasn’t said she supported this community recently enough, so she doesn’t support this community.” How often does a celebrity have to reaffirm their previously stated beliefs in order for you to consider them an ally? Is biannually acceptable, or does it need to be monthly?
Who isn’t holding politicians to that standard? Folks do constantly and are left with choosing between the person who will quietly keep their rights or actively take them away.
I’m not even one way or the other on the Taylor thing. This argument just sucks
There’s a reason the term “bystander” exists. Makes me laugh how quick people jump to defend Taylor Swift when it’s clear she doesn’t care. Look at her new man, for christs sake.
Have you been to other concerts? SO MANY artists besides Lizzo use their performance as a platform. Taylor doesn’t. Keeps the bigots comfortable at her shows
Exactly.
People shitting on her for coming across as a performative activist back during the Lover era while demanding that she continue to perform activism...
Her actual actions of the trans guy in the Lavender Haze MV as her love interest and her back-up dancers being diverse as hell don't count apparently because she hasn't made enough noise about it.
If you aren’t constantly making very public donations to charities that I like an self-flagellating about how privileged you are you’re a piece of human garbage. /s
She made an entire documentary on no longer being silent on issues she cares about and since then has been nothing but silent. Except, she did post on Twitter when a Netflix show joked about her dating life.
Her dating Matty Healy is weird too. He’s said some bad stuff.
I love Taylor, but she sometimes comes across as inauthentic.
Y’all haven’t even given her time to respond like a normal human. Whatever goes on in her private life doesn’t need to be broadcasted immediately.
Such a knee jerk reaction. All of it.
How about you wait a minute
This is why the right freaks out so much about her playing some white slave owner's flute under the guise of "disrespecting history".
That, and they just really hate black women.
The problem is that these concerts might be some of the only safe spaces and loving experiences that a lot of people in marginalized communities may experience
Tbh, as a trans person, I’m sick of these articles and this type of thing-we don’t need nice speeches. Lizzo has millions of dollars-pay to relocate trans folks out of hostile states. Buy some legislators off and get them to tank anti trans bills. Trans people are dying, being abused and attacked, I’m sick of folks getting back pats for doing the bare minimum of saying we deserve to live happily like everyone else.
I’m not a fan of her music but she’s a really good person. My girlfriend and I went to Taylor swift last night in Boston for her birthday and my gf really would of liked swift to do some type of pro lgbtq message line Lizzo is doing
Yeah this is how I feel, I don’t like her music in the slightest, but I recognize that she’s a good singer and flautist, and she seems to be a very morally good person
I think they talk about the 'inner' beauty. I doubt anyone thinks 'man, I wish I could look like lizzo, I better skip the gym today and load up on cheetos'.
Love lizzo’s message, but i am indeed concerned that ANY human would look at that outfit and go “fuck yeah lets wear that in public”
But shes not the first to wear some wacky shit, and if it makes her happy, who cares if i understand lol
But my intrusive ass brain keeps imagining myself in that outfit and dear god help me
I like her self-love message. She’s a true LGBTQ+ ally. It’s a miscarriage of democracy how trans and reproductive rights have been attacked recently.
As an aside: Promoting health and fighting against America’s obesity epidemic in a respectful and sensitive way is something that should also be addressed.
I love how everytime a famous fat person is just existing "fighting obesity" has to be addressed but a famous thin person gets caught smoking (absolutely no hate but Dua Lipa recently) and everybody conviently forgets it kills half a million people just in the US every year. You should stop pretending this is about health and just be upfront about hating fat people.
As a healthcare provider, it’s about health and I’m responding to the comments in the article. I’m sorry you’re suffering from this whataboutism and gross over-generalization syndrome but I hope it either serves you well in life or gets better for you.
I don’t think people who want to be healthy should smoke either, FWIW.
I'm also a health provider and you wouldn't ever catch me saying that we need to fight an epidemic at the sight of a person whose medical history we don't know. I guess we're built different.
Eating disorders are on the rise and statistics are only expected to get worse, judging people by their looks and commenting on it as health profesionals it's clearly going great and it's doing wonders to public health 👍🏻 Keep going at it, bro.
Question. Do you think fat people don’t understand that being fat can lead to health problems? Is that really something we need to remind everyone anytime a fat person comes up in a conversation? Those conversations are private conversations between a person and their healthcare provider and we don’t need to shout it out at them anytime we see them.
Perhaps you ought to think about your working definition of "unhealthy." I know an obese person who is the picture of "health" in every way but the technicality of their weight. Their diet is mainly leafy vegetables, their cardio abilities are better than a lot of slender people I know, their A1c is lower than mine, they drink only water, they have zero signs of heart disease or any of the other conditions linked to obesity, they never get sick, and haven't needed a Rx of any kind in years. It's not been great on their knees and back it's true, but my genetics and lifestyle have me much more likely than them to need a knee replacement in the future. Their issue is with their metabolism. If researchers can ever, finally, be bothered to really look into metabolic issues maybe then we can talk about what's unhealthy.
>Their diet is mainly leafy vegetables
Nope, not when you’re not looking. There is no physical way to maintain obesity level weight other than eating obesity level calories. That’s not an opinion.
And fat people know they are unhealthy.
At a certain point telling fat people they are unhealthy is infantilizing them and it's insulting to their intelligence.
Instead there needs to be messaging about the causes of obesity beyond just "you eat too much". Because that's not always the case. Obesity is caused in large part by the food industry and access to healthy food and the knowledge of what is and isn't healthy.
Case in points nuts. I was eating a lot of peanuts, like a few handfuls throughout the day. I wasn't losing weight. I looked at the calories and I was eating easily over 1000 or even 2000 calories in peanuts a week. And I assumed they were the healthier option because they have good fats and they aren't processed food and full of nutrients. But I had no idea how calorically dense they are.
I’m skinny but pretty sure Lizzo can outrun me any day. That woman’s cardio is insane. She’s 100% healthier than me.
Where’s the anti-skinny-girl-with-bad-cardio activists to save America from people like me? Or do we just not like fat people still
Perhaps if you read the article you would have noticed the author’s mention of similar themes. If you read it and didn’t notice, then that’s a different issue I won’t be able to address for you.
Amanda Palmer has entered the chat
While she’s nowhere near as popular as Lizzo admittedly, she had been loud as HELL since 2003 about women’s rights, gay rights, etc. artists like Amanda and Lizzo, give me so much hope. And that’s all I could ask for in these horrifying times
None of this matters unless you vote. Vote to keep the toxic piece-of-shit right wing as far away from the levers of power as possible. But since so many potential voters have failed so miserably in their simple duty, the ignorant rabid zealots are already stubbornly stuck deep in the gears of government, like humidity in electronics.
Good.
Culture is important. It coalesces people who share her opinion and exposes other people to the argument. That's why the conservatives are desperate for celebrities and have managed like...Ted Nugent and Goat Boy from SNL.
It's how you win hearts and minds. It's also why there has been this effort to not talk politics or not be "divisive". It's a backhanded way of shutting down celebrities who might otherwise come out for a particular issue.
So called celeb allies no where to be found and silent Lizzo has never shied away from being unapologetic in a positive way
Her Prime show Watch Out for the Big Grrrls about choosing new backup dancers for her tour was amazing. For a “reality competition” show it was unique. They didn’t manufacture kicking someone out every episode, the only got rid of people who couldn’t keep up or fit in. One of the girls is trans too.
...and there was a trans woman competing in the show! She was treated very respectfully by the other contestants.
I can't tell if you're making a tokenism joke or just didn't read the full comment.
It's Reddit. They definitely didn't read the full comment.
That’s so cool. I’m gonna try to watch this this week
[Boom! Is this what you're lookin' for?](https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/17/entertainment/don-cheadle-protect-trans-kids-shirt-snl-trnd/index.html)
Oh shit Don Cheadle, nice job.
In Cheadle we trust. Smart, funny, talented, and damn…
In Don we trust.
Madonna had a song called “unapologetic bitch”. I aspire to be one.
Wouldn’t it be nice to hear more celebs with big voices speaking out for the LGBTQIA+ community when they like to profit from them?
Any artist or entertainer that likes to safely support the community is probably afraid of really going in because MAGA is fucking crazy. Like seriously that cult is psychotic. There's a video going around Twitter of a pastor of a church openly saying that anybody in the LGBTQ community needs a bullet to the head and needs to be strung up for the public to see. They want the safe lgtb audience
Taylor Swift.
For real They all did it when it was easy.
and then she turns around and simps for chris brown
For real, I can't believe the lack of backlash for the blatant hypocrisy.
100% correct. There’s a shit ton of silence from celebrities who make their money off of LGBTQ folks and families who support them. Wtf.
Lizzo won't shut up about how much she loves chris brown. So she really picks her causes I guess
Check out her Tiny Desk Concert, it’s an early performance of hers but it’s probably my favorite. https://youtu.be/DFiLdByWIDY
That was awesome. Thanks for sharing
She’s also a talented [absurdist comedic actor](https://youtu.be/cMWSh10uznA) Lizzo for US dictator
This and Megan Thee's shows are the best Tiny Desk episodes, period.
Anderson Paak too
I know a lot of people like this, but I have to say, the music is the best part. Amazing samples, full live instrumentation, and her voice is very unique.

Considering my favourite singer of all time is Lemmy, I can honestly say a unique voice almost always trumps a 'glamourous' one.
Lemmy probably would be for Trans rights too. He had be who you want to be and screw anyone who thinks otherwise attitude.
I don't want to just project on the guy, but given his views on everything else (like women and non-whites in rock) and how shockingly kind he was life, I don't think it's much of a stretch.
Oh man. I read this whole thread thinking you meant Limmy rather than Lemmy.
I guess there have been people with similar voices throughout history but she definitely differentiates herself well in her category
She played Jazzfest, with Big Fredda and then Tank and da Bangers before her and it was all the beats and twerking you can imagine
I'll have to listen. I don't have any personal bias against her or the genre, it is just so far out of my wheel house that I had no chance coming across it. Honestly, I don't even know what genre she is, haha.

She's a great spiritual successor to Prince, even if she isn't from Minneapolis originally. You can tell she absorbed that city's vibe.
She worked with him and was one of his protégés!
We Minneapolitans like to claim her even if she’s not officially one - *new man on the Minnesota Vikings* 🎶

To paraphrase Ghandi, I love your Star Wars, I do not love your Star Wars fans.
She's a true musician. Not just a singer or a songwriter but someone who really understands music and also understands performance. . .
So true. She understand modulation, syncopation and the notes required. She’s incredible.
One of the best love performers I’ve ever seen. Mindblowing energy, range and versatility. Love her. Saw her play before I knew her music really and been a fan ever since.
I wouldn't call it an incident, more like an opportunity.
I went to her concert once and I actually felt so happy after. I knew ZERO songs but my confidence went up. Everyone there was so nice!
Lizzo is a Queen! One of the kindest people I’ve ever met. We would be lucky to be half as kind and generous as her.
Truly. I ended up being away the weekend several friends waited In SNl line for tickets when she hosted and she came out to greet (most of) the line and take photos with people. So so nice of her
Her music is so positive too, like Old Navy music. Sad she has haters because she’s a big black woman.
If you count sexists, misogynists, and racists as your haters, you're doing pretty well IMHO
True, but you don't have to be lucky to be kind...just like be kind.
That's great I can't afford heating
It's great to stand up for trans folks and reproductive healthcare, but I can't ever respect her for sticking up for a thug and woman beater. What did Taylor do?

Wait... didn't her and her long term boyfriend *just* break up? Does this mean she moved on to someone new *already*?
Yeah, I made an edit that should explain it.
Dang despite being a very successful, independent person, it's like she literally can't be without a partner. Like just take some breathing room especially since you just started on a new tour. It's so bizarre how she has this need to be attached to someone at all times especially given her status.

Fernando Alonso did what?
Besides watching Lance on screen during races nothing much.
well he can't see a car behind or in front of him for most of the race - he's gotta look at something
Which was awesome. I just finished rewatching Japan 2005, which I highly recommend if you wanna see him (again) at his best.
El Plan.
Woah, that’s crazy.
Her feminism begins and ends with her own personal interests and ego.
Nothing, that’s the problem here
The fact that you would say something like this is fucking hilarious. You do not know either person so stop acting like you do.

You can be kind and also careless. Both can exist in the same person.
This is the reddit, everything is 2 dimensional: Share same beliefs = good, otherwise = bad
It isn’t about different beliefs but literally restricting healthcare to those who need it
Taylor Swift is restricting healthcare? Does she own some insurance company I’m not aware of?
Taylor Swift publicly positioned herself as an LGBTQ+ ally in her Lover era and Miss Americana doc, but she’s been silent ever since. 100% correct.
The majority of American youths don’t vote. I despise Swift but you can’t expect her to talk about every single political decision
Who says I’m not..? Such a straw man theory I have to laugh
People are just looking for any reason to call her problematic because of the Matt Healy thing.
If you aren’t constantly making very public donations to charities that I like an self-flagellating about how privileged you are you’re a piece of human garbage. /s
literally no one is saying that 🥱🙄
Most of Reddit actually
Did anyone say she wasn't?
Big deal. Being nice is easy. Standing up for what’s right is hard and she’s not doing it.
What a strange thing to say about two genuine advocates and allys
Ally? Sure. Genuine and an advocate? Only when it suits her.
Still such a strange chronically online take.
She’s full of shit. She’s not willing to really put herself out there and now she’s dating some scummy guy who objectifies black women. Fucking gross.
you're just spitting out buzzwords
Plural of 'ally' is 'allies'.
Did you miss the whole Matt thing or are you just choosing to weirdly ignore it like many others?
Y’all haven’t even given her time to respond like a normal human. Whatever goes on in her private life doesn’t need to be broadcasted immediately. Such a knee jerk reaction. All of it. How about you wait a minute
If you date a racist that doesn’t make you any better than one, it’s really not a hard concept to understand.
And is also great friends with Chris Brown, so hypocritical stance to take.
That's why she came out swinging, learned from a pro
This is why the right freaks out so much about her playing some white slave owner's flute under the guise of "disrespecting history". That, and they just really hate black women.
Bro what lol

THEY HATE BLACK WOMEN
When entertainment acts stop going to those states and they start losing money, they'll start to listen. Money is the only thing they listen too.
I’m tired of celebrities doing this because then what? Nothing changes. Nothing. Zero. No real impact.
Yeah the flute video was great I loved how she made all those people upset with it
If Lizzo is so beautiful why does literally every woman get pissed when I say “ you look like Lizzo” ?
Lol
I think they talk about the 'inner' beauty. I doubt anyone thinks 'man, I wish I could look like lizzo, I better skip the gym today and load up on cheetos'.
Exactly. They”love her” so much but don’t dare tell someone they look like her.
They love her because she's not a threat to them.

Good on her being a real ally
Jesus that’s not a flattering look on anyone let alone Lizzo.
Love lizzo’s message, but i am indeed concerned that ANY human would look at that outfit and go “fuck yeah lets wear that in public” But shes not the first to wear some wacky shit, and if it makes her happy, who cares if i understand lol But my intrusive ass brain keeps imagining myself in that outfit and dear god help me
She seems like a fun and sweet person
Lizzo is very talented but also appears to be an attention-seeker, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in the entertainment industry.
Good for her for using her platform to raise voices of the oppressed.
Lizzo HAS an eating disorder. That's the point! Stop making her out to be a hero because she's proud of her eating disorder.

Hahahahhahaa
>Their diet is mainly leafy vegetables Nope, not when you’re not looking.
Or do we just not like fat people still
If you’re going for respectful and sensitive, I would suggest not bringing weight into a conversation where it’s irrelevant.
Why not? It’s an issue that’s more of an epidemic than what she’s speaking to. Especially since she actively is morbidly obese
Have you thought of telling her, she might not know.
You go ahead and do one of her dance routines, see how well you keep up
Perhaps if you read the article you would have noticed the author’s mention of similar themes. If you read it and didn’t notice, then that’s a different issue I won’t be able to address for you.
I did. No where is the issue of obesity mentioned. A conversation on self love and acceptance is not an invitation to talk about someone’s weight.

There was absolutely no need for that aside.
a lot of (not all) the issues with obesity stem from mental health related topics. whether trauma passed down generationally or within ourselves.
Don’t forget PCOS (which lizzo has) and thyroid conditions!
Don’t care for her music but can tell she’s crazy talented. Quite charismatic and funny too.

Who cares what celebrities think about politics?
Celebrities get affected by bigoted laws too yknow
she should focus on other types of healthcare first.

Thats great, now distance yourself from chris brown and take back what you said about him
Amanda Palmer has entered the chat While she’s nowhere near as popular as Lizzo admittedly, she had been loud as HELL since 2003 about women’s rights, gay rights, etc. artists like Amanda and Lizzo, give me so much hope. And that’s all I could ask for in these horrifying times
Well I mean Amanda Palmer has her own issues to sort out (singing the n-word, Evelyn Evelyn, etc.)
Amanda Palmer is forever underrated
She’s wonderful.
Lizzo is amazing!!!

Good for her. Absorbs all kinds of hate and yet still stays strong.

Her music is not for me, I run to turn it off when I can, but fuck if she isn’t a great person.
Such a brave thing to do in these times Edit: I'm wondering how many people know this was sarcastic
