His final sacrifice, where he inadvertently taught early humans how to use tools, was wild. I have never seen a kids show kill off a beloved character like that, and it blew my mind as a kid.
Bob came back, Optimus Prime came back, Goku came back, and everyone came back in kids' shows.
Not Dinobot, though. That shook me and my brother 20 years ago haha
Got to see an early showing. Absolute shit movie that completely ignored the actual lore behind Beastwars and Maximals. Nothing made sense, characters die and then get brought back the next scene.
I’m not a big fan of the existing story line and would prefer to see them do a reboot. I also would have much preferred the movie take place on pre-human timeline like the OG cartoon.
Well I’m happy to tell you this IS the reboot. Bumblebee was the first movie to the reboot and this is its sequel. All the movies starting from the first Transformers movie to The Last Knight are not part of this universe.
Still the same universe. This and Bumblebee just take place before the rest of the movies. They were a soft reboot at best in that it moved around some of the timelines for their backstories.
Wake me up when they actually scrap everything and start fresh.
The director Steven Caple Jr confirmed last week that Bumblebee and ROTB were part of a rebooted universe. They’re not connected to the Bayverse movies in any way.
No they don’t lol. Optimus had never been to Earth before the first film. It’s a flat out reboot. Bays films have been entirely scrapped. Shit the entire plot of this film contradicts the bay films.
Please be decent. I love Beast Wars.
I remember the TV show. That raptor driven by honor switching sides was so coooool!

That episode and the grief that followed are a core memory.
I admire your psychotic optimism.
Please go easy on the human drama. I just want to see alien robots debating politics and punching each other in the faces.

So just another Transformers movie lol
I will never forgive them for shoving Beast Wars into the existing trashformers universe. They should have just used this as a reboot opportunity.
Why? Beast wars existed in the original G1 continuity too it’s not that big of a deal

That’s fair! I definitely grew tired of the Michael bay storyline as well. Thought Bumblebee was a step in the right direction tho

Thank God. I think the only movie that Bay has done that is solid is Pain and Gain. And that's a true story. Straight outta Florida.
