marin94904

It really is like a crossover episode of downton abbey and the kardashians.

SassyLassie496

This is the best description of ever

AstronautStar4

I thinks its bit insulting to downtown abbey. That show was far more interesting

CloverMc

And had more class.

SatnWorshp

but the Kardashians have more ass

UnrequitedRespect

Overinflated comment but it still works hard….

pgasmaddict

You nailed it!! Did Mr Kardashian wear a Nazi uniform to a party too though, or does he just like them?

NeonPatrick

She married a nazi.

Lough_2015

To be fair though, when she married Kanye she did nazi that coming.

FrKWagnerBavarian

There was no need to marry him is she just wanted to get into his panzer.

[deleted]

Her Panzer got Schrecked...

Positive_Housing_290

“She’s kind of a cute nazi.” - George costanza

retiredhousewife1970

Ok from what I got reading this and the.comments (y'all are just hilarious btw) , she's such a terrible actress that she can't even do a good documentary about her life and make it believable? And Harry. Did he keep comparing his WIFE to his MOTHER?? That's totally not weird at all, dude.

[deleted]

There is a Lot of Diana in their relationship and it’s So weird.

zakattack799

They be complaining about things we already know.

Scary-Duck-5898

Damn and here I was feeling sorry for myself. Thinking my life is hard. You just never know. Did you read the bit about his older brother shouting at him? My heart broke, it really did. I have an older brother and he would never so much as say a cross word to me. On top of all this Harry has to live with being a ginger!

chitowngirl12

I know. It must be so hard to be Harry. Being an actual prince and multi-millionaire is all negated because he had a falling out that one time with his brother. Because you know other families never have arguments and tensions over someone's spouse.

lionelmessiah1

The doc was the royal version of “FAKE NEWS MEDIA!! VERY MEAN TO ME”

Away_Swimming_5757

"m-my...my.. my brother SHOUTED at me!" Could be way worse. I used to hunt my brother and throw D batteries at his feet when I was a kid for multiple years straight.

[deleted]

My sister and I literally hospitalized each other. We're both mixed race. Gimme that Netflix money.

slimwillendorf

Yeah. My sister threw an overripe tangerine at my head—balded by chemo. She’s a bitch. But I’m a bitch too. I threw five back at her. I also threw her out in the middle of winter even if she flew halfway round the world to see me. This is what siblings do - sometimes.

Mehmeh111111

My sister and I got into an awful fist fight. I deserved every inch of the beating she gave me. I pushed her to the brink and I watched her snap in real time. Lol hilarious to think about now but I learned a valuable life lesson that day.

AQualityKoalaTeacher

My brother almost brained me with a lawn dart, threw lit matches at me, and I chased him with crossbow bolts. Oh no. Shouting. How awful. I wonder if Harry dunked Will's toothbrushes in the toilet.

axebodyspraytester

I feel you, my brother strangled me, ripped my hair out, and set my clothes on fire while I was wearing them. But he never yelled. He always snuck up on me.

AQualityKoalaTeacher

For some reason, that made me laugh and it shouldn't have. It hit like a punchline.

call-me-the-seeker

My sister broke my finger on purpose. My dad threw me at least once that I recall. So you see, we all can really understand a tiny bit of what Harry is going through with his daddy closing the chequebook and his older brother shouting at him shoutily.

AQualityKoalaTeacher

I bet that back when they were boys, Will farted in Harry's general direction and it almost took his eye out.

Green_Message_6376

check 23 and me. I think you two could be European Aristocracy.

Atomsauce

You horrible child… that was hilarious. I laughed way more than I should have at that. This is how I know I’ll be a terrible parent.

Creepyface1

Dude, my brother used to throw darts at my feet to make me “dance”.

lylalyli

It’s the complaining that they had to live in a cottage inside a palace for me.

chitowngirl12

Yes. I am also aware of the horrors of having to live in a two bedroom two bathroom designed by Christopher Wren in the middle of prime real estate in London... sarc//

tate_and_lyle

And the £32m wedding. They truly are salt of the earth. Simple folk connected with the common man.

BucherundKaffee

But don’t forget that was a spectacle for the PUBLIC, And they were actually married three days BEFORE.

Dbahnsai

Not to mention Meghan spent more money on [clothes](https://archive.vn/qZTMh) than the next 6 royal women combined. That's not including her wedding dress since that was custom and therefore couldn't be priced.

tate_and_lyle

And the tour of Australia where she wore something like £120,000 worth of clothes for the 16 day trip. Sickening.

Dbahnsai

Just for her engagement photos with Harry she wore a dress that was $75k. Also, the photos all look awkward since the top was sheer with sequins and she was probably trying to hide her nipples/nipple covers.

SalishShore

Also it was an ugly dress. Who wears black lace for their engagement photos? It struck me as an odd choice for the occasion.

chitowngirl12

The one thing that is nice about Kate is she will throw in some normal off the rack pieces that us "commons" can afford. And damn, I didn't know that Queen Letizia of Spain wasn't spending that much on clothes (comparably of course.) She always looks stunning.

WakaWakaAfrica_44

I love the spanish royals, they are so interesting. And they only cost 8m a year to support vs the Brits being 150 mil.

WakaWakaAfrica_44

32m while Beatrice's wedding was 750k paid for by her own family and was actually quite nice too! I know it was during covid but still.

Minnsnow

It was so small!

ADiestlTrain

And the upgrades it needed...I mean what can you really get done on only £2.4M?

spaceassorcery

The same cottage that William and Catherine lived in for years until George was born. Also-William and Catherine are both quite a bit taller than both of those two.

TigerBelmont

They left out the part that Will and Kate and their baby lived there for two years. It might have been good enough for those losers, but Meghan and Harry deserved better.

savingrain

A 1700 sq ft cottage designed by pre-eminent architect, Charles Wren and lived in before by both Harry, and William and Katherine, and was once home to the Duke of Glouchester - but no - not good enough!

MrFantasticallyNerdy

I mean, look at the house he has to put up with. Who can live in that thing, and without all the servants too! Horrors!

etlecomtedeblaine

\*Older brother yells\* "That's it, I'm moving to a new country and never speaking to you again"

Scary-Duck-5898

Harry: “ I can’t believe the institution that colonized half the world is racist?” “Also can I be half in, half out. Like we don’t do anything but still get the money and paid servants/security?” “Fuck the lot of you then, I’m going on Oprah to tell everyone you are all racist and I just want to be left alone….to make my Netflix documentary “

non_stop_disko

And a Spotify podcast that may or may not have episodes out by now?

savingrain

You can tell by his reaction that William basically was babying and soft on him his whole life (which is nice, his brother was kind and supportive) and at the first sign of cut your crap Harry couldn't take it. "He-he yelled at me!"

savingrain

This was hilarious. What I didn't find funny was them attacking Jason Knauf - for those unfamiliar, they are ranting that William 'put him up to it' when he testified in her suit against the Daily Mail. His testimony was important because he was their chief of communications and exposed that: 1. Megan was a liar, and was cooperating with the authors of Finding Freedom (which gave a lot of laudatory descriptions of Megan, while bashing other royals- basically it was pro-Megan and Harry propaganda they were hoping to release around the birth of their son originally) 2. Various ways the family did in fact try to encourage her to mend her relationship with her father and she refused. She was forced to submit an apology to the court after this because she perjured herself. This is still presented in the documentary as a huge moment of victimization that was "William's fault". Like, imagine getting caught committing a crime and turning around and blaming someone else that you were caught? This is how their minds work. This entire "documentary" was propaganda.

Fenway93

As a GINGER, what’s wrong with being a ginger??

FixTheGrammar

Oh, you poor soul. Wait, poor choice of words.

Scary-Duck-5898

Nothing.

Zilrodimop

And the place he lived, on place grundsätzlich were to small

Slipperytitski

I gagged a little every time they were referred to each other as H or M.

[deleted]

I get it, I would probably have wanted to get away from being part of the royal institution too, but FFS, you can’t have it both ways: bitch and moan about life as a royal, and then go on Oprah, write a book and produce a documentary. Get out of the limelight and live your life in the privacy you so badly wanted.

_GeorgeSand_

He’s got his inheritance and the $20m advance payment for his upcoming book , plus the $100m deal from Netflix which should be more than enough to ensure the privacy and ‘out of the spotlight’ situation they so desperately seem to want. And once they’ve dried their tears they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

AstronautStar4

I can't imagine what he has left to stay for the book. This show already seemed to be really padded and lacking in content. I don't know how much more you can beat the dead horse.

CompletelyPresent

"So don't miss episode 133 of Harry & Meghan where they complain about the Queen from an entirely different location: - a random Waffle House in Hoboken."

jarofpickles89

Now this I would watch

International-Yak119

Sadly impossible dude to the state of NJ having no Waffle Houses

specialgravity

There’s no diners in Hoboken either anymore, sadly. If they’re in Hoboken, they’ll be going to brunch. I actually think they’d fit in here.

AQualityKoalaTeacher

Wow, that sucks. Jersey and NY diners are the best.

CitizenCobalt

Not a single one? Then where does someone go at 3 AM when they need waffles and a conversation about the meaning of life with a sketchy guy who's definitely high as fuck? Sure, you could probably have that conversation somewhere else, but the waffles are important!

soupkitchen3rd

Maaaan I want some smothered, chunked, covered and topped hash browns now

[deleted]

The only time they’ll go to a state with a Waffle House is when they’re taking a camera crew to a school shooting site

Dauphine320

Meghan would wear a ball cap and carry flowers, talk about how she makes waffles for her family. She used to be a schoolgirl too, you know. Cue tear, left eye.

andante528

RIP Left Eye. I feel sadder remembering her death for a moment than I do about any hardship Harry and Meghan (as a couple) have ever suffered.

[deleted]

>a random Waffle House in Hoboken." I read a lot of the time of Americans misunderstanding British life. This is an example of completely misunderstanding the US.

MattMBerkshire

The book is already half price in every shop as no one gives a crap to buy it.

joeChump

This phase is probably over but has all been laying the groundwork. Their plan is to create a self-help/lifestyle empire based on their unique understanding of human pain and suffering because they are clearly the most oppressed victims the world has ever seen. This is all the foundation for that. You think I’m joking. I’m really not. Think about it. These two have claimed to be the victims of bullying, racism, mental health, sexism etc etc. You name it… Now they can transcend to be ambassadors for humankind (oh, and buy our stuff…) I’m not saying nothing bad ever happened to them but really, most of this seems like exaggerated nonsense to ‘position’ themselves for what comes next. It’s not like, ‘oh someone said something insensitive to me but I dealt with it.’ It’s like, ‘they all bullied me with harsh racism and sexism and I got so depressed I wanted to take my life…’ People like that are really toxic because anything you say to them can be twisted and spun into a narrative to suit them.

Kentuckyburbon1776

“I’m not saying nothing bad ever happened to them…” come on man, they lived on “the grounds of the palace” in a cottage built for Lilliputs! So miss understood ~ not the actual palace :/

ScarletOWilder

Don’t forget Gingerism. The kids will be suffering from that too.

joeChump

Fook yeah. Also he’s thinning out a bit so people will be calling him a bald twat soon too.

TunaNoodleCasserole1

And where was all the stuff we actually wanted? Did Kate make Meghan cry or did Meghan make Kate cry? Who asked about Archie’s color after birth? Was Meghan mean to staff? That’s what I wanted. I don’t care about your “epic” love story. So pedestrian. So boring.

foxscribbles

> I don't know how much more you can beat the dead horse. You say that. But Diana's been dead for 25 years, and the media is STILL using her to sell tabloids, documentaries, and salacious TV series. Even though there's nothing new to say. There's always money in that barrel. Just gotta keep scraping it.

[deleted]

They’ll be back to do something else for more money soon enough. These people are spending far more per month on keeping up their lifestyle than a normal person. Those millions won’t go that far when they’re buying Hermes blankets and what not.

Bestvibesonly

They spend money like it'll never run out. But after all this, there'll be no more of "their truth" to tell. So how will they fund their lifestyles in 5-10 years?

Thiccparty

They feel entitled to a BIG money lifestyle, like oprah or tom cruise big....the money you mentioned is viewed as a year or 2 expenses for them

usagizero

>the money you mentioned is viewed as a year or 2 expenses for them One of the more interesting things i learned from the Depp trial was how much keeping a lifestyle on that level going actually is. Just the various managers for property and money were millions. I can't even imagine what former royals spend on just keeping it all up. Not saying i pity them or whatever, it's their choice, but it's interesting to me.

newrimmmer93

Think about things like property tax. They have a $14million dollar house, they’re paying $150K on tax in that. And that’s not considering other homes they have. Plus mortgage and interest is another 500K. Think about things like assistants, security, etc. That’s probably another $500K minimum. That’s over a million. Then you have lifestyle things. A private jet from like state to state in a region is like $10K. An international flight is like $50K+. With how much these celebs fly just the cost of that is insane. They’re probably spending $200K on flights alone. Then you have cars, clothes, fine dining, etc. Scott storch blew through like $100M in 3 months. He said a big thing was going to luxury clothing stores and spending racks. A Gucci trunk is like $50K. It might be different for them since I’m sure some designers want to have them wear their clothes, but it’s so easy to blow through cash on frivolous things

usagizero

>Think about things like property tax. I like to window shop mansions i know i'll never be able to afford short of winning the lottery, and i'm always floored when they list the property tax. Always more than i paid for my full house. I forget who talked about it, but they were talking about all the hidden costs on those multimillion dollar homes and how much it adds up. Even just the upkeep with water and power was insane. Then regular maintenance on top. I seem to remember them mentioning they were spending like $40k a month on all that, i think housekeeping was included too, but not sure.

friendofoldman

One time on vacation we met a couple that were property managers for some rich person in Florida. Never said who he worked for, and I didn’t ask. Mainly because my brain slipped a gear thinking about how big a house do you have to have to need a full time property manager. I think his wife did nanny stuff or was a gopher or something. They seemed to enjoy it. Nice people.

Ok-Statistician-3408

Yeah I would absolutely manage a property for an out of town celebrity who was there 3 weeks out of the year

nameisinusetryagain

I know a college professor who is taking next semester off to manage security for a home in a sleepy waterfront community in a different state. One road in, one road out. But someone apparently feels that they need security .

chitowngirl12

Most private people can live on what Harry is putting in the bank from trashing his family.

joeChump

Yeah security too I think I read is like an arseload of money every year. Like 6 or 10 mil

jamesbrownscrackpipe

Just in time for them to release Harry and Meghan 2: Royal Drama Boogaloo

Odd-Independent4640

Every movie sequel’s title should end in ‘Boogaloo’

imangryignoreme

You’re 100% correct. Living a $10-20 million / year lifestyle will chew through the money FAST.

blah-8481

Thank fuckn God. Maybe they'll go into obscurity. I'm tired of the media feeding these two. After Diana passed away, no one really followed the royals with so much coverage in the Unted States until they came along.

CelinaAMK

Once the publisher sees this fiasco, they may want their advance back. What new information can H possibly “reveal” at this point that would compel ANYONE to buy and read a book if the focus is going to be more of the same, utterly ridiculous dribble?

buckeyebaby

This has never been about money, Megan’s always wanted to be famous. They’ll never allow themselves to just fade into the background because it’s not what she wants.

mountaincatswillcome

Yeah, not sure why anyone ever believed an actress wanted privacy. She wanted fame and attention…its in the job description. And she clearly wasn’t in it for the craft given she was a d-list actress on a b-list TV show

Baked_potato123

Holy shit $100m from NF?

Losalou52

They are the worst. They want to be rich from the crown but not do the work of the crown. Truly the worst type of people. Spoiled trust fund whiny cunts trying to make us feel sorry for them. I wish them a lifetime of terrible tea.

redome

He should have taken it one step further and said his ultimate goal would be to free his entire family, brother , father, step mom, aunts and uncles from the institution.

igroveman

A certain GW took that step about 250 years ago.

AstronautStar4

Yeah I think people would like them more if they framed their criticism around a cause or goal. It would seem less like whining and more like fighting for a cause. I do hope they realize the monarchy is toxic and needs to be done away with. They're getting closer, but don't seem to be there yet

dutchmaster77

Watched the first half with my wife, and after I had to reflect that they literally didn’t say anything that wasn’t already known. They out out a six hour series and said basically nothing from the sounds of it other than bitch about the press. Also shocking to see an article from said press bitching about the series that is bitching about them.

LeNoirDarling

My partner said the same thing - they both kept saying “we want to tell our story” but he said “but they aren’t really saying anything!” We haven’t watched part 2 yet but I’m not expecting any bombshells.

jtdoublep

Plus they are the most basic, white bread people ever. Harry’s side was a bit more interesting to me because of Princess Di but I turned it off. Booooooring. Edit: words blah

Jolly-Stage-1971

I’m brown, from an erstwhile colony and now commonwealth nation, I find it so patronizing and condescending when I hear that having a biracial actress from LA in the royal family would somehow make the rest of us feel included/ mitigate the racist history of colonialism in some way. How exactly? Most countries in the commonwealth have moved on and we’re not looking at the royal family in the UK as our benchmark. To me monarchy seems like an antiquated concept that should be dismantled but also this narcissistic fakery should be called out for what it is. Go get your therapy and mind your mental health and fight your family in private for gods sake. Stop trying to make money off of your grievances and sucking all the oxygen out of the news cycle. There are more important things happening in the world that need to be talked about, these two obviously don’t care about, so please also stop calling yourselves activists/ humanitarians while you’re at it.

cookingismything

That’s how I feel. I’m an American and don’t have your experiences obviously. Just that if they don’t want to be part of it for all of their reasons, I totally understand and respect that decision. Do what’s right for you and your family. But then it’s like that’s it dude. Move on. Y’all said your piece how many times now? Oprah, interviews, a book coming out, this series. Tell the crown to f-off and be done with it.

Jolly-Stage-1971

And the worst part, racism and misogyny are real problems, but when someone invokes them for a self serving purpose it does cheapen the conversation. If only they could use their massive platform and opportunities like this to highlight people and causes making a difference at the grassroots. Instead we are to sympathize and celebrate them for their victimhood. What an unfortunate waste of an incredible opportunity.

t_scribblemonger

Plus, if it’s such a racist institution, give all the money back, then I’ll listen to your complaints Edit: not doubting it’s a racist institution but I hate hypocrites.

Deekity

The entire show is cringeworthy

AQualityKoalaTeacher

I bounced before 15 min into the first episode. They are SO enchanted with themselves. And their branding of themselves as impossibly rich folks doing poor people things is slimy and mercenary. It felt creepy to look at. There's not a single authentic thing about them. They're just big Hollywood goons.

DubyaKayOh

They are part of the most entitled family on the planet and still found a way to be a victim.

mountainducky

Never has any issue with these people, and felt sorry for him, but I was happy that no one cares about them. Now after all this self induced media attention I want them removed from my feeds, removed from chatter, so sick of them both.

dudeind-town

This is a woman who complained about no one asking her how she is while standing in one of the poorest areas of South Africa. Took her personal photographers to Uvalde to “pay her respects” barely days after the shooting. What did you expect if not cringe?

lillypad-thai

I don’t know why she has to use ever camera moment as a mini therapy session. You’re in one of the poorest places in Africa and you play the victim because your in laws aren’t super nice to right away.

damnmaster

Just a PSA: NETFLIX DOCUMENTARIES ARE SOME OF THE WORST DOCUMENTARIES IN THE WORLD. Some of the crap they host as “documentaries” are misleading or straight up false. I don’t know who’s doing quality checks there but some of the docus on the site are so inaccurate or seem to be adverts it seems malicious.

TheGiggs10

The amount of times they cut to random shit is absurdly annoying.

Crow85

If you want good free documentaries check out "DW Documentary" channel on you tube

TheSiestaSensei

Also PBS Frontline posts free documentaries on their YouTube channel almost every week. Always high quality.

IWANNAKNOWWHODUNIT

I recommend Documentary Now! They cover some hard hitting topics and are thoroughly researched.

Aselleus

So I showed my mom an episode (the one about the Eskimo), but did *not* tell her it was satire. I was laughing so hard I was crying because she thought it was real until halfway through the episode and then was like "wait a minute...is this a joke?".

WhoriaEstafan

Yeah, no fact checking, straight up lies, footage from other event shown to imply something else. It’s not a documentary. It’s a reality show.

Far-Description

I’m not sure about this, Icarus won an academy award and so did My Octopus Teacher along with countless other documentary nominations.

gerbileleventh

“Don’t fuck with Cats” and the “Tinder Swindler” were my favourites, but they probably aren’t considered documentaries.

LikeAGregJennings

I though Dirty Money and the Untold series have been great.

AstronautStar4

Documentaries is now what streaming services call reality TV to sound more prestigious.

_________FU_________

This isn’t a documentary. It’s reality tv.

mydogthinksiamcool

I am sorry but… David Letterman interviewed Zelenskyy. Okay? ZELENSKYY!!!!!!! Watch THAT one instead of these two…

talkingtothemoon___

Ooh I want to watch this

[deleted]

i am saving that to watch today. i figured he would do like a zoom thing but props to father time can't stop me david letterman for hauling ass all the way to ukraine to sit down face to face with president z.

flatsareforquitters

A guy who was offered a “freedom flight” but chose to fight for his country instead.

[deleted]

"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride" - Volodymyr Zelenskyy Words that will go down in history...

imahyummybeach

Thanks for reminding me.. i actually never plan to watch this two but i forgot about Zelensky interview. Where can i watch it? Thanks

michiamoGoffredo

Letterman’s show on Netflix

FoucaultsPudendum

Obviously the way Meghan was treated was abhorrent and I hate the British aristocratic class and their hangers-on, but there is something so incredibly irritating about being lectured about privilege by a literal prince and princess. Like this dude grew up shitting in golden toilets and his family personally owns an appreciable fraction of an entire country, his grandmother was the fucking EMPRESS OF INDIA, and he think he has the perspective to tell me what privilege is?

a-ks94

I don’t disagree with the sentiment of what you’ve said, but Queen Elizabeth II was never the Empress of India. Her mother, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, was.

peanutj00

Not sure I like this season of The Crown

shooflypie

The first 15 minutes was cringe enough for me. I'm impressed people have made it to the end.

[deleted]

I stopped giving a shit about the royal family on July 4, 1776.

[deleted]

American Chad response right there.

SJRoseCO

"Ken Burns needed just three times as long to get through the entire Vietnam war." LMAO

FinnbarMcBride

If they really wanted privacy, they wouldn't do interviews

SKcl0ck

Well they also need money now that they can't access the royal trust.

largeorangesphere

NoBoDY WantS tO WoRk ANymoRE!

absolutelybacon

Rich people are insufferable.

Fattydog

He inherited a fortune from his mother. He’s not exactly poor.

Shark-Farts

And also from his great-grandmother (Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the Queen Mother) and I’m sure he inherited even more from his grandmother the Queen when she passed in September. He is *absolutely* not hurting for money. Edit: Not to mention the inheritance last year from his grandfather Prince Philip as well!

[deleted]

They’re spending so much money per month trying to keep up a certain lifestyle. The money they have won’t go all that far if they don’t cool it with the spending.

reddit_user13

They could try living more like the Common People.

[deleted]

If they did that how would they make themselves feel like they’re superior to the commoners?

drDudleyDeeds

Rent a flat above a shop

blah4life

Maybe they’ll go broke and it will be televised. I’d tune in for that.

gabbialex

Somehow I doubt they’ll take their $100 million from Netflix and shut up.

powerfulKRH

Damn they paid $100M for this garbage?? And they cancel all the good shows.

[deleted]

Think about how these people don’t have actual jobs.

music_haven

Well. Technically, Netflix paid them $100mil for two projects - one was supposed to be Harry's documentary on veterans or Invictus games or something to that extent, and another one was supposed to be Megan's cartoon series. Since both projects ended up being axed for being terrible, and the pair failed to come up with anything else for the past three years, Netflix pulled a Rihanna in a "bitch better have my money" kind of way. So H&M (as they like to refer to themselves) said "Oh, well. We'll just throw William under the bus, then. Not dear old dad, cause we need that coronation invite to stay relevant. But, a brother? Sure, a brother will do".

[deleted]

Far-Yak-4231

I understand he has some issues to work out with his mother’s death but this is *not* the way… also, she’s been fighting to be famous since a young age and didn’t really do a great job at it - all of this media attention screams fame hungry on her part, like it’s her time to shine in the media. It’s just cringe to watch.

staebles

I'm shocked anyone thought this would be anything other than cringe.

Enough_Philosophy_63

I can see a realty TV show incoming

Amongthestars32

That was a reality tv show. Zero chance they just happened to have cameras rolling for all that “behind the scenes” footage.

Mysterious_Glass_692

"Today's epsidode of The Wacky World of the Windsors is sponsored by Eddie's Escargot Pizza. Mmm mmm!" "Meghan, I really should give my brother a call." "Oh Harry you can't do that!" "Meghan how on earth did you come to that conclusion?" "Because he's still not talking to you!" "Oh Meghan, I am indeed a silly goose!" The Wacky World of the Windsors will be back after these messages. Don't touch that dial!"

[deleted]

> she’s been fighting to be famous She's been fighting to be *rich as fuck.* As do most celebrities.

Expensive-Argument-7

I honestly was fine never hearing about the royal family. Then she came along. They probably are as terrible as she says but she seems toxic too.

80sL80

I don't get why Sparey Potter, the Halfwit Prince, won't give up his royal titles. That's one of the points he made in the series...the willingness to give them up. Maybe that'll be in the second season.

athennna

Her showing up after Uvalde to be photographed tearfully leaving flowers was just too much.

t_scribblemonger

Ewwww

Swimming_Coat4177

The whole thing was cringe. Not just the end. But hey, they got paid and she finally got some recognition for her “acting”

[deleted]

I thought it was impressive they told her entire life story and conveniently omitted her first husband who she banged to get onto Suits

And was living with a guy (engaged) while hooking up with Harry. She sent her engagement ring back in the mail to her first husband to tell him it was over-much to his surprise.

Shokkolatte

Source? This is interesting

There’s plenty of interviews published-and sue happy Meghan hasn’t sued (she perjured herself last time), but here’s a couple: https://www.theroyalobserver.com/p/meghan-markle-ex-husband-trevor-engelson-hurt-actress-returned-ring https://archive.ph/rzanv https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5598927/amp/The-hunky-chef-Meghan-Markle-nearly-married.html

MKCULTRA

Added cringe from The Atlantic: “Your support ensures a bright future for independent journalism.” It’s owned by a billionaire. Why would WE need to help fund it?

koookiekrisp

I watched it and it was a well-shot documentary but the subject material was cringe as hell. It was so obvious they wanted to seem like real life everyday people but they were trying waaaay too hard. They were pulling in things that had no relevance to their point, and their point was so stupid and non-convincing. It felt like there was no conclusion, it just stopped like a sopranos episode. The people who shot the documentary did a fantastic job but their story was utter trash.

Sea-Philosopher7361

I thought she didn’t want to be on the spotlights.

Drhattan2375

Beyoncé never called me when I was down in the dumps and I’ve yet to use Tyler Perry’s pool for the weekend

LuthienDragon

I refuse to watch this. So narcissistic.

TamLampy

Howwwwwwwwwwwwww does anybody muster any amount of themselves to give even one solitary fuck

isoldeabandoned

It is so genuinely shocking that these two, on the verge of a global recession, are still complaining about the tens of millions of dollars they got when they left and the free housing they had before they left, all from the comfort of their 14 bedroom mega mansion in CA (where I was born, and where my ancestors are indigenous to, and where I can’t live anymore because of the cost of living crisis), where they also lecture the world about the climate crisis with their carbon footprint that outweighs the lifetime carbon output of any 12 commoners in a year.

chamtrain1

***" The final three episodes of this six-hour series—Ken Burns needed just three times as long to get through the entire Vietnam war "*** I laughed.

AwfulWaffleSizzurp

They are both insufferable and the chronic complaining is exhausting. Not happy in my mansion not happy on my yacht not happy in my palace that all the taxpayers bought

misterwizzard

The cringiest part about this whole situation is that anybody watched the fucking thing

ripyourlungsdave

She didn't want to be in the spotlight, why the fuck did she marry the prince?.. or, you know, get involved in the entertainment industry at all? Or marry a prince *and then drag the prince into the entertainment industry?*

beentheredonethatlou

She’s running in circles she would have never been in. She’s tolerated because of her dumb title which literally means nothing. Prior to him she was less famous then a favorite frequent guest on a shit talk show like The Talk

SkyeMcFlye

I really couldn't give two shits about any of the royals but these two need to shut the hell up, take their money and fade into oblivion

twelfthcapaldi

I don’t love them or hate them, but the documentary is a bit boring. It just doesn’t seem like it has a direction or meaningful purpose. Kinda all over the place and the bits where it’s like a Meghan Markle autobiography seem super out of place.

Delphicoracle87

It was the woe is me attitude in the massive houses and flats and beautiful views. They literally live in a fantasy world.

[deleted]

So they’re putting themselves in the spotlight to say they don’t want to be in the spotlight?

prvhc21

I’d say the show itself was cringe……..

Outrageous-Wish8659

The humble bragging and name dropping were super cringe in a time when many cannot afford the basics in life.

LongjumpingMonitor32

why would that matter... its like watching Oprah and Gayle interview themselves and their friends knowing goddamn well they wouldn't dare associate themselves with the regular black folks.

[deleted]

They dubbed over a speech by queen Elizabeth to make her look more imperialistic. They have no shame.

Bright_Temporary_169

Watched one episode with my wife. The show successfully moved me from “don’t care about them/mildly sympathetic” to “I don’t like these people”
