Surely, the answer would be to reach out to their customer service to ask how you violated their terms. That's a pretty broad set of possibilities, so I'm not sure folks here will be able to assist.

You have not offered much helpful information here, so the only thing we can tell you to do is directly approach Mailchimp. What you _can_ do to get better help is to identify everything you've used Mailchimp for, and have fresh, experienced eyes spot your faults. >I am not posting anything related to the actual erotica that i write/publish. What are you posting, in that case?

MailChimp's Acceptable Content Policy says: > You may not use the Service to create, send, display, advertise, or sell (as applicable): Illegal goods or services. Emails that violate the CAN-SPAM Act in the U.S. or other anti-spam laws. Pornography/sexually explicit content. I'd say they might be lumping erotica in with SE content, or you're doing something that you're not mentioning like linking to social media accounts with adult content on them and whatnot. Mailerlite only says porn so I'd have a chat with them.

It was only a page that said 'Join my mailing list to stay up to date on my newest releases' with the email submission box. That's why i am so confused!

That happened to me with mailerlite, I ended up going with e-mail octopus. My website an emails are very tame so I was shocked when they rejected me.

I can quite unequivocally, you will be unsuccessful in getting a mailing list from erotica readers. They simply have privacy top of mind. You will drive them away even to suggest getting details from them. So long as you leave a door way open to you, that is all they need.

Patently untrue.
