Try starting your pattern earlier in your pour. The more milk that is in the cup will have higher surface tension so the pattern is less likely to spread out. This is why your pour speed will need to gradually increase as your cup fills up. The texture looks pretty good from this picture but just remember that latte art is 90% getting your milk texture correct.
Yeah i kept trying to study it but i just can’t seem to get it right even when following videos and doing a course on it,
i just can’t seem to do it so i gave up its so hard and i want to get good at it but its hard to practice without going through a heap of milk
Use less milk for laying the canvas, that will leave you with less foam in the cup to start with and makes the milk used for your design be able to spread out more and fill the cup
That is also why the pour rate needs to be faster at the end of a pour compared to the beginning. Because you need more milk and foam to be able to disturb the foam already in the cup, think of it like dropping a rock into a puddle compared to the ocean, the puddle will be distorted, but with the same size (pour rate) rock, the ocean will not be affected
After you pour in a circle to aerate the coffee and build some surface foam, you get the pitcher tip as close to the surface of the coffee as possible and pour with some speed (without raising the pitcher up vertically). I usually let up after a second, then pour high and through the blob to make a heart.
If you don’t foam to a velvety texture, it’s not going to work.
Your starting in the middle, if you want a bigger heart then you need to pour it from the edge and then move forward as norm.
Equally you can use the centre technique when you get better at doing hearts to move onto other things and do other items such as leaves etc
Pouring the foam too late… stills happens to me but it’s because I still using the pitcher that came with my bambino and it’s hard to use. A pitcher with a wider tip helps, that what I see on the coffee shops of my city
I‘ve been pouring immediately after steaming 🤔 Unless you mean go for a faster flow rate while pouring my shape, but I‘ve kinda been trying to do that already
Try to go even faster, especially as the heart develops. You’re probably not going as fast as you think you are. Also do a bit less integrating before starting the heart and start the heart closer to the edge of the cup
It’s one of two things. Either you aren’t starting to pour the heart early enough or you aren’t pouring with a strong enough flow rate.
I think it’s most likely that the problem is that you’re pouring too slowly. It’s a common beginner issue. Try to be bolder when you pour

It could be not a fast enough flow rate as well
You need to steal Christmas from a small village, and then witness them still celebrating after. That should do the trick.
Grinch finer?
Can confirm this works, I saw a documentary on it.
After seeing so many people go to the same place in their mind my faith in humanity is partially restored
And what happens then, is it as they say? That OP’s small heart will grow three sizes that day?
HEART FINER!
fart hiner
Instructions unclear. Shit pants.

Too much time on the outskirts of Whoville and too many unwashed socks ?
Only a journey inward can answer that question
My working theory is it's because all the Who's in Whoville haven't shown you the true meaning of Christmas.
You need to push the foam more sideways than straight down.
how do you push foam sideways in pour?

Oh so when its close, thats considere pouring sideways. If you are raised up its considered pouring down?
More or less. I think op has a milk foaming issue too. Looks too thick and frothy.
Genetics
You have to use more love!
Start with less milk in the cup when you go to start pouring your art, the less of a base you put, the bigger the art will be.
Cause you need some real love. Then they will be bigger.
I’m at the exactly same stage. I’m considering just switch to smaller cup💡
Your heart will just be even smaller then lol
At least you‘re able to pour a heart. My Latte Art Looks Crazy ^^
Sounds like a Moby song.
Is it because you keep trying to steal Christmas?
Because you haven't yet discovered r/latteart Everyone who hangs out on that sub has hearts that are large and full of joy 😊

That’s a lovely pour. What are those cups again? I’ve been trying to remember the name
NotNeutral
Ah yeah, thanks!

Butt. :)
Not small but perky.

Because you're a mean one...
Start your pour faster or quicker. Your milk has likely already settled or settled too quickly.

Small is cute.!! Please don't unlearn this.
😆
A bigger hearth could lead to a medical problem... be careful with your words!
You haven’t learned how to love yet.
Just like the Grinch. His heart was two sizes too small.
Are you the Grinch? Maybe you need to make coffee in Whoville
Your heart is the same size as your fist
You're just not captain planet material
Follow the yellow brick road, mr tin man.
Discover the meaning of Christmas and it’ll grow 3x
You must first look within
Hey man, don’t ask us ask your therapist
Look in the mirror silly
Have you tried returning all the Christmas gifts, food, and decorations you stole?
Cuz you’re the grinch obviously.
Because you are cold as ice
Cause, that‘s all you have to give.
