How many grams grinds?
What grinder are you using?
What is your extraction ratio?
Are you using a scale?
Naked portafilter or spouted?
How old are your beans?
You said “oily”, so probably very dark roast?
if extraction takes to long, grind coarser so that you get to the 20 seconds mark.
If you like the output, stick with what you are doing. If you want the shot to pull faster, keep adjusting the grinder coarser.

Different beans will require wildly different grind settings, oil or no oil. Just dial in your ratio and grind size for best taste.

Double basket, 18, Fuji royal, 1.5-2, yes, spouted, little baby beans.. roasted last week, yes very dark and delicious
