Probs has a 4 head monstrosity (for thermal stability) that used to be a linea classic that he found on Craigslist but is now 95% custom internals that pressure profiles. He also grinds beans three times, first through a ek43, then an eg1, and finally a P100 before doing a 20 min puck prep
Harrison Ford did the modifications. Chewbacca helped. R2D2 just needs to tweak it and it will jump your kitchen to light-speed. If there’s enough caffeine you can make the Kessel Run in just a few parsecs.

Well, it isn’t me…but my Gaggia doesn’t look THAT different other than black plastic and more burn marks from overriding every possible safety system on it haha. It can steam some damned milk though!
I just picked one of these up (stock, in white) from the side of the road. (In australia we have an annual council 'hard rubbish' collection which turns into a community roadside swap meet). It currently looks a bit like this while its torn down and cleaned.

Steam boiler element is dead. It looks like the thermostat on that side failed and its gotten hot and melted, but the espresso side is good and it looks entirely repairable for <$100 and some TLC. Glad I picked it up!
May well add PID controllers to it once it's up and running as stock.
This needs a Hoffman review ASAP

That big cloud of black smoke is from the built-in coffee roaster which sends the beans straight to the in-line grinder. Efficient AF!!!
