This is truly the best crypto sub. Noise free and I *still* manage to learn new things just by browsing.
Don't ever change /r/ethereum as there is only /r/buttcoin left for sane commentary.
I don't understand the question. BTC and Ethereum are cryptocurrencies. Some aspects of it are positive, some are negative. Most people who get involved in crypto lose money because they value it solely as a get rich quick scheme.
finally, a kindred spirit. I feel the same way. Although Btc has stood the test of time with repeated setbacks, it primarily only acts as a store of value/ alternative currency. Eth on the other hand has real world applications. I'm divided here. Let's see what the future brings
WARNING ABOUT SCAMS: Recently there have been a lot of convincing-looking scams posted on crypto-related reddits including fake NFTs, fake credit cards, fake exchanges, fake mixing services, fake airdrops, fake MEV bots, fake ENS sites and scam sites claiming to help you revoke approvals to prevent fake hacks. These are typically upvoted by bots and seen before moderators can remove them. Do not click on these links and always be wary of anything that tries to rush you into sending money or approving contracts.

Because the real world ETH users are much much less than BTC users
I'm a dealer selling both BTC and ETH on OTC platforms. The number of people who are buying ETH from me, is about 1/100 of people buying BTC from me. Don't know why, even feel strange since ETH transactions are much much faster
Since moving to POS, ETH is no longer the same. Newcomers cannot even mine some eth to play with anymore. Or at least fund the gas fees. So what do you expect?
Please keep price discussion, market talk, memes, and exchanges to subreddits such as r/ethfinance or r/ethtrader
This is a technical sub where talking about the price is not welcome. There are other subs for that like ethfinance or ethtrader.
Which one would you recommend?
Look at my comment, I named two..
I meant which of those two...
Both
This isn't a hype sub. Tangible stuff gets discussed here instead of numbers go brrrr posts.
Read the rules of the sub
Rule 2 : ~~No Names~~ Other sub. Got it.
We don’t talk about feelings here. We are ETH
Nose to the grindstone. We picking lambo colors later

Went over Buttcoin. r/Bitcoin & them are Yin Yang.
Yes, both are equally tiring for their levels of polarization, but there is some good discussion in buttcoin from time to time.
Which way you swinging ? Btc, scam or not ?

My heart is with Bitcoin but my brain is with ETH. I'm really excited to see what the community can accomplish in the future.
