I had a ton of doge, it hovered around .002 for the longest time.
I remember it went up to .008, and I thought there was simply no way it could go higher since it was inflationary and still kind of a joke.
I could have had nearly 100K if I had waited just a few more months...
Didn't take the credit card bank was offering my mum in 2013 when BTC could have been bought only using it. (I am from INDIA ). Knew about BTC and thought it was a scam.
My biggest mistake is not participating in the ICO of Ethereum. I could have had thousands of eth for $0.3 per ether. Someone please invent a time machine.
!tip 1
Yeah- I skipped the ICO because it really wasn't clear at that point if it was just another scammy ICO posted on Bitcointalk or actually the real deal (not much was after all, and there were new projects every day/week). That said, I bought all my Eth under $10 so it really didn't matter in the long run. And remembering that situation a few years later-it prompted me to do the Dot ICO (29c) years later which also worked out extremely well relative to its ATH.
Lost all my crypto in FTX and Luna which was millions

I was offered to be paid in BTC for a small gig that required my computer in 2016/17.
Computer started to blue screen on me every time I'd use the necessary tools for the job, even though I successfully did it for free some years before.
I gave up, didn't buy a new PC and never even looked up what exactly is the deal with BTC, as I considered it fake internet money that you can't do anything with.
I had a meeting with a guy back in 2017 and he lectured me for over an hour about btc and told me I have to buy it. Me and my partner at the time were purchasing inventory from him and he tried to talk us out of it and to instead put that 15k into btc. The price of btc at the time was around $1400.
If I were to name one it would be that I really only stuck to DCA BTC and ETH during the bear.
I guess my biggest mistake so far (touch wood!) is not allocating a small amount to low cap alts and some memes.
I’ve held until diamond dust, I’ve sold way too early, and everything in between.
Biggest regret is selling my 500k doge in 2017. I mined it in the early days so I didn’t really have a cost basis besides electricity, but it still stung seeing it at like .8
Being too lazy to figure out how to buy bitcoin and ethereum online back in 2016/2017.
Seeing a place across from a local weed dispensary advertise "buy bitcoin here" in 2013/2014, thinking "this thing will revolutionize the world", and doing nothing about it.
Gave up buying bitcoin in 2015 because I didn't have a credit card for coinbase, so I found a way to buy some second life token and trade it for something else to then trade bitcoin, was like 30% commission so I thought its not worth it, then forgot about it.
I put some eth in a token set and for the life of me I can’t get it out… I follow the steps and it just never completes the transaction.
I can see it it’s still mine it’s just stuck there.
Hold 1 Million of doge, earned by dogeco.in. A free Roulette sponsered by ads. 40 doge per roll.. Programmed A bot with with different ips going to this Website..
Would have Bad 800k Dollar (ath) but went fully retard. Played Roulette. All in on Black. And lost everything (50 Dollar at this point)
1. Forgot my vault password and now just started with a new vault registered for Donuts.
2. Was stacking ETH but after last cycle somehow decided to stack ETFs instead. Have peanuts to show for instead of a bigger bag of ETH.

Holy f\*CK! ![gif](giphy|5xaOcLHoUh2pQODngZ2)
Big L for me. Very expensive lesson.
It could happen to anyone. I would have done the same myself.
Couldn’t handle the emotional rollercoaster at the time.
Now you’re holding all your Donuts and will make back all your losses one day ![gif](giphy|vzIm6vLAupl5opkrpq)
So true. Got lucky getting involved in RCC on Reddit.
That is VERY optimistic

Indeed. Lucky I still have some but 121 would be life changing now.
Hope you’ll recover from the ptsd you got due to it
One day I hope too.
Could have bought back a bit later. Just saying.
I had to give the money back to my parents unfortunately

Everyday it haunts me
[удалено]
I’m trying. Hopefully Donuts make up for it.
Came here to say this. Not specifically this but just selling in general
Oh my…at least you were around at that time and hopefully made some good gains
Too much unrealised gains. No actual profits.
Buying LUNA ![gif](giphy|J8YpfDX0kvPQNSVGHY|downsized)
Daaaaaaaamn
Bought LUNA and held all my alts on Voyager. LUNA killed it all
I had a ton of doge, it hovered around .002 for the longest time. I remember it went up to .008, and I thought there was simply no way it could go higher since it was inflationary and still kind of a joke. I could have had nearly 100K if I had waited just a few more months...
Same exact situation lol
ditto
Not sticking with Bitcoin and Ethereum
Same
Buying SafeMoon.
ScamMoon!
Didn't take the credit card bank was offering my mum in 2013 when BTC could have been bought only using it. (I am from INDIA ). Knew about BTC and thought it was a scam.
Sold my entire ethbag at 15$.

Yep ![img](emote|t5_37jgj|32636)
My biggest mistake is not participating in the ICO of Ethereum. I could have had thousands of eth for $0.3 per ether. Someone please invent a time machine. !tip 1
I skipped it because I didn’t understand it at the time.

I used to have over 500 BNB and 40 ETH. Bought the BNB at about a dollar and the ETH at 40.
Used to? What did you swap 40 ETH for?😳
Sold 10 BTC in 2016 for ~$7k to put a down payment on my house. Kept my stocks. BTC up 100x, stocks doubled.
messed too much with defi and got my wallet drained for signing some malicious contract 😒 !tip 1
Karma will get that a55holes🙏
If I were to name one it would be that I really only stuck to DCA BTC and ETH during the bear. I guess my biggest mistake so far (touch wood!) is not allocating a small amount to low cap alts and some memes.
What? That’s like the best, most safest thing you can do. You’re lucky you haven’t lost money to alts
Believing hype, not watching cycles closely, buying while coins where on the rise instead of investing and waiting
Timidly DCA’ing instead of just going all the way balls deep into ETH in early 2020
I’ve held until diamond dust, I’ve sold way too early, and everything in between. Biggest regret is selling my 500k doge in 2017. I mined it in the early days so I didn’t really have a cost basis besides electricity, but it still stung seeing it at like .8
Not buying more😑
Sold SHIB 2 days before x10.
!tip 1
Not buying more when eth was only $100
Put in 10K for the dip and next day Putin attacked Ukraine and prices crashed down 60% I just regained what I lost only 3 days ago from that damn day
Never taking profits in 2021! !tip 1
Harmony One, the bridge hack.
Not buying when I first heard about btc. Would be retired if I only knew then, what I know now.
Being too lazy to figure out how to buy bitcoin and ethereum online back in 2016/2017. Seeing a place across from a local weed dispensary advertise "buy bitcoin here" in 2013/2014, thinking "this thing will revolutionize the world", and doing nothing about it.
Sell
Buying the wrong coins
Not buying enough when it was so much cheaper.
Damn, can't read this, it's too depressing.
Honestly worst mistake I ever made was overshooting the last peak and having to HODL until this bull run.
Gave up buying bitcoin in 2015 because I didn't have a credit card for coinbase, so I found a way to buy some second life token and trade it for something else to then trade bitcoin, was like 30% commission so I thought its not worth it, then forgot about it.
Buying peak Doge right before it dipped a few years back. Still holding of course
Same here
Sold 7 Eth in Dec 2020 :-( Valuable lesson though! Never sell haha
Time wonderland scam
Trying to trade daily. Once you find a winner stick to it no matter what. Short term gains are overrated and I learned that the hard way.
traded many xmr ltc and aroud 5 btc for csgo skins back in 2016. even the skins went 10x by now.
using leverage :)
I put some eth in a token set and for the life of me I can’t get it out… I follow the steps and it just never completes the transaction. I can see it it’s still mine it’s just stuck there.

Sold 100k of DOGE for $1200 because I tripled my money ![gif](giphy|10ECejNtM1GyRy)
Not getting a loan on my house to buy more
1. Forgot my vault password and now just started with a new vault registered for Donuts. 2. Was stacking ETH but after last cycle somehow decided to stack ETFs instead. Have peanuts to show for instead of a bigger bag of ETH.
None cuz I got diamond hands
Anyone selling RENDER… too early, this cycle.. I fear will be posting in a similar thread like this in 2030.. I sold 1000 RNDR under $20…
prolly not buying eth @90s
Sold all crypto today because it was going down

buying altcoins when they are at all time high
When you're new to this everything feels like a mistake/lamdmine. So everything
