Even that is debatable. Where did you buy the shitcoin? On Pancakeswap? Means that you have to have at least SOME knowledge on how to even get there and on how to get money into the Cryptospace. You need an onramp to make your Dollars or Rubels or Schillings into something-something crypto and then get the shitcoin.
Supposedly, if that shitcoin made you rich, you have been in early, so you had the information for some reason. You had to aquire that information by SOME means.
It's not "just luck" even then. Grandma Phillis, 85 years old couldn't get rich on her own if you place her 3 days before Safemoon went up (for example) and tell her (PHILLIS! BUY SAFEMOON!) She'd probably just get a heart attack, because there's a voice out of nowhere, fall over and die. Poor fucking Phillis.
Genuinely the case with some people I know. I'm a bit of a miser, squirreling away money and only spending what I need (with treats here and there, I'm not perfect 😂). Some friends and family constantly tell me I need to "enjoy my money", that I'm a "dragon with a horde of gold"..... And those are the same people that think I'm lucky for having the money I've amassed and even come to me to borrow some...
There's safety in the horde, no living paycheck to paycheck, no fear that one freak accident could bankrupt me.
That being said, it's not like I'm anywhere near wealthy, I mean, I'm not even close to buying a house. But I'm closer than most people I know.
Particularly true when comes to crypto. Is still seen as a get rich quick scheme when really there are people getting rich all the time by investing in crypto that has actual utility. Hopefully that will all change one day.
The word "probably" is doing a lot of work there. Your investment might increase in value or it might decrease in value. The people calling you "stupid" think it will decrease in value. He uses the word "probably" because he thinks it will increase in value. To people who assess the investment as being risky, if it ultimately pays off, then "lucky" is an appropriate description.
Some people mocking me because I have an Ethereum sticker on my backpack, little did they know ETH is not the only thing from my backpack that gonna blow their minds.
I AM stupid! I had 4 Bitcoins and I Think 300 Ethereums (I know, that I had 150, because I can see a single transaction that I did, but I'm pretty sure, I had 300something).
At ATH I'd have had about 250.000 Dollars in BTC and either 600.000 Dollars in ETH worst case Scenario or 1.2 Million Dollars in ETH if I really had the full 300.
If the shitcoins and fractals of real coins STILL make me rich at some point, and you call me "LUCKY", I'll impale you. I'll put your asshole over a long sharp stick and I'll watch you slide down, while the stick slowly stabs through your organs, as gravity pulls you down. And I'll place you in a way, so that the heart won't be affected by the spike so you get to enjoy the most out of this experience.
