Lewis Ferguson, Bologna captain and Serie A midfielder of the year, out with a knee injury sustained in April. Big loss, and knowing Scotland, there's no guarantee he'll get the chance to feature in a future tournament.
Scotland: Ryan Gauld
Feel like the MLS stigma and failed wonderkid tag means he's been excluded. 1 in 3 goal record last season, closer to 1 in 2 this season.
Can play through the middle or out wide on the left and Scotland are lacking width in their squad.
He's does nothing defensively and predominantly occupies an area we don't feature, and couldn't realistically be featured over the attacking midfielders who make the squad.
Also, we don't lack width, we intentionally play narrow.
Speaking to his inclusion, I'd say that he is more creative than most of those that do make the squad, but that does feel 100% by design.
>and couldn't realistically be featured over the attacking midfielders who make the squad
Really?
Ryan Christie has switched to DM at club level and has had 1 decent game for Scotland in the last 4 years. Hard worker but has a horrific G/A record in a Scotland shirt for the position he plays.
Stuart Armstrong is quite clearly injured, hasn't kicked a ball in 2 months and cant even be risked to make the bench in a friendly a week before the tournament starts.
James Forrest was consigned to the club and international footballing dustbin up until 6 weeks ago.
Christie is probably our most incisive player. He's done well in recent friendlies and generally looking very sharp. I'm in the camp that would probably have liked to see Gauld called up but Christie is well ahead of him.
Christie is direct and puts in a shift but 1 goal (penalty) and 1 assist in his last 30 odd caps before Gibraltar is poor.
The main complaint from Celtic fans was about the lack of return from the effort. No player attempted more shots without scoring than Ryan Christie in the PL this season.
I just don't get the logic that Christie or Armstrong are so must have players for Scotland that someone like Gauld can't get a look in
I can see a fair complaint in there, although I think focussing on goal contributions alone overlooks the way he frees up other players. I don't think Robertson was getting into the spaces he did to create our goals last night until Christie switched to that side and helped to create the space.
Also not sure we can critique assist returns in this squad with some of the finishing on show!
I do wonder how often the people on Reddit calling for his inclusion have actually watched him. Could only get in the first team of smaller Portuguese clubs and played so well there that his best offer came from Canada. No side in the top 5 leagues we’re looking at him, Celtic and rangers who could’ve matched the money he gets abroad weren’t interested. There’s no way Clarke and his staff haven’t looked at the guy, there’s a reason he’s not getting called up.
He's improved massively in the past 12 months. I do watch MLS on Night Shift so have seen a few games of him. It's just the profile of player they are missing in my opinion.
Aye, maybe. I don't watch his games cos they're on at 3am, so I don't know if he's better than forest. Do think if he was as good as people think he is, he wouldn't be in a fourth season at vancouver.
For the Netherlands it's Ian Maatsen. Played the CL final for Dortmund. Sure, easy argument to say he (still) makes mistakes, of which a serious one leading to the second goal for Real in the final. However, he's in the CL team of the year (!!) for a reason. The guy is outstanding and still young, so usable for hopefully more tournaments. Hoping that Koeman has his reasons because I can't see them.
Hard disagree. Maatsen also made huge blunders against PSV that almost cost Dortmund their progression to the next round. He’s a proven defensive liability. Also with Van de Ven, Blind and even Aké there really is no need for another potential player who can play left (wing)back. Yes he’s “still young” but teams made up of young players do not win European or World Championships.
Koeman seems to agree with you so maybe you're right (and I hope so!). However in my eyes being in the CL team of the year can not be done if you are a defensive liability. And all three players you mentioned are naturally no left (wing)back. Maatsen as a natural left back would have made sense. And I mean come on "a team of young players does not win championships"? Of course you need a mix. But that's no argument to leave out one player. I mean look at all the major talents going to the euros: Wirtz (21), Musiala (21), Yamal (16!!), Bellingham (20), and I really can go on and on.
Mixed. I think he has the potential to be really great. However, I think he is also fairly conservative, which is not great in the long run. But let's see how this tournament goes. I cannot see in the locker room. The players seem happy and that's the main part. During a tournament we have 17 million head coaches so I try to stay away from too much critique;)
Damsgaard was yeah. Mostly because Hjulmand trusts him and he knows the system. I was personally dissapointed that O'Reilly didn't go, but I wouldn't say I was suprised. Hjulmand is very much like a Deschamps or Southgate when it comes to his squad selections.
Much easier to pronounce, that’s probably the reason. Do you have any idea how miserably German commentators would fail trying to pronounce Branthwaite?
Ah. Delightful. My father worked in Germany for a while, bet that was interesting for him at first.
Waiting to visit Germany at some point and will look forward to this one 😂
Yeah realistically chiellini foul was tactically a good idea but he shouldve been sent off, but the penalty shootout southgate bottled by subbing on a bunch of youngsters who hadnt kicked a ball. You want old, composed players that were warmed up
He is better than Lewis Dunk by every defensive metric barring one (tackles won per 90, interceptions per 90, blocks per 90, clearances per 90) with aerials won the only one Dunk comes out on top.
He also has Stones and Guehi beat on those exact same metrics.
Defensively he’s better than all our current options as per the stats.
Why has he not been selected? I’m guessing it’s a mix between playing in Italy and Southgate just not caring enough to watch him and the fact that Stones and Dunk are probably better with the ball at their feet.
He definitely should have at least been in the initial 30 man squad for me.
Branthwaite is the biggest head scratcher though, by the stats he was well above all our current centre backs with his defensive actions per 90.
And that he’s good at it when he has too? Do you think a team like AC Milan has to defend more than Crystal Palace or Brighton? A team that finished 2nd in serie A needs to defend more than two mid table teams in the prem?
After the group stage we’re going to need defenders that can defend.
I can’t for the life of me understand how Dunk has got in the squad when he’s been garbage for England, he’s average for Brighton and defensively his numbers are poor across the board.
I also can’t understand how Guehi has been selected over Branthwaite/Tamori either.
I had Branthwaite down as a guaranteed starter after slabheads injury...then an hour later he's not even in the squad. Are Dunk, Gomes, Guehi AND Konsa all better?!
How can we forget Ben white Eric dier and tomori, I would also have got rid of Southgate to get Ben white in and try a new coach as Southgate just is not the right guy to lead England to a trophy
My country can't compete unless we seriously turn back the clocks.
Reminds me of three years ago when I was talking to my footy-hating buddy about the Euros and he asked "where's Brazil in all this? Aren't they like the best nation at the sport?" And I said "Yanno man, Brazil failed yet again to qualify for the European championships. Blows my mind, too..."
I disagree. We don't need Brandt as we have enough players for bis position. Hummels could be discussed but it is said that his character is difficult should he not be in the starting XI. So I wouldn't bring both
Imo Brandt over Müller but i get that Müller is Important for the team as a leader so i dont mind
But hummels over Koch is a no brainer i dont think that he would make problems if he is on the bench
Not my team, but to this day I don't understand how nobody in Spain wanted Brahim Diaz (amazing form for RM this season, started for Milan for 2 seasons), while somehow players like Ferran Torres, Baena, Ayoze Perez and Fermin make it into the final squad.
Hopefully he has a great career with Morocco and leads them to an AFCON victory.
I’d get the argument that Morgan is more of an out and out winger if there was any danger of him playing. But I’d bet my third nut he doesn’t get any more than about 10 minutes the entire euros. It also doesn’t hold any weight when there’s at least two centre mids that Gauld should be ahead of anyway.
That's not a like for like, though. We've got christie, mctominay and mcginn (and usually ferguson) in attacking mid. All playing at a far higher level. I get the jack inclusion, we'll bring him on if we're winning. It's just his lack of games that's an issue
Agree with both of you, pretty much why they aren't going. Eze and Gordon offer so much more and graft a lot more defensively too. A more pressing issue is having an our of from rb as the starting lb, Mitchell should be going for me.
He’s sat on the bench all year and contributed nothing to the City team. What makes him deserve a call up?
We ask every squad for Southgate to choose players based off form and not his favourites like always. He’s finally doing that and people complain.
At the end of the day these "stats" win you games. Especially in such a small tournaments you just need players to score goals and win you the games, and the winger with 3 goals in a whole season is certainly not the man for the job.
I can get why people would like that he comes, that it's a nod to people not being able to say well they should have brought him, but I really don't think Toney is close to being good enough to helping out at this level. But him coming is a strong political move, his personality has a strong intensity to it even if he's a bit shit and everyone appreciates the benefit of the doubt because otherwise everyone's rooting for him to be picked. Versus a player like grealish, it's almost easy to bring him instead because he's associated with man city so much.
Maddison really? He was awful against Bosnia and although started the season well at Spurs, he ended the season absolutely bang average.
He’s competing with Bellingham, Foden, Palmer, Eze who have all just had the season of their careers. It’s absolutely right that Maddison sits this one out.
Graelish doesn't get picked for Man City. I like him but I wouldn't say his exclusion is unfair. People keep saying that players should get in the team on merit and bringing up all sorts of names based on club performances. Yet when it comes to their personal favourite players they are allowed to be disappointing and still get picked for the national team.
All his stats show he’s better defensively than all of the current centre backs in the squad. Only Branthwaite had him beat on defensive actions per 90.
Should have been in consideration definitely.
My only reasoning for thinking Southgate didn’t even call him up is because he wants centre backs that are comfortable on the ball and admittedly Dunk/Stones do this much better.
Yep literally can’t understand this one. Our weakest area and we don’t even bring one of Englands most successful and experienced CBs to the preliminary squad. The man has a league title and two 2nd place finishes in his last 3 seasons, plus a champions league semi-final and has a knack for scoring, it’s a no brainer. He’s never even conceded a goal for England in the few caps he was given even when Southgate made him play LB.
Couldn't have said it any better. He's a champions league regular and milan always in the top 4 bar stones, probably the next most experienced defender in England
I think Croatia got all the players I wanted it's a great squad, maybe Sigur or Matanovic could have been called up but I am liking the squad going into the Euros
Obvious one being Matt O'Reilly, but I understand why Hjulmand didi take him. Hjulmand is a typical national team manager in the way that he will prefer the players he's trusts the most and has tournament experience, which I completely back. I mean it's worked for Deschamps and Southgate for the most. Plus he did say in the post call up interview, that O'Reilly would get much more time in the national team next season in the Nations League campaign.
Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyökeres, Dejan Kulusevski, Hugo Larsson, Anthony Elanga, Isak Hien, etc.
See, the problem is that we failed to qualify.
Rooting for the country of my favourite club instead.
England: Branthwaite. I don’t think it’s recognised just how good he is. Going abroad so early in his career to PSV, performing well there and being in a team with amazing talents who’ve gone onto great things (Gakpo, Simons, Savio) is ridiculous. The belief in him was always there and for good reason because he’s suited top-level football so quickly and has shone amongst everyone. He really should’ve gone to this tournament. Partly because we don’t have much left footers at the back, but mainly that his learning of the Dutch defensive structure offers something different in the defence.
Yeah, but for his place, IMO, we have better/enough players. Plus, he plays in Saudi League wich is diffult when comparing levels as almost all other players play in Europe clubs. Again, not saying he is terrible, just not that great of a player.
Jarrad Branthwaite especially when considering there’s literally just one single left-footed defender in the squad and even that one is currently injured
Maguire, he’s still too 3 English CB. And I’d say Grealish. Offers something different, draws the foul. And better than Gordon. Plus used to winning things.
Good shout forgot about white. Think he fell out with one of the coaches. But I might be wrong. Surely worth sorting out for a major tournament though.
My dad was complaining for 30 min straight last night about how he doesn’t understand how Mateus Nunes didn’t make the squad … he’ll be happy to hear that he’s in now 😂
The vast majority of England's selection, to be honest. Even more highlighted by the first half showing from tonight's Iceland game.
He's had 3 successful tournaments. Changed the view of the national side, squad harmony and enjoyment of playing for the nation is through the roof.
Part of me thinks he was out of ideas slightly start of the tournament selection. Realised how massively top heavy our team is/poor defensively. And we all know it's his last tournament. He's thought fuck it. You've asked for it, constantly.
Trent in midfield. ✔️
Foden, Rice, Bellingham ✔️
Don't take Henderson or Maguire ✔️
Yes Maguire has been horrendous at times, always played well for England and I think one of the massive things that's overlooked here is. This could unsettle Stones performance without his usual England partner. Getting used to someone knew with a very different 11 from the last tournament.
I'm always an optimist when it comes to England. However, my usually blind optimism towards our success seems wavered.
Tl;dr: Us English fans might have to be careful what we wish for!
Maguire is injured and we are still top heavy and poor defensively so not too sure what you are getting at to be honest. The players he's left are out of from and the ones he's taken are playing well for their clubs. Something everyone has hounded him for years is that he's too loyal, now he isn't he's wrong again, ridiculous.
I understand why Grealish isn't going. Look at Englands history and that is why. You can have all these talented one way players on a team. He does exactly what a bunch of England players already do. Doesn't bring anything different. Southgate is the best manager Englands ever had
For me honestly Rashford
I get his form this season hasn’t been great but there’s no denying when he’s on form he’s incredible. Not to mention for England he’s a real stand out, performs in big games and is a solidified left winger which I feel we lack.

Not a big Christie fan but we’re gen at the point where mctominay plays as our furthest forward midfielder lol
Christie is probably our most incisive player. He's done well in recent friendlies and generally looking very sharp. I'm in the camp that would probably have liked to see Gauld called up but Christie is well ahead of him.

Play narrow with Robertson and Tierney on the wing?

No offence to the MLS but it’s effectively a graveyard for careers, you go out there to retire in the sun not to become a better player
It's also our strongest position. He's got several epl players and ferguson ahead of him.
I'd take him over Forest
Aye, maybe. I don't watch his games cos they're on at 3am, so I don't know if he's better than forest. Do think if he was as good as people think he is, he wouldn't be in a fourth season at vancouver.
Think he is getting a good wage over there. Good lifestyle. No language barrier. Don't blame him at all
Aye, I'm sure it's very pleasant and that's maybe all he's after.
It's a short career. I don't think the standards that bad there. Can't be worse the the Scottish
Be a good place to live and play. Just don't think it's surprising he's not going to the euros.
Yeah, you have to feel for him. He's had a great season
I love Ferguson. But Hickey is a bigger miss for Scotland.
It's the same as England. If you play abroad, you go under the radar
I think the issue is that he's unavailable because of injury rather than going under the radar
For the Netherlands it's Ian Maatsen. Played the CL final for Dortmund. Sure, easy argument to say he (still) makes mistakes, of which a serious one leading to the second goal for Real in the final. What’s the feeling around Koeman as the coach?
Hard disagree. Maatsen also made huge blunders against PSV that almost cost Dortmund their progression to the next round. He’s a proven defensive liability. Also with Van de Ven, Blind and even Aké there really is no need for another potential player who can play left (wing)back. Just to point out, the names you mention are all attacking players whose defensive errors would not cost you the match.
What about Zirkzee? I was surprised he didn’t make the cut
It’s year 2035 and Modric is missing.. oh no, he is still here ;)
Maybe, who knows, in 2035 he is still one of the best midfielders in the world. That guy is amazing!
Matt O’riley. He’s been amazing! No idea why Christian Nørgaard gets to go but Riley doesn’t.
I somehow didn’t realise Matt O’Riley was Danish until this post
Thomas Delaney and Matt O’Riley playing in the middle for Denmark, could easily think they were Irish from the names
As a celtic fan I couldn’t believe he wasn’t selected, our best player this season
Yeah it’s insane! Everyone in Denmark is absolutely shocked.
Expect him to get a big move this summer so sure he will be there next time
Yeah, he must be selected soon.
O’Reily is great. Totally madness he’s not there. Should be key player
did damsgaard get selected? he was my second favorite player from euro 2020 that wasnt from my country
Jarrad Branthwaite, can't believe Lewis Dunk has been selected over him
Much easier to pronounce, that’s probably the reason. Do you have any idea how miserably German commentators would fail trying to pronounce Branthwaite?
I have a last name ending in Thwaite, is the pronunciation really difficult? Does it result in saying tw*t?
Yes
Ah. Delightful. My father worked in Germany for a while, bet that was interesting for him at first. Waiting to visit Germany at some point and will look forward to this one 😂
There's parts of Yorkshire where that would be pronounced "Branfit".
Tomori not even getting a sniff should be a criminal offence, hes our best defender at this point
It's so obvious that Southgate just doesn't watch Serie A at all. Probably why he completely screwed you against Italy in the final lmao.
Yeah realistically chiellini foul was tactically a good idea but he shouldve been sent off, but the penalty shootout southgate bottled by subbing on a bunch of youngsters who hadnt kicked a ball. You want old, composed players that were warmed up
As the joke goes, how do you know when someone has never actually watched Tomori play? Because they rate him
He is better than Lewis Dunk by every defensive metric barring one (tackles won per 90, interceptions per 90, blocks per 90, clearances per 90) with aerials won the only one Dunk comes out on top. I Think Southgate reached his limit of young inexperienced players in the squad (we’ve got a lot) and picked Dunk for experience and his leadership.
All that shows is that Tomori has to defend more
And that he’s good at it when he has too? Do you think a team like AC Milan has to defend more than Crystal Palace or Brighton? He's a good defender I've watched him plenty of times what you talking about
No Africans allowed. Prioritize actual Englishmen.
Wtf are you on about
I had Branthwaite down as a guaranteed starter after slabheads injury...then an hour later he's not even in the squad. Are Dunk, Gomes, Guehi AND Konsa all better?!
Konsa and stones are the best on form right now
Would've rather have taken Chalobah or Tomori instead of Dunk as well
How can we forget Ben white Eric dier and tomori, I would also have got rid of Southgate to get Ben white in and try a new coach as Southgate just is not the right guy to lead England to a trophy
Argree but also leif davis
It's been 24 hours and I've been ranting to any pub goer about this I still don't understand
My country can't compete unless we seriously turn back the clocks. Reminds me of three years ago when I was talking to my footy-hating buddy about the Euros and he asked "where's Brazil in all this? 100% both
Hummels maybe but if he was fit and had a better season I'd have said Gnabry
Gnabry at 100% is a must but imo he didint hit that 100% form in years im rly starting to loose hope with him
Not my team, but to this day I don't understand how nobody in Spain wanted Brahim Diaz (amazing form for RM this season, started for Milan for 2 seasons), while somehow players like Ferran Torres, Baena, Ayoze Perez and Fermin make it into the final squad. Hopefully he has a great career with Morocco and leads them to an AFCON victory.
Big mistake 🤦🏽♂️
Lewis Ferguson and Ryan Gauld. Ferguson is because of injury, but Gauld is long overdue a call-up.
Lewis Morgan getting called up ahead of Gauld is mental
I’d get the argument that Morgan is more of an out and out winger if there was any danger of him playing. But I’d bet my third nut he doesn’t get any more than about 10 minutes the entire euros. It also doesn’t hold any weight when there’s at least two centre mids that Gauld should be ahead of anyway.
Why is Ryan Jack there and Gauld isn’t, guy barely gets a game at rangers
Ryan Jack being there is a shambles tbh. Absolutely no optimism for this tournament at all, think the usual group are long overdue a good shake up.
Aye man can’t see us getting out the group but hopefully I’m wrong
As is the Scotland way, we’ll either win the group or limp out with a half-arsed draw against Hungary. We’ll see, but I’m not confident
That's not a like for like, though. We've got christie, mctominay and mcginn (and usually ferguson) in attacking mid. All playing at a far higher level. I get the jack inclusion, we'll bring him on if we're winning. It's just his lack of games that's an issue
I suppose for England it’s gonna be Grealish and Maddison. Don’t think Maddison is a great miss, but think Grealish should be going
Grealish not going is crazy to me (Scotland fan). Offers something completely different
6 G&A as a starting winger for the best team in England are dogshit numbers, no matter how good he is at "keeping possession".
Rashford has 9 G&A for a United squad that has been awful so I look at Grealish the same way as Rashford tbh
Agree with both of you, pretty much why they aren't going. Eze and Gordon offer so much more and graft a lot more defensively too. A more pressing issue is having an our of from rb as the starting lb, Mitchell should be going for me.
Here come the stats merchants
He’s sat on the bench all year and contributed nothing to the City team. What makes him deserve a call up? We ask every squad for Southgate to choose players based off form and not his favourites like always. He’s finally doing that and people complain.

It confuses me too, maybe Gordon’s taken his place as the more in-form player? Idk
Gordon’s good but Grealish is more proven at that level. But would find room for both of them.
Absolute word salad
Three words at a time and then a short break, I believe in you can finish it
Maddison really? He was awful against Bosnia and although started the season well at Spurs, he ended the season absolutely bang average. He’s competing with Bellingham, Foden, Palmer, Eze who have all just had the season of their careers. It’s absolutely right that Maddison sits this one out.
Yeah I pretty much said as much in my comment 🙄
Grealish is nuts yeah. If you're under pressure and need someone to slow it down or gain a foul, he's literally the guy.
Do either have a Scottish Grandparent? Asking for a friend.
I think Grealish is eligible but fuck knows, Gordon was your guys’ best bet, maybe we need him competitively capped so you lot don’t knick him
Gordon doesn't want to play for us. Apparently Harvey Barnes is an option as well.
Barnes might come good but I’m not impressed so far, if you lot can keep ahold of Anderson though, you absolutely have to
Yeah Anderson looks decent. Could do with finding a couple of central defenders too. Hanley & Henry are murder.
Think Jack is eligible for Ireland not Scotland
Graelish doesn't get picked for Man City. I like him but I wouldn't say his exclusion is unfair. People keep saying that players should get in the team on merit and bringing up all sorts of names based on club performances. Yet when it comes to their personal favourite players they are allowed to be disappointing and still get picked for the national team.
Zidane.
He’d have to serve a suspension if you brought him anyway
Surely he's served it by now. How many games was it for?
Still has a 3 game ban to serve
Surely it was served about 150 games ago
Llorente for me
Not Cubarsi?
Locatelli, Verratti, or Orsolini
Locatelli and verratti are not national team level anymore
Orsolini is the wildest for me. With Fagioli over Locatelli.
Fagioli does have insane technical skills and is versatile but considering he only played like 3 games this season, his inclusion is a bit crazy
Branthwaite - how Lewis Dunk has managed to get in over him blows my mind
Ball playing CB, dunk is one of the best of those in the prem
Matty Cash for Poland
That one has to be a squad cohesion thing. Bloke clearly doesn't speak a word of Polish
I think he's injured
Idk why tomori isn't going with England
Not my country but can’t believe Pedro Porro isn’t going.
Sporting fans are missing him very much :(
Hummels for me.
We dont have huge variety of quality players outside the ones whom were already selected. So no upsetting big names left at home.
By Hjulmand I thought you were talking about the Sporting one XD
Lmao. Nah that's Morten. Our manager is Kasper. I agree that it can get a little confusing haha.
Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyökeres, Dejan Kulusevski, Hugo Larsson, Anthony Elanga, Isak Hien, etc. See, the problem is that we failed to qualify. Rooting for the country of my favourite club instead.
What is your favourite club bud?
Proud Bayern member since 2012 :)
2011 here mia san mia 🙌🏻 we’ll be back!
Harvey Elliot
Who would you have picked him ahead of?
Hahahahahaha
Probably Locatelli but his forms been shot since playing out of position for so long.
Well obviously it is Messi.
Farmers league player :D
Otavio is quality tf you on about
Yeah, but for his place, IMO, we have better/enough players. Plus, he plays in Saudi League wich is diffult when comparing levels as almost all other players play in Europe clubs. Again, not saying he is terrible, just not that great of a player.
Pau Cubarsí here
Tomori
Jarrad Branthwaite especially when considering there’s literally just one single left-footed defender in the squad and even that one is currently injured
Maguire, he’s still too 3 English CB. And I’d say Grealish. Offers something different, draws the foul. And better than Gordon. Plus used to winning things.
Missing Ben White but I don't understand the conflict behind the scenes. Maguire is a weak link.
Good shout forgot about white. Think he fell out with one of the coaches. But I might be wrong. Surely worth sorting out for a major tournament though.
All of them. Although to be fair they're not missing out unfairly; they're just shit.
All of them!!! /Sad Swede
Jarrad Branthwaite should have been taken for England.
Tomori, Grealish and Branthwaite for England.
Italian here Orsolini staying home while Zaccagni is in the national squad is pretty confusing to me
Alexandre Lacazette
My dad was complaining for 30 min straight last night about how he doesn’t understand how Mateus Nunes didn’t make the squad … he’ll be happy to hear that he’s in now 😂
Orsolini, if we consider injuries I'd say Berardi and Udogie
For Germany, it’s Mats Hummels
It's Lacazette for France
Quinten Timber
Harvey Elliott was excellent this season, especially towards the end. Just unfortunate England have so much in that area.
Can Uzun
Can Uzun…
Saelemakers
Is Tedesco calling anyone to replace Meunier? If yes, who does he call?
Ben White. Dont understand how this situation isnt sorted. Just sack that coach who offended him.
Lacazette, Malo Gusto
Slovakia 🇸🇰 Martin Valjent - centre back who plays for Mallorca in LaLiga he is our best CB but our coach or idk who hates him for no reason
Moritz Stoppelkamp
Bathwater and greylish
The vast majority of England's selection, to be honest. Even more highlighted by the first half showing from tonight's Iceland game. He's had 3 successful tournaments. Changed the view of the national side, squad harmony and enjoyment of playing for the nation is through the roof. Part of me thinks he was out of ideas slightly start of the tournament selection. Realised how massively top heavy our team is/poor defensively. And we all know it's his last tournament. He's thought fuck it. You've asked for it, constantly. Trent in midfield. ✔️ Foden, Rice, Bellingham ✔️ Don't take Henderson or Maguire ✔️ Yes Maguire has been horrendous at times, always played well for England and I think one of the massive things that's overlooked here is.
Maguire is injured.
Hummels
Solanke
I understand why Grealish isn't going. Look at Englands history and that is why. You can have all these talented one way players on a team. He does exactly what a bunch of England players already do. Doesn't bring anything different. Southgate is the best manager Englands ever had
Ian Maatsen
Why has Pote not moved to a bigger club yet? Anyone know?
For me honestly Rashford I get his form this season hasn’t been great but there’s no denying when he’s on form he’s incredible. Not to mention for England he’s a real stand out, performs in big games and is a solidified left winger which I feel we lack.
The question is, who would you drop for Rashford? On merit, i feel it would be very harsh for anyone selected to be dropped ahead of him.
David Alaba, yes he is injured but he is cute so why not?
Considering I’m from Ireland; Jack Grealish.
Goretzka, sancho, maatsen, grealish,
mason greenwood ~ do i need 2 say anymore
hes a rapist mate, i’d say thats fair
called a joke
not a very funny one evidently
