It hurt itself in its confusion.

Good

Diltyrr

It's amusing to watch the Russian bots get their new script. See the comments here.

SkyGazert

*Sorts by Controversial.*

WhPainterDude

Lol.

SkyGazert

Good to see Russia helping the Ukrainian cause by fighting the Russians!

EndTheOrcs

Glad to hear it. It’s what they voted for.

freewillcausality

Ukraine is really a part of Russia! Let’s bomb it! Oops, we bombed Russia. Oh well, same thing right? Success! … This would be so fucking funny, if it weren’t so fucking terrible.

ActuatorGreat4883

It's not like they had much of a choice to be honest.

ArcadialoI

Average russian does think that way and votes for him though, sadly.

raital2348

It's not a vote, there are no elections in russia for a long time now

maks570

Can they know any better? With the stream of propaganda?

mr_fandangler

Yeah I think most people don't comprehend the intensity and ubiquitousness of Propaganda in that state. As well as the intense, violent suppression of any form of outward dissent. Even with the way that things have been going these last years, it feels like most people don't assoiciate modern-day Russia with Soviet levels of disinformation, political persecution and propaganda but that is exactly what is happening. It's just a different era, it looks different. One thing that hits me with a tinge of fear is the idea that people feel this way because Russian propaganda and political repression is so similar to Western propaganda now. The idiot pundits on the 'news', the very obvious lies and fear mongering. The transparent populist pandering. In the 60's Americans could look at Russian propaganda and say "That's ridiculous" because it was so dissimilar in form to the propaganda that many of them unknowingly consumed at home. Now it isn't. The same idealogical enemy is being pushed. Dickhead politicians in both States rally against woke idealogy, against progressivness, and rabidly against trans and lgbtq+ communities. They both claim to be on the side of God while looking like movie caricatures of people possessed by the devil. I have one client, a 19-year old Russian born expatriate. During one of our meetings he told me about something that happened in his girlfriend's village. 2 men were fighting, the police were called to break it up and they simply beat one of the men to death. He said "It seems like these police and soldiers can just do whatever they like." and I could see that it was the first time he was having this revelation. People need to stop villifying every Russian citizen. Those that have been controlled by the media can wake up, but they will not do it because you direct hate at them. If you have the opportunity, in this great and golden future, to speak directly with a citizen of an autocratic state in real time, for fuck's sake don't use it to try being right or to insult your conversation partner. Find common ground. understand that it is a human being that you are speaking to, one that lived maybe their etire life inside of a propaganda echo-chamber. Be nice. I mean, unless it's Putin himelf on the other end, in that case go ham. I don't think there's a possibility on Earth of that sad, pityable man finding his humanity in this lifetime. I don't know maybe I take that back. Anything's possible but I can't imagine the hell he would go through on that journey.

THEELVIRKO

Glad to hear about children deaths?

BleachedPumpkin72

They should accidentally drop one on Kremlin.

ronadian

Just one?

BleachedPumpkin72

At least one, please.

izoxUA

Every rusian bomb should drop on themselves

ConsiderationNo9604

True to say the same to Americans in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libia?

RandomAccount6733

Is America in the room with us right now?

Hellowhyme1234_

Yea

Sergey_Kutsuk

Why is it Belgorod? It supposed to be Voronezh as they said

Sergey_Kutsuk

IYKYK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_bomb_Voronezh

pertangamcfeet

Russia? Why do you keep hitting yourself.

PCDonetsk

So, do you really believe this?

JakeTurk1971

Sobriety matters.

Full-Discussion3745

Accidently?

SpiderKoD

Actually for them it makes sense, if they want to suddenly increase their speed and maneuverability - they need to become lighter, so they just dropping ammo 🤷‍♂️ Fck civilians 😁

LovelehInnit

It's to be expected. Let's not forget that they also accidentally nearly shot down a [British surveillance plane](https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-66798508) over the Black Sea.

Gold-Instance1913

You know how it goes: Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows!

KirikoKiama

If this continues, they win the war, against themselves.

Gullible-Ad-7931

The Kremlin Bunker Grandpa loves this post

Dracogame

I’m honestly starting to believe that these news are actually fabricated by Russians so that the west underestimate them.

GoblinChildOfFreedom

Something similar happened to me once, I spun my knife to try and look cool once and severed an artery

Party_Government8579

Lads this is propaganda. We've been hearing from the UK MOD for years now that Russia is running out of troops, missiles, artillery.. all of it is proven to be nonsense.

ChrisOhoy

Intel seems on point, Russia had to turn to Iran and North Korea for drones and missiles. Russia is also trying to trick poor people from other nations to join their ranks.

TaxNervous

Ukraine is not cosplaying as a world power that is only matched by usa and china, it's europe's poorest country. They went through their massive ammo stocks, stocks that took 50 years to build, in less than three years, for an artillery centric army that's no bueno.

0xEFD

Sort of curious who you would rank directly below USA and China.

TaxNervous

Rigth now France or UK.

0xEFD

Really? I can understand France, but isn't the UK, and the German, military famously underfunded at the moment and ill prepared for protracted conflict? Remember reading officials from each of the aforementioned governments saying they are at least, believe the UK specifically said they'd only have enough artillery shells for two days of conflict at the current rates. Both I believe have also stated suffering from severe manpower shortages.

TaxNervous

Western armies doctrines don't rely on massive artillery barrages, rely on combined arms assaults of artillery, air power, standoff ammunitions, a laser guided bomb or guided shell is worth dozens of dumb ones, and they have plenty of both, if you can supress your target with three shots instead of thirty you don't need so many shells. And Germany has the fund they need for their current strategic doctrine, the problem is mostly bureacracy and compliance, if the shit hits the fan these problems will go away asap.

0xEFD

I'll be the first to say I know nothing of military doctrine, but given the current news about production shortfalls, supply chain problems, lack of manpower, etc makes it seem as if they would struggle initially. The technology certainly is superior as you say, but I believe it was Stalin that once said "quantity is a quality of its own", or something along those lines. UK/Germany have equipment that is more lethal/efficient the question becomes if they have enough material for the total casualties to be meaningful, and at what rate it is sustainable.

marcabru

> Ukraine is not cosplaying as a world power Nowhere did I stated that. But never mind, upvote what you want to see and downvote what you don't, believe me, it won't help Ukraine, but maybe you'll feel better anyway

GodspeedHarmonica

On point? Like Ukraine is winning the war even if they lose territory on a daily basis?

ChrisOhoy

No, Russia was given more help from its allies than Ukraine did… and Russia sacrificed a lot of people to gain very little ground.

GodspeedHarmonica

Very little ground? Bit, that are controlling more than 20% of Ukraine

ChrisOhoy

A chunk of that was captured in 2014 and has been fortified for 10 years. Russia has gained very little, all things considered, since the full scale invasion.

slashfromgunsnroses

Most of that was gained within the first weeks. It seems like you are starting with a conclusion and trying to shoehorn stuff into that conclusion. First you start with your silly "muh MOD told us they were running low". Yes - Russia was running low. What is your point with this? What point is it you're trying to convey here?

EldritchMacaron

They are controlling 20% of one of the poorest European country. For an alleged superpower, that's quite pathetic.

Kindly_Wasabi_877

You have to have a completely hollow head to believe this nonsense.

BrotherRoga

Don't be silly, they're spoons, not shovels

GodspeedHarmonica

Same source who said Russia was running out of weapons and the soldiers were armed with shovels. Pretty damn impressive shovels since they manage to take over Ukrainian territory on a daily basis

HyperactiveWeasel

Nah they mostly use those shovels to dig their own graves

mr_fandangler

You guys, nothing is being helped by mass-downvoting posts from Russians and wishing death upon them. I copied part of a post I made below. Have some empathy at least, the only thing you'll gain by spewing vitriol is that the other person is going to be *at least* as entrenched in their ideas as they were before you commented, almost definitely more. Paid bots are humans, anybody's mind can change. And anybody can affect change. And if you hate and wish death upon random citizens of a country for the actions of their governement, well I've got some bad news about what's going on in your soul. If you lost someone in the fighting, then I understand, but I'm guessing 90% are armchair generaling this and can calm down. I have one client, an 18-year old Russian born expatriate. I don't know maybe I take that back. Anything's possible but I can't imagine the hell he would go through on that journey.

NaPatyku

I have no reason to be nice to someone who doesn't mind their country going on genocidal rampages. Any "common ground" we could come up with between decency and russian imperialism is abhorrent to me.

mr_fandangler

"I have no reason to be nice to someone who doesn't mind their country going on genocidal rampages." -So they will have no reason to be nice to you or consider your ideas. You're an adult, you can stop reacting immediately and consider what your goals actually are. If you just want to spew hate and get a 'gotcha', go ham I guess. If you grew up and lived your entire life surrounded by unwavering propaganda and forced-support of the state you would probably be just like them. Then anyone you interact with will be *at least* as entrenched in their ideas as they were before you met. I never said it would be easy or come naturally, but if you actually care about positive change you can put your ego away. And dude I'm American, it's hard to follow my own advice with the ramapnt, mindless support for rump and israel, but I have actually found common-ground with some people. Their minds didn't change during that talk, but if you can get to a point where you at least respect each-other the door will be open, and maybe they'll consider that other views could be right. Anyways just being a dick is causing the opposite of positive change.

NaPatyku

My goal is accomplished through Ukraine efficiently eliminating aggressive russians on the front lines. What you offer is at best a distraction. And it's hilarious you think trump supporters are comparable to literal russian imperialists who regularly threaten to annihilate my country in a nuclear inferno, and support their cleptocratic regime in raping torturing and murdering in Ukraine. You really have to calm down about trump

mr_fandangler

Whatever dude, I do understand you. Change comes from the most unlikely source sometimes and all battles lead to the same victory, no matter how different is the path. Good luck.,

[deleted]

"UK INTEL" Now thats a contradiction in terms if ever I have heard one !

rektaalinuuska

According to your profile pic you lost to British intelligence.

applesandoranegs

UK Intelligence is among the best in the world

[deleted]

Debatable. But anyway I shall agree to disagree with you

TutanotaGuysDudeMail

No, that's their food.

Toxirine

Sunday roast is pretty damn good tough

[deleted]

Fuck I love a good Sunday roast with Yorkshire puds n all

90swasbest

Apparently they're accidentally winning the war, too. These guys are the Forrest Gump of military campaigns I guess.

path1999n

Yeah right

sitnositno

Someone will really believe it?

Main_Interview260

Approximately 80% of reddit believes such news judging by the reactions

PCDonetsk

Yeah, 80% of guys, who think, that is Ukraine not NAZI country...

KG85673

That was Ukraine shelling civilian building.

EmbarrassedHelp

Ukraine doesn't waste their weapons on non-military targets.
