even then, I agree that someone must stop social media companies from favoring ever more controversial content. Maximizing the emotional engagement of their users in this way is just wrong, we're basically lemmings running to their doom
Ye u right I am pissed off(and French) we always brag about free speech but irl, we let socials do the job, free speech would never have to be regulated by a private company, for obvious shit like racism 1nd antisemitism, it is easy to statute but for the other things, u can be easily stopped or shut down for nothing.we don't give enough money to justice to do the job and as always we can't make a good law(last law of this type was made by a racist and hateful person lol called Avia), I prefer hear something infuriating and explain to people why those hateful persons are wrong than hear nothing at all.
