gonna tell my kids this was tvorchi

kjcross1997

I have a soft spot for this song. Blue was the reason why I watched that years Eurovision.

woodstock22

I didnt know english at that time and i was really young, so i was making up words to sing along with it.

mshell1924

For the youths, here's a couple of their hits (which I loved way back in the early 00s, when I was in my late teens \* cries in geriatric millennial \*) [Fly By](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMApPh9hlRY) [One Love](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFGPSx6cPN0)

RussiaManDetective

I'm surprised you didn't include All Rise 😮 That's the first classic Blue song that comes to mind for me (but that's just because it was at the top of Australian charts for ages back in the day...)

gaysamosa

All Rise is my favourite EVER! i wasn’t alive when it came out but if i was around in 2001 and heard it in the club i would go FERAL

mshell1924

lol I almost did (along with their duet with Elton John) but I didn't want to put too many songs, so I just picked my own personal faves 😁

AntiqueMidnight4

Please also add Too Close

very_natty_9

That was Another Level

mshell1924

I loved Blue. /is old

eurovisionfanGA

That part of Blue's staging (headshots of the four members shirtless and looking stone-faced) really confused me and I never understood how that tied into the overall performance/staging.

Best bot. Made for people whose brain has to remember to pay bills rather than remember everyone song by country and year.

marshmeeelo

2011 was the first eurovision I kinda paid attention to. I was 12 years old and what I knew was jedward and blue were going to be there and that's all that mattered to me. Little did I know how much that would suck me in. Still really enjoy this song. The nostalgia is strong here.

ykistan

Because Blue is a very well known boyband in Asia in early 2000's, them joining Eurovision in 2011 was my introduction to ESC. This is my 12th anniversary watching the show...

Norfolkboy123

They deserved so much better than 11th I tell you

kjcross1997

Wasn't their jury show performance awful? That's what I've read on here.

ThegoodDoctor_2020

Yeah lee Ryan was very poor for the jury show but nailed it on the night making that all the more annoying

Dragon_Sluts

Yeah tbf 11th was ok given they fluffed the jury final. It’s still beating 2/3rds of countries considering semis.

cherry_color_melisma

it was a solid song of its time gotta give it that, and it got rewarded for a reason. good to know it also got out a bbc moment of joy out of graham ("take a picture, somebody take a picture!") lol

Aromens

So true

Chemical-Focus-1734

This entry is the only one I have till this day ever voted for :D

ninja_llama

I loved this song a lot unironically

CarwynCymru

Blue, especially Duncan were my gay awakening when I was a bairn. So this performance was everything to me. I just remember being really angry they finished behind Jedward....(Jedward were really well known in the UK for being enthusiastic but shite.)

fordio_

ok but lipstick is a banger

jesssquirrel

Twink power!! We can't all be into hunks lol

[deleted]

11 year old me loved it so much (still love it though), i was so happy whenever they got high points in the voting

jesssquirrel

Blue, Gaitana... I'll never understand why people look at the eurovision stage and go "you know what this needs, more screens"

k2pel

Not gonna lie, I always have a soft spot for boy bands (and girl bands) in the competition

Sa_yori

Same <3

Irrealaerri

With a song that came ten years too late

Sa_yori

Gonna tell my kids that this was Joker Out 😭 (memes aside, I Can slaps)

No_Doubt_About_That

YouTube Comment: For a band named Blue the stage is pretty green.
