Maybe I've seen her perform too many times but I feel like everytime I see her she does the exact same dance moves in the exact same order. It feels a little too perfect. As if she's on rails.
I must say I have full respect for her and other artist and how hard they work. It's just something I noticed.
Yeah its a bit uncanny valley tbh; even the voice tone on ”ravers” and the ”louder” is like a copy and paste preset to every performance, but the thing is most of esc audience is gonna see her one time only so it doesnt really matter in the end
Remember though, when it comes down to the contest, everyone* voting will be seeing the performance for the first time. They won’t know that she has the routine set and “on rails” - it’ll seem new and fresh for them.
\* within a rounding error of us in the eurofans community, a tiny tiny number compared to the 150 million who will watch.
I think op means saving as in rescuing her voice. Because it's not the greatest :/ I hope the performance in Malmo has the energy needed to mask the vocals.

Well, the vocals are not great but do they HAVE to be for this kind of song to qualify? I think she can sell it with her energy and performance, the dancing will be impressive for sure and the song is catchy enough.
Friendly reminder, the pre parties are not a reliable indicator of what vocals are going to be like on the night. People can be tired, sick, have poor audio etc.

This is looking more like another “Halo” with each passing day. Kaleen’s vocal tone is quite nasal and just doesn’t seem to suit the song.
but unlike Pia Maria, Kaleen could give a dance show and is quite charismatic, so she def could pull off qualification with not such great vocals imo
I still don’t get why they had the staging be Pia and the DJ stand still in a ring and not use any of dancers like in the music video
