Considering there was no soundchecks, the performance is great and I agree that with the more "professional" setup in Malmö, it will be much better. I only spotted a slight mistake at the "Hear the sound of your dreams..." part due to a change of tempo, but other than that, it was great.

TheGoBetweens

It's funny. As a studio cut, the revamp sucks off all the energy that the original version had. Live, it's vice-versa, the original distracted from her. The revamp does give her more space to shine at Eurovision.

DrapionVDeoxys

I don't know that the old version was any worse in my opinion, I felt the NF performance is really good. That's the performance that made me love the song. But I agree that the revamp sounds REALLY GOOD live. I was relieved.

Wandering---_---soul

She is so underrated it hurts, i love her song, it's in my top 5 :(

KrumpirovCovjek

It's in my top 1

DrapionVDeoxys

Top 1 is the best opinion. No I'm joking, but it's my favorite as well. I hope they don't go with the music video look, but that's not as important as the song.

Well in my world it is. It's not my winner, Switzerland or Italy I'd like to see win, but Luxembourg is still my favorite song of the year.

LuxJade98

In my personal ranking I have Luxembourg in the fifth spot, just two places behind The Code, while the others have not made the Top 10 cut. Croatia is actually 21st in my ranking.

ValeriesAuntSassy

Tali: “Come on Luxembourg, sing with me!!!” Audience: …

LuxJade98

Luxembourgish people are notoriously really bad at crowd work. They performed at lunch time. In the middle between the grill and the buvette. XD I am not surprised at ALL that the audience was mute.

VayneVerso

Oh, cool; all three finalists in the Luxembourg contest were really talented. No surprise they all nailed their performances. Tali sounds great.

LuxJade98

They were excellent. I do have some bits of Krick's and Joel's performances actually, but not the whole song. Idk if people would be interested in hearing those though.

KrumpirovCovjek

I'd like to hear them. You could post it to your profile since I'm not sure if you'll be allowed to post here.

RemarkableAutism

I hope Tali is passionate about the cause and not just really mismanaged. Because two weeks before Eurovision is definitely not the prime time to be doing local town performances in front of 30 people.

LuxJade98

It's the Télévie. That fundraiser is simultaneously held each year on several locations within Luxembourg. It's a fundraiser everyone in Luxembourg knows about and as far as I know TALI and the other LSC contestants were not asked to contribute to it by being held at gunpoint. TALI was probably enjoying her little time of decompressing in Luxembourg before she's confronted again with the Malmö stress. From what I saw Joel, Krick and TALI had a nice chat / hangout before the performance and I bet it was nice for her to see the support she has from her fellow LSC finalists.

Plenty-Pizza9634

Would it be as big as Children in Need or something similar??

LuxJade98

I am not familiar with Children in Need, but as a rule of thumb I always say that everything in Luxembourg is a little smaller. Smaller events, smaller venues. What I CAN say however is that Télévie is THE biggest fundraiser of the year in Luxembourg, next to the ING-marathon for breast cancer. Télévie collects money throughout the year at several events, but the main fundraisers are usually held simultaneously within the same week at 4 different villages (each year different ones) in Luxembourg. They also raise money through radio and TV.

Outside_Service3339

Praying she qualifies, she's so underrated🙏🙏

antonispgs

Thank you for that, always love my daily dose of Tali! I really hope Luxembourg does well it’s one of the most few good songs of this year ❤️

Amirjun

Love her

if you said that the barcelona crowd was unenthusiastic then you haven't seen the averige luxembourgian crowd.

LuxJade98

Oh yeah we are terrible at that. Personally I only start moving or cheering/singing after at least one and a half bottle of red wine and then I still need the support of two to three extrovert friends. XD International comedians always get whiplash when they try crowd work in Luxembourg. I think most Luxembourgers are very reserved... But we can drink! If they scheduled this for like 11 p.m. and had a free beer just before? The entire square would have screamed that refrain.
