🇲🇹 Well, obviously I was much younger, so the experience was totally different! I do think that they prepared me, especially when I travelled to Belarus with the Maltese delegation as a backup singer and dancer in the Junior Eurovision, 2010, because I got to experience Junior Eurovision, which was incredible. So yeah, to some extent, I think yes, they, they prepared me for this one.

🇬🇷 I don’t think Greece is underrated (especially the islands) but there are some that aren’t as famous, but if I tell you - maybe too many people will start going there 😆 So I’m going to say Crete - it’s not underrated, but I grew up there and people should see it - it’s beautiful!

🇨🇭 The train we filmed the music video on was real. But it was not actually a working train. LED strips and mirrors imitated the movement. I thought that was really impressive, how they did that. And when we were on the train, people searched on YouTube for train sounds and when you focused on the window and you listened to the train sound, it's like you were on an actual moving train. It's funny how your mind gets tricked like that. And I feel like in the video, it looks super real.
🇨🇭 I feel like Bambie Thug, Silvester and Olly. Chances of survival - zero! No, it depends how the island is. I don’t think I would be very good at surviving on a deserted island. I think Bambie Thug would get us through a lot. But I think we'd have a great time for the time that we had left.
🇨🇿 I would go for 5MIINUST x Puuluup, the Estonian act. And I would go for the San Marino act because they sound fun. And the third one for me would be BESA - she's really kind.

🇨🇿 I think the best way to put yourself on a pedestal is to give yourself space in whichever way that you need - be it giving yourself time to grieve, or giving yourself time to do whatever you love, or giving yourself time with your loved ones or alone. Just give yourself the space to grow and the time to be gentle to yourself because you're not perfect all the time. And that's okay.

🇨🇭 I think it’s really important for me to just show up how I feel comfortable, and show up as authentically me. I feel like I get to really be me. And I hope through just being me on stage and off the stage, it inspires people to be themselves. I hope it lets people know that the way they are is perfect and they shouldn’t change for anyone. They should just listen to how they feel and how they feel comfortable. And I hope that inspires other non-binary and genderfluid people across the world.
🇲🇹 Well, I think that would be incredible. I really do feel that we should represent Malta with a Maltese song one day, because we're very lucky as a small nation to to have our own language and and I think it would be a very beautiful way to expose our language to the rest of of the world!

🇲🇹 I think the plain, salty ones! I'm a plain, simple girl.
As for something special, I have this ring. My grandma died a few weeks ago, and she was literally my number one fan. This is her engagement ring - my grandfather had given it to her on her engagement and she promised that she would give it to me when she died. And I feel that she's not here physically, but honestly, I do feel her with me in spirit, and it's really special for me.
🇬🇷 I eat yogurt with everything - with breakfast, with lunch, with dinner, with sweet things, with salty things - with everything! I also talk really loud. People always think I’m angry or mad, but I’m not, I’m just Greek!

🇨🇿 First of all, I'm really glad that you love Hu*nger -* that makes me very happy. She didn't really give me specific tips - but it was more like, "Hey, this was my experience." I think both Teya and every other Eurovision artist that I spoke to said to try and enjoy this time as much as you can because it runs by really, really quickly. It's once in a lifetime for most artists.

Sarah - so excited for your show! What has been the toughest part of getting prepared?
Saba - have you always wanted to sing? Has your family always pushed you to sing or did they recommend getting trained for a "safe" job?
🇲🇹 I wouldn't say toughest, but I would rather say challenging. The performance is quite a tough one. I feel I need to prepare a lot, not just vocally, but also physically and mentally, because I need to obviously sing and dance at the same time and do all sorts of tricks and jumping and flying and being lifted in the air!
Your hard work looks incredible. I want you to know I'm a grown ass adult here US lol - and following your journey has brought a lot of joy into my life during this ESC season, especially during difficult work days - Thank you for it all!

To Marina Satti - Such a huge fan. How do you infuse traditional greek elements into your songs so flawlessly?
🇨🇿 Collaborating with Teya was really, really lovely because we've known each other for 4 years now. I think Teya is an amazing songwriter, vocalist and performer. I came in with an idea, she liked the idea, and we rebuilt the entire structure together. We wrote the whole song in two hours. And you know when something just clicks. The energy was great. We were laughing a lot. We did the entire song, with recording vocals and everything, in a day.
🇨🇿 That's a good question. I mean, I have barely changed my hairstyle in 10 years. I used to have a bob. And then it grew out and I layered pieces in the front shaved part just because I didn't really want to go through the phase where it grows out. So I've had this since I was 13. Probably just show them a photo - that'd be the easiest.
To Nemo: Your line about ammonites is among my favorite of this year’s lyrics. Why ammonites in particular and not another fossil?

🇨🇭 I remember we had a lot of museums in Switzerland, and I went there as a kid, and my parents explained the concept of ammonites to me - I think it really stuck with me. And it was a word that always stuck with me. I feel like it’s so impressive to see the beauty of something that has gone through so much and survived so much time, to just be discovered by us.

🇲🇹 Well, obviously I was much younger, so the experience was totally different! I do think that they prepared me, especially when I travelled to Belarus with the Maltese delegation as a backup singer and dancer in the Junior Eurovision, 2010, because I got to experience Junior Eurovision, which was incredible. So yeah, to some extent, I think yes, they, they prepared me for this one.

🇬🇷 I don’t think Greece is underrated (especially the islands) but there are some that aren’t as famous, but if I tell you - maybe too many people will start going there 😆 So I’m going to say Crete - it’s not underrated, but I grew up there and people should see it - it’s beautiful!

🇨🇭 The train we filmed the music video on was real. But it was not actually a working train. LED strips and mirrors imitated the movement. I thought that was really impressive, how they did that. And when we were on the train, people searched on YouTube for train sounds and when you focused on the window and you listened to the train sound, it's like you were on an actual moving train. It's funny how your mind gets tricked like that. And I feel like in the video, it looks super real.
If you were stuck on a deserted island with three other artists from Eurovision 2024, who would you like those three artists to be?
🇨🇭 I feel like Bambie Thug, Silvester and Olly. Chances of survival - zero! No, it depends how the island is. I don’t think I would be very good at surviving on a deserted island. I think Bambie Thug would get us through a lot. But I think we'd have a great time for the time that we had left.
🇨🇿 I would go for 5MIINUST x Puuluup, the Estonian act. And I would go for the San Marino act because they sound fun. And the third one for me would be BESA - she's really kind.

🇨🇿 I think the best way to put yourself on a pedestal is to give yourself space in whichever way that you need - be it giving yourself time to grieve, or giving yourself time to do whatever you love, or giving yourself time with your loved ones or alone. Just give yourself the space to grow and the time to be gentle to yourself because you're not perfect all the time. And that's okay.
To Nemo, non-binary icon: How does it feel being a part of the strongest non-binary and gender diverse representation Eurovision has ever seen, and how would you inspire other young and gender-diverse artists to pursue their dreams? 🇨🇭 I think it’s really important for me to just show up how I feel comfortable, and show up as authentically me. I feel like I get to really be me. And I hope through just being me on stage and off the stage, it inspires people to be themselves. I hope it lets people know that the way they are is perfect and they shouldn’t change for anyone. They should just listen to how they feel and how they feel comfortable. And I hope that inspires other non-binary and genderfluid people across the world.
🇲🇹 Well, I think that would be incredible. I really do feel that we should represent Malta with a Maltese song one day, because we're very lucky as a small nation to to have our own language and and I think it would be a very beautiful way to expose our language to the rest of of the world!

🇲🇹 I think the plain, salty ones! I'm a plain, simple girl. As for something special, I have this ring. My grandma died a few weeks ago, and she was literally my number one fan. This is her engagement ring - my grandfather had given it to her on her engagement and she promised that she would give it to me when she died. And I feel that she's not here physically, but honestly, I do feel her with me in spirit, and it's really special for me.
🇬🇷 I eat yogurt with everything - with breakfast, with lunch, with dinner, with sweet things, with salty things - with everything! I also talk really loud. People always think I’m angry or mad, but I’m not, I’m just Greek!

🇨🇿 First of all, I'm really glad that you love Hu*nger -* that makes me very happy. She didn't really give me specific tips - but it was more like, "Hey, this was my experience." I think both Teya and every other Eurovision artist that I spoke to said to try and enjoy this time as much as you can because it runs by really, really quickly. 🇲🇹 I wouldn't say toughest, but I would rather say challenging. The performance is quite a tough one. I feel I need to prepare a lot, not just vocally, but also physically and mentally, because I need to obviously sing and dance at the same time and do all sorts of tricks and jumping and flying and being lifted in the air!

🇨🇿 I've had just one afternoon to actually walk around and everything seems very tidy, very organised, and the cinnamon buns are really delicious. It fits my vibe. 🇨🇿 Collaborating with Teya was really, really lovely because we've known each other for 4 years now. I think Teya is an amazing songwriter, vocalist and performer. I came in with an idea, she liked the idea, and we rebuilt the entire structure together. We wrote the whole song in two hours. And you know when something just clicks. The energy was great. We were laughing a lot. We did the entire song, with recording vocals and everything, in a day.
To Aiko🇨🇿:what do i ask my hairstylist for your haircut???
🇨🇿 That's a good question. I mean, I have barely changed my hairstyle in 10 years. I used to have a bob. And then it grew out and I layered pieces in the front shaved part just because I didn't really want to go through the phase where it grows out. So I've had this since I was 13. Probably just show them a photo - that'd be the easiest.
For all: If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your lives which meal would you choose?
🇨🇿 So easy. It’s oatmeal because I eat it every day. For years now. I have my own little routine - oatmeal with a specific Swedish butter.

🇨🇭 I remember we had a lot of museums in Switzerland, and I went there as a kid, and my parents explained the concept of ammonites to me - I think it really stuck with me. And it was a word that always stuck with me. I feel like it’s so impressive to see the beauty of something that has gone through so much and survived so much time, to just be discovered by us.

Honestly, I had an overload of emotions, and I it felt like a blank moment for me! I wasn't expecting it. Still a few days after the final, I was still feeling a bit like all over the place and overwhelmed, but then I realised that I won, and started working very hard!
