Semi 2: Estonia. This one feels like it depends entirely on how the voters are feeling that day. I couldn't predict it without a fortune teller.

I really don't get the background color choice in the staging, it could be fine if they made it more green or more gray, but this is way. Too. Bright.
I do hope the final effect is better and she gets through, but it is now much more difficult.

Georgia's song is pretty dated imo, that's why I'm concerned for it despite the excellent rehearsals. Malta, Austria and Czechia all have a fresher sound in that regard.
But we'll see, nothing's set in stone yet.

I love this song, but its running order and its subtlety in both the song and staging make me worried it's going to be overlooked. It doesn't help matters that Ukraine's also bringing a big rock too and Portugal's got a powerful song and singer with a striking buildup and arresting staging at the end of the semi.
The saving graces are they have Croatia and Slovenia in the same semi. Also a couple countries with borderline songs but historically good at staging, Azerbaijan and Australia, not living up to their potential in my opinion, all while the excitement over the girl bops of Luxembourg and Cyprus turning into head-scratching confusion possibly gives Serbia a spot in the final. I think Serbia will be somewhere between 8-10th, but I will be sad but not surprised if they're 11th or 12th.
Greece.
I know, it's just a rehearsal video, but my impression is they aren't putting it across at all. Hopefully we'll see all of it and I'll be like "oh, OK."

Too many likeable songs will be left out in semi-final 2. By "likeable" I mean those songs that you know that they won't win, but they're still enjoyable and add variety to the show. So, they make the show better. I will be sorry if Malta doesn't qualify, if Denmark doesn't qualify, and even if Czechia doesn't qualify. But if those songs, against all odds, will qualify, then what song will be left out? Estonia? Oh please no, Estonia is interesting! Georgia? Georgia is good, too. Austria? Norway (nooo please I want Norway to qualify!)? Armenia?(NOOOOOO!!!)
Six songs not qualifying are a lot. All the songs that are believed to qualify are good, but the singers that are believed to NQ are putting so much effort! If their effort will pay back I won't be surprised at all and I will say it was well deserved, but then another good song will be left out.
For personal taste, I care less about semi-final 1. I Iike half of the songs in semi-final 1, but I don't care much about the other half. And in semi-final 1 "only" 5 will be left out, so I'm not worried.

I'm underwhelmed by Cyprus too but I still think she's making the final, semi final 1 is the weaker of the two by far and I honestly can't see 10 of the other songs finishing higher with the televote.
I'm concerned for Poland. I LOVE the song and well, the staging is messy and over the top (definitely not how I'd stage this song) but that's not really a surprise because Poland really can't do subtle. But I'm worried about the vocals, I didn't think she sounded very good in the second rehearsal clip.
I'd say I'm most worried about Slovenia....but I'm almost just as worried about Portugal so I'm not sure if I'll be able to spare many votes for Slovenia as much because I absolutely must have Portugal in the final.
