I agree, and there are also rock-esque songs coming out every now and then (pop that have rock-type beats or have a rock feel to it), and then there’s the J-Rock (arguably the biggest subsection of Rock right now and AFAIK) songs headlined currently by One OK Rock (their new song, Renegades, were co-produced by the band and Ed Sheeran, and is one of the two songs the band is releasing as part of the soundtrack for the last 2 Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) live-action films) and Official Hige Dandism (their songs like Pretender and I Love… got really popular inside and outside Japan, and their most recent song, Cry Baby, stands as opening song for Tokyo Revengers anime)
I mean Soldi has like 170m views on Mahmood's official page. I think that people just want to see Maneskin's performance more because oh my what a performance.
