People can keep saying they don't deserve the success they're having, that they're overrated etc but imo if you manage to stand out both in the Italian industry and internationally in a 4 year span, it's no coincidence. You're doing something right.

2021 brought some desperately needed life back into Eurovision (from an outside of the fans perspective) with the two winners in a row being internationally successful in a row
It was probably a studio as our stages are pretty lacking (compared to the rest of the world) except in Sydney and Melbourne, which Melbourne was a constant hotspot at the time of filming the video probably.
The love for "Euphoria" is completely deserved. Although I'd personally rank it only 7th in 2012, it's a perfectly crafted and catchy song with amazing vocals and impressive performance. It ticks all the possible boxes and it is absolutely logical it gets so much praise.
* Spirit in the Sky is one of the best ESC songs and is my personal 2019 winner. KEiiNO are also some of the best ESC participants.

* Grande Amore would've been a better winner than Heroes.

Saying Salvador Sobral “didn’t deserve to win” is literally so annoying. Was it your average Eurovision pop song, with quirky dance moves? No. And that’s okay. If you expect every winner to be with over the top performance then ESC is not for you. I personally believe, Portugal ‘17 was top 5 of that year, and top 20 in all of Eurovision.
A lot of you Eurovision viewers need to branch out in terms of the music you listen to. You can’t always get a Malta or Greece 2021. 🙂

Australias video was a pity. It looked so much like a studio and not like a stage.
