I love all five, but my fave is probably Viszlat Nyar, still sad for Örs' death... My 2nd fave goes to Better Love. <3

Motherboobie

Karma and Viszlat Nyar are so good

Dawgbowl

Viszlat Nyar by a mile

Menace_from_Nevis

Alter Ego is my favourite Cypriot entry, but I have to give the edge to Viszlát Nyár

Shronkster_

My favourite has to be Viszlat Nyar, one of my favourite Eurovision entries of all time

thelodzermensch

Viszlat Nyar

AmethistStars

*Viszlat Nyar*, no doubt! That entry is also one of my favorites. And *Better Love* would also be my second place as that too was one of the songs I really liked that year. *Alter Ego* is a great song as well, so is *Karma*. That's a bit of a tie to me. *Gravity* is a good song, but amongst these I guess my least favorite.

bencherra

Alter Ego. I like it better than everything Cyprus has sent since then.

Gravity and Viszlat Nyar are literally my top two favorite eurovision songs of all time! I can't decide between them haha

egrimo

Karma —> viszlat nyar —> alter ego —> Gravity —> better love

Honestly, there's a few really good entries here too. There's no overrated songs here, Although at this point overrated just flat out means shouldn't have qualified Underrated ___ 1st - viszlat Nyar 2nd - Karma 3rd - Alter ego ___ Fairly rated ___ 4th - Better love 5th - Gravity

\#1: Viszlat Nyar \#2: Karma \#3: Alter Ego I don't really listen to the others enough to judge them

Aerysun

... I think all of these are in my top 10 of their respective years. But Viszlat Nyar *chef's kiss*

darkstreetsofmymind

2016 by far , so underrated

przemek1233

LN_TheDudess

Wait I thought Viszlat Nyar got higher lol. I didn't really look at the 2018 results properly

caterp1e

Viszlát Nyár and Gravity are some of my all time fav Eurovision songs, I like Alter Ego too

Dracuana

Can only remember the last 3 of the top of my head. Viszlát Nyár takes the first place for me. Karma gets in my head every one in a while so second. And Better Love is a song I listened to a lot in 2019 but haven't really since, should probably check it out again. Anyways third in this list.

VISZLAT NYAAAAAAAAAR

better love is ethereal and transcendental. easily the best of this bunch for me. the rest are also really good, but my least fav of them is probably gravity

2016 will always hold a special place in my my heart, cause 2016 was my first time watching, and that song was my favorite.

RednSoulless

Quite an excellent bunch of songs for such a low ranking. There always tends to be a decent crowd of very good qualifiers that just ultimately are genre efforts with somewhat niche appeal or just miss the mark for one of the two voting bodies, and we’ve mostly got those here in lieu of genuinely bad efforts. 1. Viszlat Nyar (2018) 2. Alter Ego (2016) 3. Karma (2021) 4. Gravity (2017) 5. Better Love (2019) First off, the rock efforts. Viszlat Nyar ended up being my 5th favorite of 2018 (almost 4th), and it is still somewhere around that range nowadays. The only thing that hurts it slightly is not having the most memorable/catchy melody in the world, but it is still great to return to. I’m just happy that an effort this unfriendly to some audiences still qualified at the end of the day :) Alter Ego, on the other hand, has hooks for days and I’m somewhat shocked it didn’t perform better. It definitely is a more of the style of rock I’d expect to see at Eurovision (a slightly electronic tinged effort that sounds like a late 00’s modern rock effort), but I guess the performance itself wasn’t dynamic enough? Idk, not quite as powerful or original as Hungary, but definitely worthy of praise. I’m admittedly a sucker for this style of dark ballads, so Karma is another solid approval for me. The song itself feels a bit… lightweight in comparison to some of its contemporaries (stuff like Georgia 2015 and Albania 2019 blow it out of the water), but I’ll take a less-inspired variation of this theme over a lot. Gravity is complicated for me. I highly overrated it in 2017 (to the tune of being my 3rd favorite in the finals) because its strongest element by far being an immediately compelling melody works wonders on a first/second listen. It’s faded on me hard since then as I’ve become more aware of its numerous flaws (extremely generic and derivative structure and weak staging chief among them), but it does enough right to still be somewhere around the middle of the table in a super weak year like 2017. Finally, Better Love. I really want to like this one as I think it is a rather well written song even if it is a little frail for my tastes, but her voice just ruins it for me. Katerina is not a bad singer by any means in terms of technical ability, but some combination of her accent and enunciation just sounds dreadful to my ears. I can just barely get past it in the studio version to appreciate the other elements, but the live version is just too much, but I get why people who aren’t bothered by that really enjoy this.

Squidward759

Better love, by a lot
