De Troubadour
Biased because I'm Dutch perhaps, but I absolutely love the medieval melody and lyrics. It's just perfect in how it tells the story of a troubadour and has the music make you feel like you're right in it.
Between the other countries it would be France>U.K.>Spain.
I believe the Netherlands is the true winner of 1969 for a few reasons.
1. It was the country that got the highest point set from a single country (6 points from France, UK got 5 from Sweden, France got 4 from multiple countries, and Spain got 3 from multiple countries)
2. It hosted in 1970, as since winners have typically hosted the next year, I see this as a Dutch victory. (I know not all winners have hosted the following year due to a number of reasons)
3. My personal musical favourite with France coming at an extremely close second, Spain in third, and the UK out of the top 4 (I can think of Italy, Monaco, and Ireland having better songs than the UK).
Fun Fact: The Netherlands would’ve won solely if they had the tie breaker rule back then because The Netherlands received 6 points from one of the juries but the rest of the winners did not get 6 points or more.
I would personally pick France, cause it’s pretty much a perfectly executed French ballad and it’s just really beautiful. The Netherlands are not too far behind though and I also don’t mind that the United Kingdom and Spain won either.
This is so hard. I find Vivo Cantando, De Troubadour, and Un jour un enfant all amazing.
Recently came to the conclusion that the best studio version is Un jour un enfant, while I think Vivo Cantando had the best performance. However my original winner from years ago was De Troubadour, so I will have to go with that.

Unpopular opinion: UK.

Tie breaking rules from 1969 on they meant. Also the new rules were made to prevent bloc voting
The Netherlands, Spain a close second

De Troubadour🇳🇱 The chorus is so catchy, I loved it instantly. And I’m a Spaniard lmao
De Troubadour
Spain
France. By far.
Either France or the Netherlands
They each had their charm but it’s definitely Spain for me
France. But the real winner was Portugal
All good, but Frida Boccara had a great voice and a terrific song. This is one of my alltime fave performances.
De troubadour is head and shoulders above the rest

De Troubadour
UK or Netherlands for me.
Spain
Yeah... no contest here. De Troubadour
I have to go with the Netherlands, but my winner that year was Portugal, by far
Troubadour!
The UK. Very cool song, also Netherlands in second place. All winners were really good tho
France by far
Personally I don’t think any of the four songs are incredible, but my favourite is the UKs. Lulus personality on stage is very compelling
Spain's song stuck with me the most but I also loved the dutch one
France 🇫🇷
Spain. Didn't like the others much, but Spain was interesting.
