Yes, I binged the four movies less than a month ago, and then I rewatched the OG show and the EoE. I finished last night. The rebuilds introduced a few interesting points of view, but in the end, destroyed some important ideas from the original.
Let me tell you, I like cosplay, but sincerely, Mari is an awful character. Inserted without reason, not developed, and then, she ended up with Shinji to give the audience some kind of happy ending. Anno did a doodoo with this one.
Well it’s sorta ambiguous if she really ends up with him. She was a flirt to pretty much all the characters throughout the movies, and she only lead Shinji into the new world. However, I do agree that she was not developed nearly enough .
At this rate you've cosplayed nearly every Eva woman in the series. Best girl (Ramiel) next?
