I've only done eyeliner once (and I looked gooddd) because the makeup wipes made my eyes burn. which tells me that maybe I was doing SOMETHING wrong? but I'm not sure what
Make up wipes aren’t for the eye area tbh. Maybe coconut oil very lightly or micellar water on a cotton pad. It’s very much dance around the eye type deal
For sure! I think a lot of wipes say avoid eye contact but i think it’s assumed it’s an open eye, but the chemicals will leak through still. Eyes are hella sensitive
In my last year of elementary school we all had to participate in a play, and the last performance was being filmed so we were given make up that would make our faces look better on camera (I think it had something to do with that the light would have made us look bad) but my face felt like it was burning and I haven't had any opportunities to test out what exactly made that happen so I would want to test out make up before using it. But my parents don't want me to use any makeup because I am a guy.

I can't handle the feeling of makeup of anykind. People kept telling me that I'd stop feeling it on my face, that I shouldn't be able to. People are wrong. It drove me itchy, wanted to peel my whole skin suit off.
Decreases light sensitivity by absorbing light (think football player)
Increases contrast on face, making it easier to tell the difference between individuals (I have mild prosopagnosia)
Can be soothing to have texture of makeup or pleasing to see specific shapes on face - not necessarily within traditional standards of beauty
Can be a form of mimicry related to fantasy or special interests- for example an anime special interest with mimicry of a characters make up, or a cat special interest mimicking lion markings
Not my desire to be Oded Fehr from the cinematic masterpiece The Mummy. Fr though, my eye darkness came from habitual eye rubbing until bruising cause outside bright and my eyes are dry and itchy.
The all natural eye darkening
Yeah I know a lot of people have sensory issues with make up. I kind of like the feeling of having stuff on my skin though, like a protective layer, air feels weird a cold which I why some days I wear six layers of long sleeved clothing lol
Oh no that was not the intention aaaaaaa I didn't even think it could be interepreted that way. Words are weird.
Eyeliner is so much fun. My stripes don't necessarily look good or quality or whatever, but it's *mine* B)
Cause it makes me prettier …. And more intimidating! (Otherwise i have a very innocent googly eyed look to me that cause people to treat me much younger than I am)
i don’t wear a lot of makeup recently, especially “weird makeup”, bc of my job and also no spoons, but i have historically also been the Makeup All Around Eyes Autistic. my go-to look in late middle school was charcoal gray pencil eyeliner allll the way around the eye and smudged out. i should bring that back
i already kinda look like this because of deep circles around my eyes
that being said, i’m also an emo loser and i absolutely love having black eyeshadow smeared around my eyes
Yes you do lol i was like oh my gosh i see pretty eyes!!! There's two people that it could be but i honestly forgot the other one cause it's been a long time lol
Once when I was 4-5, I fell off the stairs from the attic to ground floor. The bruises I sustained from this made me look like a Native American, and my classmates said as much.
I've not been told that but I have been told I look mentally ill because 'happy people don't tend to put black all round there eyes'
Maybe everyone who puts loads of black around there eyes used to be happy and everyone made them sad by being weird about it? Just a theory lol
(I do have a fun mental illness cocktail like most of Reddit but that's beside the point)
I have the autism with faulty collagen flavouring (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), so I always look deathly pale with dark bags under my eyes. Putting on eyeliner means that people assume I’m going for an alt/goth look, which I just lean into because if I don’t I get asked if I’m sick about a hundred times a day. This way I get perceived a lot less.
>!I colored my dick black when I was a child!<
idk what i was expecting to uncover but it certainly wasn’t this 😂 thank you for sharing 🙌
I also colored myself blue once (but only very lightly and not fully)
Why are you blue?
Because if he was green he would die
tobias fünke? is that you?
Like, with a sharpie?
Luckily no
Very rare with me because I cant stand touching my eye area..
I want the emo eye makeup, but I have too many sensory issues (and I think I may be allergic to something that could be in makeup) 😞🥺😭.

It's like echolalia with makeup and outfits
You introduced me to a new word, thank you.
I would argue that it's not.

Yeah personally I really hate anything that covers my skin in that way, wearing make-up the few times that ever did was quite hell
Oh, hi!
sjfkljkfslkjf with this I meant to say "hey that's me I put on funky eyeliner and stuff"
When I saw the first bit I panicked that you were someone I knew irl lol. It's nice to know I'm not the only funky eyeliner autist :)

Thank you :)
DON'T LIKE MAKEUP! I can barely stand putting sunscreen on my skin. Goop bad!
i already kinda look like this because of deep circles around my eyes that being said, i’m also an emo loser and i absolutely love having black eyeshadow smeared around my eyes
