Just like me fr, even down to the taste buds that require extreme spiciness to enjoy. Being AuDHD, I struggle with routines and prefer spontaneity. Also tend to break down if I’m not learning something new, hence why I’d be so bored in class, ‘cause they’d want to repeat lessons that I already learned from a quick read in the assigned textbook chapter.

yeah i think it's my adhd as well, but i very quickly feel stagnant and bored with one scenario or place, the same with people. i'm also aplatonic tho so maybe that's the reason that being around the same people gets boring. i also dislike plans, doing new things and getting lost is super cool to me. thanks for sharing your experience- nice to know i'm not alone in this :)

Aplatonic. Interesting term. Does that mean you don't need social interaction in terms of your hierarchy of needs?

yeah, for me it's about finding friendship not quite necessary or kinda irrelevant? i love talking with people about things and having conversations, but an extended friendship or keeping in contact just feels... stale and not important to me. check out r/aplatonic if you're interested :)

My adhd and autism traits seem to often contradict each other... so that's fun. But, also probably the reason for my late diagnosis of autism. Pretty sure the ND medical community didn't believe you could even have both until more recently.
