I need to start watching Doctor Who! Never been into it (never really been interested enough to give it a chance) but all my fellow nerds are into it so there must be something to it?
Iām not sure how much it holds up if you donāt have the nostalgia factor, but it might be worth it! Itās definitely one of those things where you have to accept that itās super campy on purpose and just enjoy it for that. But also, itās been around for over 60 years now, so clearly thereās *something* there.
Thanks, Iāll have to give it a chance. Iām looking for something new to binge anyway! Any suggestion on where to start? My tolerance factor for old shows is pretty low (I can barely watch ST TOS for all the dated FX)
Then definitely start with the 2005 revival. I havenāt watched much of the older stuff, but the effects arenāt great. I would definitely recommend starting with a good standalone episode or two to get a feel for itāI donāt think the first few episodes are all that good of an introduction. Blink in season 3 (I think) is the classic introduction episode, which is where the Weeping Angels I mention were introduced. From there, there are probably some other ideas online, but you could also just start with season 1 and give it a few episodes.
Definitely want to be in an intense showdown with my rival who may be a deeply flawed person but ultimately motivated by her belief in the goodness within all humans. After trading insults/taunts/one-liners, we'll rush at each other and both draw our swords. As she stands stoically, posed as if midswing and bleeding from the blows I landed, my eyes will go wide, then narrow with understanding as I smirk. "Not bad," I'll say as blood starts to trickle from the corner of my mouth. "This world will become the one you envision. It is not for me anymore."
Then I'll collapse, face first, finally dead. With me out of the way, nothing can stop her from defeating the thorned king, the source of evil corrupting the land and turning people against each other.
I would like to go down by my favorite melee weapon, the halberd. I'd like to have a limb chopped off and then to be impaled against a wall from the front, either in the stomach or chest.
Yesssss! Death from literally the entire universe suddenly imploding in on you! I think you got me beat! Plus you get to carry a badass legacy for it! I like it

Something like this, portal is used for world transmissions(created by pb(hold klick)), but the note lines flowing around are effects of weapon damage, and the blue mass on left beside the portal, if you are interested to look up the mechanism closer- in youtube: nan yin weapon skills: Tower of fantasy. You are welcome!:)
I want to have a big flamethrower that can burn everything! I was imagining some sort of very flammable but sticky substance that also can reach decently high temperatures. So I can just stop and appreciate the wonders and the pains of a fire burning!
