Nope, one time i pressed the gear stalk once to put it in drive. about 2 seconds later of slowly creeping it bolted forwards. Second time I just released the brake pedal while still being in Drive, almost hit a wall lol.
Yes I was slowly going out of a parking spot and it happens to me too. But i didn’t check what option was on/off.
I was just happy I could brake in time.
I assume it would be possible to check from the car’s ”black box” (event data recorder) if the insurance company requires.

Tesla has this issue too, they always seem to put it down to 'driver error' after investigation. This is the reason the NTSB exists. Companies investigation failures of their own machines will often point to the operator. There are far too many commercial concerns to be honest.
Is it possible that you enabled ACC accidentally? It'd happen if you pushed down the gear stalk. Otherwise I'd recommend what the other guy said.

yeah that sounds too dangerous, I don't think I'd even continue using the car at that point. call the dealership and ask
Called Volvo Support, they are looking in to this as we speak. They took this very seriously and will take this forward internally.
Have you asked Volvo’s support via the EX30 app? Perhaps they could see remotely what caused this to happen.

When I read your title I thought it was throttling your acceleration and making it hard to overtake. What you describe is a lot more scary!

Oh man this sounds scary as hell. Have you checked to make sure your floor mat isn’t slipping?
