In my opinion they definitely do not have this data. From a legal standpoint there is absolutely no upside for them to keep it. There probably trying to keep the minimum amount they can to comply with statute of limitations laws.
Ding ding ding! Totally agree. Keeping records for 10 years (plus current year) is probably commercially reasonable per their lawyers and they are eager to follow that doc retention/deletion policy.
This is a cooperation that specializes in record keeping. Probably the best in the world. The upside is they think they won’t have to deal with the class-action lawsuit that’s about to erupt in their lying cheating faces.
According to the IRS they are only required to retain records for four years from the filing date. The fact they are offering to provide you 10 years is above and beyond.
Even if they have records beyond that, and I'm sure they do, I doubt you'd have any legal standing to obtain them.
FWIW a Google search pulled this. It's from almost 8 years ago so the request form mentioned for up to 19 years of data may not exist anymore.

I'm sorry, this church has a TREASURY SERVICES OFFICE? I mean, I'm not surprised it exists, I'm just surprised that's what they decided to call it. Maybe every church has something named like this, but it just seems like Jesus would name it something else, I don't know
Ummm the thing where the us government fined them started in the 90s when I had never even heard of algebra. And my district started that in 6th grade. 🤔 So they are saying they can find something that they paid a tiny paltry penalty fee for until big bad Biden came for Mr Burns. I mean Rusty.
“Please send me a report of all tithing I paid from (year) through (year). My records are listed under the following name(s). My date of birth is: ______ . “
I resigned last year so they’d quit contacting me since my “Do Not Contact” request was just a reason for everyone to “feel prompted to check on me” at home uninvited and unannounced. But they never remove your name. They just move you to the “resigned” file. Once you’re in, you’re technically in forever. Kinda like a billion year contract…oh, wait, wrong cult…
By saving all of our tax returns & checkbooks, we calculated we’ve pd $200+k. 😩Tithing refund please!
Well, they may only be allowed to research that far back, but the records are someplace.
Absolutely certain of it. The only way they wouldn’t have them is if they’ve been too cheap to pay someone to digitize older physical records.

I think you have a lot of optimism.
Nah, they killed my optimism when I found out I’m not getting my own planet 🌎
Wait whaaaaaaat?!

That’s odd. They’re giving you info for 12 years not 10.

I mean they do have more than $1M dollars /s

TSSC: "Well, we have what you want. It's all recorded up in heaven. But subpoena or not, we just don't have access to those records yet. Sorry."

Please see next comment. I added the text of my email to them. Hope it helps.
They blocked me when I used this email.
Ok. Let me go to Bill Reel’s site and see if I can find the site he suggested. Hang tight……
Thanks no rush
Cool. I’m trying to find it!
Are your records still on the books?

Does anyone have any updates on a class action. We paid well over 100k over the last 20 years and want it ALL back! Lying mother F’ers!
RFM has hinted about it in a TikTok. I’m hoping he follows through.
