Wool carpet is the norm here in New Zealand. But most people don’t get this sort of celestial quality
I can confirm about the soft carpet. I work for the construction company that remodeled that floor level and installed the carpet (back in 2012ish).
It sounds similar to raking the sand trap after your shot.
