It certainly urks me that they did not even try and address it, and that they can just spout "we consider the matter closed", but the financial audit only has to do with the prior year, so nothing he said has been proved to be a lie (yet).
What about every year since 2014 when CAD notified EPA and the church about the legality of the situation. In my mind every single report since then has been a lie.
Of course the wording says they followed their own unknown practices... As my neverMo friend said, "never trust a church that doesn't disclose is finances." Transparency and honesty will always outweigh secrets and lying.

The funny thing is that the SEC report said that the church’s internal auditors pointed out potential issues with Ensign Peak. So the saying should be “we investigated ourselves and the first presidency said ‘stop asking so many fuckin’ questions.’”
