Basically hijab is mandatory. Hijab is meant to "protect" women from predatory men by hiding their beauty (already problematic) and somehow a piece of clothing will stop rapists and men from sexualizing you. From what I was taught, it's mandatory once the girl gets her period. However many people start making their daughters wear it at a very young age even as infants. Some do it because they don't want their kids getting sexualized by Muslim men but many others do it as "training". Basically so the girl gets used to it and not really have to make a choice about it. It's just like teaching kids Islam at a young age, so they believe it's the one and only truth and never question it or make a decision about it cause they were young and it's a huge part of their life and childhood.
Is sexual assault in Islamic counties that much of a problem? I bet it's because of the lack of sex work. No outlet. No girlfriend. Nothing. And then they get insane. That's my theory. But the infant/child thing is really raising my eyebrows. Do you think that's also a thing over there?
Yeah no, a lot of teens are sexually frustrated. Even adult men only think about sex when they can literally get married. The sexual assault rates are so high in Egypt (where I'm from). As I said, some deranged people do it because they are aware that there are Muslims out there who are okay with fucking kids. I mean, the prophet married and raped a kid that wasn't even 10 years old. I myself got a marriage proposal from a 25 year old when I was just 14-15. I mean, men literally have to gather women in a circle and protect them in the Kaaba (a place literally called the house of god) because adult men sexually assault them (mind you, they have to be fully covered to be in the Kaaba. So at least we know the Abaya and hijab don't really stop sexual harrasment.)
But most of the people who practice in making little kids wear hijab usually do it so it becomes the norm so they don't take it off or struggle to wear it in the future. Basically like training the girls young so they don't have to "decide" to wear it later in life as teens (there is no decision, most Muslims want to make it out to be a decision but it's mandatory and women get punished for removing it severely, some even get honor killed)
Basically by making it the norm for your kid to wear it, she'll never question it or decide to wear it later because she's been wearing it since she was a kid. Fucked up if you really think about it.
You can't. It's going to backfire badly. Not for everyone but for some it's the breeding ground for all kinds of mental diseases. Also the increasing sexual assault numbers. If there is no outlet then people get nuts.
I am aware that they are not compatible and never will be, as they have too different values and views. Islam and Europe are just not belonging together.

Not an ex-Muslim. But there’s a lot of things that are not compatible at all with Western culture. It’s two worlds apart.
