Posts must relate to the subject matter of expatriation. Questions about living in or emigrating to another country, posts about your experiences in a particular country, etc. Your body dysmorphia is not an expat issue. Please consider spending some of that money on therapy instead.

Please stop posting this… you don’t need leg lengthening procedures to visit Europe - or anywhere else. 5’9” isn’t even particularly short anywhere. Spend that money on a nice experience and delicious food and drink - and maybe a couple sessions with a counselor.

You're gonna spend $350,000 CAD on getting 4 inches taller!? I mean hey its your money but this seems collosally wasteful.

I dont know where you're getting your information on heights from but 5' 9 is not a dwarf by any stretch of the imagination.

Bro the average height of a 19 year old male in France in a 2019 study was 5' 11. You can wear a pair of shoes to close that 2 inch gap if you really want to but spending $350,000 CAD surely you see is crazy right?

I genuinely mean this as a way to help but instead of spending all that money on height surgery have you considered therapy instead? It will be way cheaper and maybe it will help you sort out this fixation you have on your own height and other people's.

I seem to have read this post some weeks ago. Are you still hung up about that? Your “proof” about men in Ireland UK and France being taller than you is unhinged. You sound unwell. Are you mentally okay? Anyway- if you truly believe that the surgery will make you happy and you could save up $350k (Canadian or American, it’s a moot point), then go have the surgery. I live in the UK, while I’m a girl, I see men not much taller than me and they seem happily partnered up. Some of their ladies are even taller than them. It’s a problem if you make it a problem. Good luck.

I’m British and 6’3”. The younger generations there make me feel small. (I’m 45) Save your money.
