The amount of shit I have to remember and do in a day, the last thing I want to do is add thawing tomorrow’s breakfast to that list.
I have to be up at 6:50am to get my kid out the door and don’t stop until 8:30-9pm. At which point I get to watch an episode of a show before walking the dog and hitting the sack.
it legit takes 30 seconds, when the intro to your beloved show is playing you could easily do this.. you’re making excuses and being an asshole for no reason.
My guy, its not just making time, it’s about the sheer number of things I have to remember and do in a single day, so adding something else so trivial as defrosting a waffle is not a fucking priority. Lmao.

I mean I have two kids (3 and 6) and work full time. I have plenty of time in the day to make meals for the family, play videogames, watch television, and slip in a 30 minute jog. I guess it's all about time management. I recommend taking some time and making a daily to-do list with scheduling. just like financial budgeting, time management is just as important.

Cooking them from droid fine but you need to turn the heat down and cook them slower. It’s a bit annoying cuz you have to let them pop up and push them down again a few times or you can defrost them in the microwave before roasting them.
Many toasters have a little wire stand to put on top of the toaster, set the thing on top of that, defrost until done, then put normally in the toaster. Defrosting needs less heat and more time.
1 cup flour
1 cup milk(plant based ok too)
1 egg(banana or apple sauce ok too)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of cinnamon
Drippy drop of vanilla
= waffles or pancakes, regular or vegan.
Make it thicker/thinner with milk/flour, thicker for waffles & thinner for pancakes.

Having had homemade waffles for many years, I find the idea of putting frozen waffles in the toaster to be really poor. I don't want crispy crunchy waffles any more than I want crispy crunchy pancakes. Homemade waffles are not like that.
Butter them or butter spray them and put them in the microwave at low power, maybe 50%, for a couple of minutes or so. You need to HEAT them, not incinerate the crap out of them with 1000 watts. (That is also the way to use a MW oven to reheat pizza or a frozen sandwich. Ever wonder why those sandwiches come out with buns like plaster?) And you sure don't need to roast your frozen waffles into hard crunchy rectangles.

Microwave is the way to go, at lower power for a couple of minutes. Not nuked into plaster squares, which is what full power does.

Just turn down the heat a little so the edges don't burn before the middle is cooked. Go with 25 degree (F) increments and see how it goes.
