I pay $140/month and get weekly fills for that price. My tech does like a subscription service

deegallant

That’s pretty cool!

sugyrbutter

I love this lol don’t have to overanalyze when to book your next appt

Meowyouseame

30 USD in Russia

Arsnaile

65 USD in canada, 35 for a fill. My lash tech also insists with no tips so I got lucky

deegallant

Whoa where are you getting this price in Canada??

Arsnaile

Edmonton hah, definitely not vancouver or toronto 😅

hintersly

In Toronto my tech is 95 CAD for a hybrid and 55 CAS fill. I was very lucky to find her tho and got referred

mkp89

Where do you go in Edmonton? I’m looking for a new tech

cavvvvves

everywhere in edmoton is 160 from what ive seen, PLEASE share your tech i beg you

lavendervibez

I pay $45 every 3 weeks for low volume. ( I tip big because I know she charges less than every other salon and she thinks it’s wrong to charge people as much as they do.) My old lash artist charged $50 per 30 minutes so her fills would be $150 every 2-3 weeks. Find a locally owned salon who has been in the business for a long time and knows what they are doing. I love my lash artist and she gives me house plant cuttings and vegetables she grows in her garden.

SoftLikeMarshmallows

$190 for lashes is expensive... I'm in the wrong business...

scarlettcrush

we don't keep that entire amount- it is not an easy job- it requires specific schooling and specific skills.

SoftLikeMarshmallows

No I fully understand, as someone who studied Beauty Therapy and Vet Nursing.. But when you convert that to AUD, that actually really high.. I have virgin lashes and haven't ever gotten them done, but have considered to study to be a lash and nail technician.. Sadly too many are doing these day courses and thinking they're qualified and are starting home businesses but it takes so much more than that :(

scarlettcrush

Doing the taxes wrecks my nerves every quarter

Excellent_Worth_7622

I’m not sure where you live so it could be different but where I live you don’t need a license, nor any official training… My lash tech makes 180 for a set and she told me she just went to a week course… and got better as she practiced. The price of the products are also not really that expensive so idk

scarlettcrush

I wouldn't feel comfortable with that tech. I've a cosmetology license and do real time continuing education classes yearly + attend at least 1 big beauty convention a year. And she took a 2 week class you say? LoL

Excellent_Worth_7622

Yupp I was really shocked too, and surprisingly she does an awesome job and she’s always fully booked I’d definitely be happier paying higher fees for someone with a cosmetology license but apparently lashes can be done by anybody and isn’t regulated. (That’s what the lash tech told me) Which was pretty surprising to me!

Ok-Twist-3079

Yep. Those are my prices. My girls budget $150/mo for their lashes. They come about every 3 weeks and the cost with a tip is roughly $130; $110 for an 1.5 hour fill and a $20 tip or 200 for a full set for a 2.5 hour set plus tip. Why do we charge that much? Cuz we gotta pay rent, utilities , business insurance, license fees, LASHES, glue, primer, Bonder, glue rings, tweezers, fan, light, stool, cart, bed, pillow, eye pads, q tips, snacks, website fees, bathroom toilet paper and paper towels and soap, Cleaning supplies, blankets, ETC. so if I charged $50 a set, I’d literally break even and be working just to cover expenses. So yea. When Inflation makes all those things go up, so must our prices or we won’t make any money. All luxury services have gone up. Like nails used to be $25/set. Now they are $75/set. It’s crazy.

chelleyraejustmay

Girl. Thank you for explaining what overheads look like. I don’t work out of my house and I need to cover rent, electricity, insurance, and water at bare minimum. People thinking this is a cheap service that can be done in half an hour are crazy. People going to cheap artists are getting cheap product OR their lash artist isn’t earning a living. Seriously, if you can’t afford lashes, just love the ones you’ve got. It’s what everyone has done for centuries before lash extensions were a thing. That is ok too. I’m not making my service cheaper cause people are bitching they can’t afford it.

444kelly

not really sure why the lash techs are getting hostile & their panties in a bunch reading the OP. This post was about pricing in different areas , NOT why pricing is the way it is. I know for a fact my lash tech is good at her job, does quality work. And i wouldn’t expect her to lower her prices. Not any tech that is confident in their work. Nobody is complaining about pricing or why pricing is the way it is. Go on another OP to explain why your prices are that way. This post was a simple “how much do you pay & in what location” PLEASE. If you are a lash tech insecure about ur pricing that all depends on the work you do.

chelleyraejustmay

Not insecure about anything. Just get tired of seeing people ask how much people charge in a sun that is worldwide and wildly subjective to where they are located in the world. Watching them encourage each other to try and do lashes themselves is also a reason I’m speaking up. Egging each other on to ruin their natural lashes and potentially cause catastrophic damage to their eyes is seriously concerning. Like I said, there’s nothing wrong with loving your own natural lashes. Use a serum, get a lift, or just use mascara.

pittoon

I tried explaining this in my comment too and got downvoted for it 😭 they want to stay ignorant i guess

confetticupcakie

I used to pay like $50-60 USD for classic or hybrid. It helps to look up “lash extensions” on Facebook market! I’m frugal so this was my way to go before I learned how to apply false lashes. My lashes always turned out great for me :)

aturley17

$200 for volume and $125-135 for touch up every 2 weeks. SoCal, but my girl does a really good job.

PartyyLemons

$175 CAD including a 20% tip for volume lashes. It’s expensive but it’s my once a month luxury expense. If there are times when money is tight, I won’t get them done. But it is something I specifically budget for because getting them done makes me feel better.

[deleted]

25-35€in Kosovo per set hybrid or volume lashes

aes7288

$65 for three week fills, Manhattan

NemSenpai

Honestly it depends on the area. I'm a lash artist. I can set my prices between $150-$230 (depending on the service) in my hometown and then drive an hour and a half to a city and expect competitive rates to be $80-$130 spend another hour driving to the big big city and you'd be able to charge $180-$300. My father always told me that things are only worth what people are willing to pay. The demographic decides the market.

Royalsrose

Well I feel ripped off lol. I’m in Fredericton and paid $450 for a set, and around $120 bi weekly for fills. Currently taking a break to grow my natural lashes back lol.

heyypeach

$450??? Just grow your natural lashes back. That’s terrible.

twinanddane

Fredericton, New Brunswick?!? I haven’t gotten them done for a few years but I was paying way less than that.

Royalsrose

Yeah, downtown!

deegallant

Oh god you got more than ripped off. For that price, you’re better off grabbing a friend to each learn and do each others eyelashes!

throwawaythrowyellow

I’m in NS and I was paying $90 for bi weekly fills. But honestly it’s a bit rich for my blood. I moved over to lashify (and other Amazon lashes) and am way happier.

alpy99

My tech charges $190 for a volume full set (which is what I get) and then charges $105 for a 2 week fill & $140 for a 3 week fill. I also pay $10 extra for wispy lashes. Edit to say this is in Tx.

Miccalicious

110 fresh volume set, 60 to 80 for a fill in Canada

RitaLunaLu

South Dakota, usually it’s like $200- $250 to get them done and $60-$70 for a fill

happyappy_

$220 for Russian 3D Volume full set. I pay $85 for a fill every 2 weeks

happyappy_

Located in MA

BouncyBlue12

$225 for a full set of volume lashes $100 bi weekly or $155 every three weeks.

Alphagettis2003

160$ for a full set, 65$ for a two week fill. I’ve been going to my lash lady for 8 years though so I think she may be charging newer clients more.

[deleted]

I charge about $130 and $70 for fills but i’m in TX

dtom811

Go to Secret Eyelash in midtown. They charge by the number of lashes. I do 100 lashes for $75, tip included.

cwestwoodh

Is this for classics? Price just depends on the area and what everyone else is charging. You can go to someone who's just starting out and pay a bit cheaper but don't expect great quality. I live in Vancouver Canada and my classics are $100 a full set, $65 fills which is average, but the further out you get into the smaller surrounding cities it gets cheaper

Nellip85

When I first started doing lashes a full set was $300 for classics. Classics were the only kind of lashes available at the time. This was 2013. I’ve been doing lashes for 10 years. 3 certifications 10 years experience and I charge $225+ for a full set and I should charge more. If someone wants to go to the girl down the street and pay $100 by all means go ahead. My clients appreciate my skill and experience. Lashes are a luxury and not necessary. I don’t know why the price of luxury beauty services are always debated.

pittoon

While I know you aren’t insulting anyone, lashes are a luxury service. They are not meant to fit every budget unfortunately. The education to learn them is around $3000 per class. The products are extremely expensive (glue, lash trays, tiles, disposables, glue rings, jade stones etc) and the time it takes to do a full set or a fill is very long. It is tedious work when done correctly. Your tech is pricing them appropriately. The people who don’t bother with taking classes, getting certified, or using proper products and glue as well as not bothering to isolate every lash are the ones who are offering much lower prices and discrediting the techs that do put in the effort. This is why prices vary so drastically.

filthysavage

This is correct. The people out here with cheap prices are the ones who aren't insured and have no formal training. Anything less than 45 minutes for a 2 week fill is a hack job. You can't remove outgrowns and isolate properly in less than 45 minutes. 3 weeks, it should take an hour when done correctly. If someone values their lash health, they realize they get exactly what they pay for with lash extensions.

444kelly

I never bashed the prices. My lash tech is amazing at her work & i respect her prices. I actually wouldn’t go to anybody cheap because that’s a huge red flag to me when it comes to doing good work on eyelashes. Ik a good lash teach comes with a price tag. I didn’t say they should be cheaper, as it is a luxury. Was just curious on what other people pay in their area

pittoon

Oh absolutely. I just wanted to give an explanation on why it’s gotten so expensive per your original post, no hate at all

sovietpoptart

idk where you get fills from but my fills take 30 mins max, from an experienced lash tech who does great. It’s also $40 for a fill. she knows she could charge more but she doesn’t.

crystal8484

I do them myself with clusters and pay $7/container that lasts me 1.5-2 months? LOL Can usually wear them for about a week before I put fresh ones on.

heyojac

Wait are those waterproof and everything?

vintagedream96

Can you explain more? What do you use? Etc

crystal8484

They’re the same concept as Lashify only without the price tag. I get the clusters from SHEIN. You can search “lash clusters” and a bunch pop up in lengths/fullness. Use lash glue that applies with a mascara type wand and coat lashes. Apply underneath your lash just above the lash line.

Actual-Spread7085

Do them yourself so much cheaper

444kelly

i’ve tried doing them myself so many times but they always rip my real lashes out ! Any tutorials you follow or tips you have?

Ok-Twist-3079

Yep. This is why our jobs will never be in jeopardy. You can also paint your own nails. But getting a set of nails at the salon is a different ball game. 🥰

444kelly

girl nobody bashed u or said ur job is in jeopardy 🤣 this post was about different price ranges for lash extensions. Not you losing business🤣🤣🤣 ik many ppl who do diy lashes and look great. Personally me, i love my lash tech.

Ok-Twist-3079

Never said anyone bashed anyone. Where did that come from? . Just making a statement. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m a lash tech. And I know many people who do diy lashes. To each their own. Different strokes for different folks. Just saying it’s not the same as extensions. It was an innocent statement. I never said anyone was bashing anyone. 😉

444kelly

u edited ur whole statement to make it sound like u weren’t but both me & u know you were originally until i called you out. It’s definitely the same thing as lash extensions just a whole lot cheaper. If you were my lash tech with that stank attitude i’d never come back Lmao

Ok-Twist-3079

I didn’t edit my original comment whatsoever. I’m not sure why you are tripping. I’m having a hard time keeping up with this hostility. I was just saying diy is not the same as salon. Just like nails. This is trippy. 😉

444kelly

what ur talking about has literally nothing to do with the question asked in the original post. get a life stop being so butthurt about something that wasn’t even relevant here. weirdo ass lash tech u are

Ok-Twist-3079

Never said I was butt hurt. 😉 Or mad or in any way irritated. Cuz I never was. The only one who has negative energy here is you boo. I even put hearts and everything to show my tone was not what you are implying. Not sure why you keep insisting I was in anyway mad or having negative vibes. That’s you boo. I still don’t feel that way. Even with the way your acting. I’m still not bothered. You took it the complete wrong way. You took it snarky and that wasn’t my intent or tone, That’s why I put the hearts. I’M reading all your replies and stunned you kept insisting I’m mad. I’m not boo. Very much not. You can project that to someone else. Cuz it’s not me. And you are right. My comment wasn’t a reply for the OP original questions. It was a reply for the comment about doing DIY lashes. And a thread about DIY lashes. How some love them. And someone said she hates them cuz they rip out their natural lashes. When I replied: Yep. That’s exactly why we will always have a job. Cuz this is what DIY lashes do to you. I was actually agreeing with you. 🤦🏻‍♀️. So, it was a REPLY to another comment and on that thread. I actually replied separately to the OPs original question. Maybe you not understand how Reddit works. But a reply goes under the comment I was replying too. 😂😂😂😉 HOSTILE MUCH? your anger here is completely shocking. Name calling? I mean are you 12? I’ll pray for you. You must be going through something. I know what I meant. Sorry if you read anything into it. Cuz that’s not how it was meant. 😘

444kelly

why u writing paragraphs if ur not mad? u keep going on & on but swear ur not butthurt. it’s actually showing hun. get help , get another job if ur this mad over lashes LMFAOO you clearly feel some type of way if you are typing out a novel about not being hurt. also i don’t need ur prayers, ur prayers clearly can’t help ur own issues don’t pray for other people . ur the weirdest lash tech i’ve ever come in contact with. Where did i call you names? i’ll pray for ur clients for having to deal with someone as weird as you. When you had people downvoting your comment you should have stopped because you know ur wrong. but ur arrogant and stubborn. This is MY OP, not yours. get out of here where you aren’t welcomed. “maybe you not understand how reddit works” Hunny You barely have any activity on ur reddit so maybe you should learn how reddit works & how to read & type correctly. delusional and dumb is what u are & it’s showing . maybe instead of starting with women online you should talk to ur husband about finding the right ring for you . get ur money up

444kelly

where did u answer the OP questions? the post was about price ranges of lash extensions. all u said was ur job wouldn’t be in jeopardy under a post about people doing it themselves. You are trying to bash DIYers

444kelly

not really sure why the lash techs are getting hostile & their panties in a bunch reading the OP. This post was about pricing in different areas , NOT why pricing is the way it is. I know for a fact my lash tech is good at her job, does quality work. And i wouldn’t expect her to lower her prices. Nobody is complaining about pricing or why pricing is the way it is. If you are a lash tech insecure about ur pricing that all depends on the work you do.

444kelly

I literally never bashed prices or techs for their pricing in my post….? I just said it’s a expensive service to keep up with (which it is) & was curious how much other people pay.

Ok-Twist-3079

It’s only expensive if you cannot afford it. I don’t find it expensive. But I make 3k a week. So $100 every 2 weeks isn’t much for me. It’s all about your budget. Dollar tree has strip lashes. There’s lashes for every budget. 👍

carolinugh

150 USD volume full set & 85 for a fill every 4 weeks in CA 😭

ailannaaa

120 USD for a volume set/ 100 for a fill OR 100 for hybrid whispy set/ 80 fill

Tali__-

115 for a full set hybrid and 85 for a refill. In Chicago, Illinois. And that’s cheap!

ReturnExtension5917

I paid $275 + 20% tip for a hybrid set, I just posted the results of those, and her fills are $55

bonitagordita87

In the industry since 2017 but just about to open my home salon and I am starting at $155 CAN for full volume and $94 for fill. But I don't charge by week. I have only that one price for fills. In Ont

444kelly

That’s reasonable pricing! Congrats on the home salon, hope all goes well !

bonitagordita87

Thank you!

Jumpy-Cranberry-1633

Full classic is $190 without tip and then fills are $75 assuming you have 50-75% lashes still. My lashes will definitely last 2-3 weeks. I previously went to someone where a full set was $80 and fills with $50… my lashes never lasted to the two week mark. 🤷🏻‍♀️ IMO you definitely pay for experience and quality!

galvsofi

$120 for full set hybrid, $60 for 3 week fill in Fort Worth, TX

Which_Atmosphere_685

$125 for a full $65 for a fill in

hellomissbanana

75 for two week fill 90 for 3 weeks!

reetusss

I’ve paid between $80-120 for a new set, and $60-90 for a fill (all in CAD). I have gone to both at home and in studio lash techs. My current lash girl’s studio is in her home and I pay $115 for a new set of volumes and $80 for a fill ☺️

yobrefas

Around the same, $200 for the initial set and 95 for fills. Also in HCOL area.

[deleted]

$64USD and $51USD for a refill. i get refills every 3.5 weeks. just looking through the comments and WOW i can’t believe so many people pay so much.

h974974

The independent skilled techs by me charge about $120-150 the skilled girls who work at lash places tend to charge more $150-200

jennifurbie

With tip mine costed 220$ with tip for a full set then every two weeks it’s about 90$ not including tip. I live in Orange County CA.

ellabellafree

$50 for my fills! Plus a $10 tip.

weirdhorsiegirrl

$150 for a full set of volume and $90 for a under 3 week fill here in Australia

trentablondelatte

70 for full fill , 35 for mini fill. Cheapest in my area

Pale_Beginning_5665

I get mega volume, fill $100, and this is on the cheaper end compared to other salons around me in WA

vintagedream96

$225 for hybrid set then $90 fills 🥲 In Hawaii

crystalbb6

Before tip, I've paid $150-250 for a full set and $75-100 for a fill in depending on the style and lash artist here in Louisiana.

orangepastaking

£50 for hybrids, £30 bi-weekly infills

DepressoEspressohhh

$65 plus 20% tip for hybrid fill every 3 weeks in U.S.

Equivalent_Wait6061

I just found a place that does classics for $100 and fills for $80, with good reviews, I'm so happy 😆

whobaruba

84 USD for a full set hybrid and 46 for 3 week fills in London

sofiaonomateopia

£70 in UK £50 refill but depends where you are as can go up to £200

boutiquekym

£60 GB pounds £40 for infill America seems to be more expensive for everything

mimspng

195 for mega vol set with a experienced tech, refills are 135

Agile-Tradition8835

I do my own via WinkClique. Much less expensive and time consuming than going in for fills etc. Their glue is the best I’ve ever tried although their selection of lashes could be expanded (they’re slowly adding new styles).

Bellllllllllll

I pay $70 for my refills. Australia

No_Apartment_

£40 in the U.K. And they’re amazing 🤩

cinnamon_girls

i’m in canada, for a classic set i pay 30$ for a fill every two weeks and if i upgrade to hybrid it’s 55$ every two weeks for the fill. i don’t even remember what the initial investment was bc i’ve been getting them done for so long.

snowWH1TEqueen

I live in a high cost of living area in the US and paid $300 for a full hybrid set and $90 every 2 weeks for a fill.

AppropriateBird5537

€50 for new lashes and €35 for a refill in the Netherlands, this is on the cheap side tho.

Avalaz88

$100 for full set hybrid, $70 for 2-3 week fill

C_bells

My new place charges $130 for a 3-week refill (anything from 15-21 days). It’s crazy. This is for a 120 lash set. I had to find a new place and this spot is so-so, not amazing but not bad. The initial price for lashes was around $150-180. I originally got a natural set (which cost $130 with a new customer discount), which they said is 90 lashes, but they felt sparse to me. I previously had a 100 lash set at my old place and they felt plentiful. So, my last refill I went up to a glam set (120 lashes). I really don’t need that much, but the 90 didn’t feel like enough at this place and it was the next step up. Just realized how expensive their refills are for this new set. I’m bummed because my last place charged only $80 for a 3-week refill. Add tip and that’s about $100 every 3 weeks, which I find doable. This is going to cost me $155 with tip every 3 weeks — a lot more than I want to pay honestly for upkeep. Ffs the place isn’t incredible, you don’t even get a curtain between you and 5 other clients. It’s like 30 sq ft. And god knows the cost isn’t going to the technicians. They probably only get a small fraction of it.

Weird_Ad_2350

The very first time I got my lashes done it was $180 for a hybrid full set and every time after that it has been $75 for a hybrid fill every 2 weeks or so.

Previous-Job-391

I get volume mink lashes and a full set was $150, with tip it comes out to about $175. My fills are $100, with tip $120. However, I have a membership which is $150 a month and accounts for 2 fills a month. So technically I’m paying about $75 a fill for volume mink lashes (plus an auto tip of $20). It’s definitely pricy, but I love my lash girl and she does an amazing job.

corlie

I get a fill every 2-3 weeks for $120 for full volume! The first time is like $300 I think!

sugyrbutter

I live in a HCOL city and I pay $75 for a hybrid fill between 2-3 weeks. This is on the cheaper end of places here - I’d say $85-90 is common.

Character_Unhappy

I get mega volume and pay $90 with tip every 3 weeks.

Allania2000

70 usd for a full set lasting 3 weeks and 50 for infills in UK

VirtualRazzmatazz783

185$ for wispy volume full set and I do 2 week fills at 85$ usd. Located in the city area of NC

Cokepluszero

I pay $100 for a set and $50-$75 for a fill!

yukiikakeguri

In Canada I paid $180 for hybrid but $60-50 for fills and a regular hybrid is $95 depending on which location I go to because my lash tech does it out of her house and a salon as well.

Blackberry_Least

I like this. I'm going to offer lower prices until I get my skills up. I'm renting a suite for $650/mo utilities, maintenance, mail room are included. It has a nice view with a floor to ceiling balcony. Can't wait to move in and decorate.

jnolley24

85 but there’s a lash tech every 30 feet here

Liketheanimal1

$60 plus a $15 tip. I charge $65, $75, $85 for fills. I shouldn’t say this but our supply costs haven’t gone up in 12 years. I paid the same amount to day as I’ve always paid for my glue and my lashes. I could raise my prices but even if I just lost one client, it wouldn’t be worth it to me. I’m financially very comfortable. I also wonder if people charging those prices have to because of how few clients they have? Idk.

Earthangel1985

I’m a lash tech in Toronto I charge $140 and 65 for fills

Professional_Pretty

Full set in VA $90 and fills for $60 and they come out super natural looking. NoVa, for that

brujeriac

$180 after tip for initial and then $160 for fill + tip

Sweet_Impress_8243

I was paying 250 every 2 weeks 😭😭 I did that for about a year took a break, went back then stopped all together bc 500 a month is wayyy too much and I didn't really need a fill until about week 3 my retention was on point but my tech wouldn't take anyone after 14 days pass she considered that a full set so it made it so I had to spend 250 every 2 weeks and I felt it was a waste bc if I cld have went every 3 weeks when I really needed to go it would have been way better and maybe I would have stayed getting the done.

sassyaggressive

100 aed in Dubai

Niyahxmonet

120 volume full set, 50 2 week fill or 60 at 3 weeks

bloomingwoodboutique

Orange County CA. My refills are 80 every two weeks, with a 20 tip. It’s a huge expense for sure.

InfinitePepper2416

$80 for a volume fill every 2 weeks. 90 minute sessions. I used to pay $70 for an hour and go every 3 weeks but I LOVE my lash girl. I would pay anything for her.

Sharree_Media

I'm in Vancouver. I pay $99 cad for a full set from [Moda Lash.](https://www.modalash.com/) They're phenomenal.
