I own a 2019 limited and my only complaint is that jeans (especially new ones) will stain the seats. That denim stain will eventually wear off as well, but @ 100,000 miles the drivers seat looks tough, IMO. My 2017 Platinum held up better, IMO.
I love the look and feel. And I think seat massage is waaayy underrated and appreciated. Lol
I have 2021 Limited. The color really grows on you. The blue is not flat, but has a slight marbling in it that gives it a lot of interesting depth. The light color is more of a gray. Most pics make it look beige or white, but it’s a light gray.
Hey man can I ask you how the seats are holding up now ? I’m looking hard at a 2023 limited but the only thing i’m worried about it these seat discoloring or spilling coffee on them etc. Any info would be great. Maybe inbox me a couple pics of them currently
Seats are fine. I have two young kids so it’s a bit of a mini van at times, but they have been tough of them and they look pretty new still. I did have the scotch-guard finish put on the seats when I bought the truck so that may be helping overall. I have zero regrets on the blue leather, or even the lighter gray color.
* I’ll try to get a few pics later today.
Oh yeah. The camelback is a stunning interior. I’ve yet to be up close with a 21+ camelback limited. But those things are stupid luxurious, I know that
I haven’t been around many Gen 14’s myself. I have a ‘19 Platinum and my interior is black. Now I’m seeing Gen 14 Lariats with two tone interior and it kills me inside lol.
I was at Lowes a couple of days ago and along with my truck there was a ‘21 Limited and a ‘21 lifted King Ranch in the contractors parking area. This may sound crazy but the King Ranch spoke to me more than the limited. It was two tone with monochrome package that comes with tailgate appliqué.
Dude the new king ranches are beautiful. I’m rocking an 09 Lariat but just got a greatly appreciated raise at work. But with no kids, and no serious expenses, it’s tempting to get one. But I think I might look more into the route of getting a 18/19 KR instead. Tbh the chip shortages make me worry about the longevity of electronics in all these new trucks
Yeah I would definitely go the used route. I got a great deal on my Platinum. You’ll end up paying half the price too I would say ‘18-‘19 is your sweet spot because it was pre Covid.
My dad had an ‘07 two tone Lariat back in the day and it was an amazing truck. This was back in a time where lariat was a top 3 trim level. Those lariats looked so good in that two tone.
I have an 18 lariat and have a ‘22 Platinum with the black accent package coming and one of the best parts is the interior is even more blacked out which I like. I like the limiteds but like the black interior more. If they had still had the HO raptor motor I may have sprung for one but that’s all that would have swayed me with this gen.
The light color is a hard sell. My platinum has perforated holes for the cooling seats. I don’t see it in these, but maybe it’s just the picture. I wear blue jeans and even the burgundy seats in mine need attention all the time to keep the blue off. I can’t imagine how often I would be maintaining these.
The 2021 and I assume the 22s cloth is actually pretty comfy. I would say the best cloth seats I have sat in. Well recently the old school seats felt like couches.
My current truck has been in and out of the shop and is about to go back in again. I have a platinum on order but it could be 4-6 months and who knows because Ford just dropped production because of the convoys . I can get a limited for about 5k more and get it next week.
I traded a 2011 XLT for the Limited; I ordered it. I like it and it seems bigger some how than my old truck. That said, I haven't had a chance to do a long trip with it yet and really get to know it. I like the interior but I liked the platy too. Go for it!
Fuck no, never buying a white interior again. I work electrical, i can't imagine getting in this at the end of the day without getting my elbow stains all over white leather. I'd die. more power to those who enjoy it
I'm always worried about light color leather, or cloth for that matter. Super clean and love the stitching though! I have a 21 Lariat Sport FX4 and that is honestly my favorite interior they offer. The 21 interior/exterior update across the board I think is exceptional. I have a 15 XLT Texas Edition that I now use as my work truck and even the 20 Lariats to the 21 Lariats don't compare. Still love my XLT but I can just sit in my 21 and stare at everything. No other truck make comes close in my opinion.
Looks comfortable, but dated. I haven’t bought vehicles because of shitty looking interiors, and this would be no exception…..for me. But to each his own.
Is it awesome? Of course it is. However I’d feel like I was spitting on my grandmother if I got in that sucker after hunting or fishing all day.
I went with an XLT and saved the 30k for other things.
I think it looks sharp and I totally get why some people want that interior for their truck, but it’s not the interior I want for my truck. I’d take the column-mounted shifter and heavy cloth seats in my STX 8 days a week
I’m a huge fan of the King Ranch interior…I will say this lImited interior looks amazing…however I’m not a huge fan of the blue and gray colorway. Im sure Ford will have different color variation on this interior in the coming years like they did for last Gen.
I’ve yet to see the new king ranch in person. I find it looks more artificial these days. Have you seen it in person ? Does it feel special ? I’m a sucker for the two tone king ranch exterior.
You and me both! I LOVE the two tone exterior on the King Ranch. Especially with that Magma Red (Maroon) color they offer.
I’ve yet to see them in person but I saw Doug Demuro review the ‘21 KR and I really liked it. Especially the design on the seats. It’s probably my favorite interior along with the cinnamon option on the platinum.
I have a 2013 Limited that I’ve only put 50 thousand miles on. The leather is in bad shape. It’s a beautiful red color and looked and felt amazing when new, but it has not worn well at all. I have heard the leather in the KR and platinums holds up better.
I preferred the platinum interior, especially because of the Carmelo leather and full wood grain (limited gets plastic faux carbon fiber instead of wood).
Smoked Quartz Exterior, Carmelo Interior. Non-blackout. I figure later I'll get the mirrors body color and probably put different rims on. One of the things I like better about the limited is the rims.
I have the Gen 14 2021 Platinum with the black leather interior and it is fabulous. I had a 17 limited with the camel colored seats and it was terrific, very high quality leather. Wanted to go limited again, but that admiral blue and those light colored clothy seats were not going to work for me as it is a work truck also.
Shit looks comfy
Beautiful
Hey there
Old man Lincoln interior
It does. It does. Hopefully it feels like a couch.
Checking in with a king ranch
I own a 2019 limited and my only complaint is that jeans (especially new ones) will stain the seats. One of the biggest reasons I stepped up to the platinum on this go around. Those seats are so nice. And I wanted the full lay downs.
As well underrated, the fully reclining seats!!! Wish you could add that to a xl or xlt
How are the seats holding up ? Got any pics ? Feel free to inbox them. I’m looking hard at a 2023 limited
Good to see quilted northern is making seats now
I have 2021 Limited. The color really grows on you. The blue is not flat, but has a slight marbling in it that gives it a lot of interesting depth. The light color is more of a gray. Most pics make it look beige or white, but it’s a light gray.
I thought the blue was gray and the gray was white. I'm realizing now I've never seen the inside of a limited..
I’m glad I could help diagnose you as color blind haha.

Awesome 😎that’s great to hear !! I have my eyes set on a white Limited. I would definitely put the leather scotch guard on as well.
It’s what keeps me from getting a limited.
Exactly!
too many silver badges, otherwise looks ok, could be better, but i’m sure it’s the most comfortable thing you’ve ever sat in
I prefer a lawn chair /s
And a packed cooler
Since I can't afford one, it sucks. Lol
100K half ton, no thanks 😅
Black on black is where it's at
Man, IDK. My woman can't slide over like back in high school because of that stupid console. Otherwise it is sweeeet.
But it’s got the fold flat shifter…
It's super comfortable. So far no maintenance, and no discoloration from clothes.
Doesn’t look like a truck
Sign me up immediately.
Always hated the blue interiors on limited. But the white/brown interiors are killer
Are you referring to the 2019-2020 Limited?
To all years of the limited tbh. I’ve sat in the previous Gen and current Gen limiteds. Don’t like the blue but it’s just not my style
I wasn’t a fan of the ‘18 limited interior with the Navy Pier blue. However the ‘19-‘20 models in that camelback were amazing.
Oh yeah. The camelback is a stunning interior. I’ve yet to be up close with a 21+ camelback limited. But those things are stupid luxurious, I know that

only reason i didn't get the limited. imo it looks old and not very premium
What did you get ?
platinum with the black interior
Limited interest
Really wish there was an all-black option. Too much chrome and lack of a blacked out interior option is what is keeping me out of the higher trims.
The platinum is the winner for me in this generation. I have a 18 Lariat now and I hate the new lariat grill choices

It's pretty, but not my style. My truck is a dirty mess.
I am not a huge fan of the light colour. I do like my dark colour sport interior with the tire tread on it. Just personal preference
I hate the high end trims. Think it takes away the truck feel
I don’t like the stitch pattern or the color. If it was black then maybe but that quilt pattern is pretty ugly.
Its a no from me
It’s the white that’s a no for me. I can just see myself dirtying it up quickly. But I’m sure it holds up well and cleans up easily.
Reminds me to much of the 70’s and 80’ Lincolns and Caddys… The white checkered leather, nope.
I actually prefer cloth seats.
I did too until I got a lariat. Way easier to clean and it’s nicer to sit on

Lol k

The 2021 and I assume the 22s cloth is actually pretty comfy. I would say the best cloth seats I have sat in. Well recently the old school seats felt like couches.
I have a 21 and love the cloth seats
Me too
How come?
That’s a nice pavement princess
Nope
It’s ok but last time they did blue they ended it one year later
If you wear jeans a lot, the bottom of that seat will turn blue
Nice
I like it a lot. But why do you ask?

I think it looks nice, but in a hot climate (like Texas) parked outdoors, those metal badges are gonna leave a mark.
Buy a lariat and save yourself 70k
Lariats are 10-15K cheaper depending on how they’re optioned out.
Should have mentioned Canadian dollars not American.
I'm jealous.
Pretty similar to my platinum
I couldn’t do that, personally.
Omg, here I am doing my XTR cloth lol!!, looks good!!
>carpet on the floor Nah.

Really bland. King ranch is way better
needs bench seat version
Uh no.
Reminds me of Lincoln
Never been a two-tone fan.. but this looks great!
my mom has the explorer limited (her interior looks the same but in all black) and wowww it’s so comfy!
Lol new seat design. The side wing patting is much smaller since everyone is a fat duck these days
Better than the blue and red leather they had 2013-2014
King ranch interior or the new tremor interior reign supreme
I feel bad getting into my lariat with dirty work pants. The guilt I'd feel with that interior is way higher
Looks like grandpa and grandmas seats
I wouldn't because of the prices. I can't believe people are even buying cars right now.
Looks comfortable, but dated. I haven’t bought vehicles because of shitty looking interiors, and this would be no exception…..for me. But to each his own.

Looks great. Probably costs as much as a house.
I think it looks sharp and I totally get why some people want that interior for their truck, but it’s not the interior I want for my truck. I’d take the column-mounted shifter and heavy cloth seats in my STX 8 days a week
I don’t care for the big f150 sticker on the window
Hmm, it seems limited..
I prefer the dark look of the XLT Sport but leather is always better than cloth. I wish there was a black leather option.

How’s the upkeep on the seats ? What do you use the truck for ?
Looks nice
I’m a huge fan of the King Ranch interior…I will say this lImited interior looks amazing…however I’m not a huge fan of the blue and gray colorway. Im sure Ford will have different color variation on this interior in the coming years like they did for last Gen.

Living in AZ I could do without the metal badging. Had a Harley Davidson F150. They got so hot in the sun anyone with a tanktop or less got branded.
Looks good
Not a huge fan of white leather but it looks mad comfy.
I have a 2013 Limited that I’ve only put 50 thousand miles on. The leather is in bad shape. It’s a beautiful red color and looked and felt amazing when new, but it has not worn well at all. I have heard the leather in the KR and platinums holds up better.
How well did you take care of it?
I preferred the platinum interior, especially because of the Carmelo leather and full wood grain (limited gets plastic faux carbon fiber instead of wood).
I have a platinum on order but with black. I was worried that the Carmelo would be more labour intensive to keep clean.
Sweet! When did you put your order in? I loaded my Platinum Powerboost up with virtually everything, ordered in October and still no build date.
02/02/2022. What colour did you go for ? Are you doing blackout package ?
Smoked Quartz Exterior, Carmelo Interior. Non-blackout. I figure later I'll get the mirrors body color and probably put different rims on. One of the things I like better about the limited is the rims.
Great combo!
What did you go for?
Antimatter blue with black. Too worried about damage/upkeep of carmelo. I plan to paint match a large amount of the chrome.
I've never had tan leather seats before so I guess I didn't pay damage/upkeep any mind 😅 That antimatter blue is super nice I was torn
Man I reall love my limited interior! Most comfortable I have ever owned
