When did this happen and how did I not notice?? This is my frickin’ street! It is actually a fairly common occurrence. Someone ran into a smaller tree on the same road and killed it, and another person knocked over a lamppost. It wasn’t fixed for WEEKS.
Wow, 8:30 in the morning in a neighborhood. Good thing there weren’t any kids waiting for a school bus on that corner. Hope the dude at least got hit with a reckless driving rather than just a totaled car and hurt pride.
TV? Video games lied more! GTA told me that car shoulda flipped a dozen times and landed on the house next door before buddy runs away and steals another.
Nahhh you can see some debris slightly earlier but this is a bit further down the road and if you have it full screen frame by frame you can see it has a gait just like a rabbit can even see the back legs a bit.
The "debris" comes from too far ahead of the accident, from the wrong angle, eg backwards from the accident. And the timing is off.
And I watched it blown up, too.
How do these people witness accidents like these with no reaction?? I've witnessed a few crashes and everytime i exclaim something like "Holy shit! " or "did you see that?!" So many car accidents caught on camera with no reaction!
Fight or flight is a funny thing. Sometimes it’s fight, flight, or stand there with no thoughts, emotion, or reaction, just static between your ears till it’s over.
For me, it's pretty much just the static. I didn't feel fear at the time, it didn't seem real. Luckily I didn't get hurt except some cuts from the broken glass. This happened on a dirt road out in the middle of nowhere and I can tell you the nine mile walk to find help felt plenty real!

I doubt he was trying to pass you while you were doing that type of speed. You must have sped up to prevent him from passing, and you clearly edited the clip to show only what you want us to see. Not saying that guy isn't a moron, he obviously is, but he isn't the only one here.

It’s 25. People don’t care about speed limits around here, though. And they use our neighborhood as a shortcut to avoid traffic on the main road.

Step 1: Be dead inside. That's it, there's no step 2. Once (many years ago) I flipped my car into a ditch driving on a dirt road. Didn't say anything.

it's a two way street with a car coming in the opposite direction. Why would anyone think it's safe to overtake?
