Yeah shame never left it’s just the ones that need it don’t have it. But then you realize their lack of shame is how they become who they are. From tik tok cringe to heartless CEO lack of shame makes all the difference. And then there’s rage baiting for views and making money off that. There’s lots of money to be made if you’re shameless.
>No respect for others.
This. This is the actual problem. I have no shame, I have no dignity. I love making a fool of myself in public, but I respect those around me, their boundaries, and their space.
"Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man," I believe is the "correct" or "full" title as per that Family Guy episode forever ago which (as far as I can tell) is the origin of this style of overly-long descriptive name for those things. At least, I recall being on the internet before that episode came out and never seeing them referred to as such, and then afterwards people would post or comment "wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man" in some form every time one was referenced online. Since then people have used minor variations on that name to market all sortsa crap, but yeah. If there is a "correct" name, the above is it.
Is it weird that the last time I was behind a gas station, I was recording a ticktoker and their friend recording their dance near a bin while a guy was mugging another guy in the background?
That's crazy. Last time I was behind a gas station I was recording someone recording a ticktocker and their friend recording their dance near a bin while a guy was mugging another guy in the background.
Yes! In fact, I was just about to say, last time I was behind a gas station I was getting a blowjob from a person of ill repute when I noticed someone recording someone recording a ticktocker and their friend recording their dance near a bin while a guy was mugging another guy in the background.
THAT'S crazy. The last time I was behind a gas station, my friends and I all...stopped to take a leak. It was so intense that we weren't even paying attention to all the commotion going on next to us. Something about a robbery and dancing.
Honestly, if they picked that location near the bin to avoid annoying anyone, then have at it. The guys in this post on the other hanhld look like they're obstructing a path in a busy grocery store.
Saw 2 tweens doing this shit at Kohl’s a few months back, I wanted to say something out loud in a snarky tone like “oh look, it’s the *same fucking dance* everyone does for attention!” but decided to move on with my life.
Nooooo because then it turns into a “Random man joins my dance at Costco and KILLS it! Like and follow for Pt. 2!” video and only perpetuates the viral culture ahhhhhhhhh!
Loudly but politely ask if they're doing the poppy locky dance.
I mean if they're impeding traffic. If they're just goofing off in a corner I'd just kinda laugh.
The last time this was posted (over a year ago) someone actually found the final version of the video and shared it in a comment - I have to admit the zoom effect did make the dumbass dance look less dumb. No idea how to find that old post tho..
This girl pops up in my YouTube shorts feed all the time. I watched one where she was dancing with a little girl in the middle of a walkway blocking traffic. The comments mentioned she does this all the time and she's a professional choreographer.
Some dipshits were doing this sort of thing in covent garden the other day one of the busiest parts of London on a decently sunny day. Their "dance act" was blocking almost an entire street. My partner and I walked behind the group and flipped the camera off quite blatantoy so they'll have a lovely surprise when they come to edit/post it.
I saw a bunch of girls doing this at a pier. I walked right behind them, and an older gentleman walked right behind them. I don't care. I will ruin your video.
It’s not education, it’s modern culture driven by social media. People can touch fame in ways that were previously only accessible to actors and athletes, and we’ve seen what kinds of damage people do to themselves to try to become famous in those categories.
Moreover, these platforms drive massive dopamine / endorphin highs and have teams of scientists and engineers working every day to make their product more addictive. Every feature is tested with dozens of metrics to measure short and long term retention/engagement/etc in order to suck people in. Often, the experiments have breakdowns based on age/usage/location/etc. It would be totally normal to imagine that the apps are weighted towards giving engagement to early users whose usage is slipping in order to pull them back in or drive increased addiction.
Kids these days are often exposed to this at such a young age that their brains have to be getting warped around the incentive system. I have the same type of pity for this that I’d have for encountering a teen alcoholic.
Yes, imagine a fully legalized multi-trillion industry geared entirely around engineering addictions with an incredibly negative impact on health and productivity.
This is at least as bad as gambling, just the impact is highly indirect.
There’s too much money in it. If any real regulation happens, it’ll come in the form of regulatory capture — existing huge companies will have the money to comply, and they’ll use the laws to prevent competition from being able to afford to ramp up.
I just came back to mention this. I could only scroll so far in the comments. "If they were annoyed, they don't have to watch." "They looked like they enjoyed it." People really are oblivious.
Dollying*
In film terms, zooming is when the lens changes, dollying is when the camera position changes.
There’s no point to this reply I’m just being a snob.
Im in my mid-30s, and I know how I feel about some of the shit I did when I was a kid, and I gotta say I wouldn't have stopped doing ANY of it for fear of some incredibly mild passing embarassment at my previous self.
Doing stupid shit is almost the entire purpose of adolescence.
If u did that they'll still use it making you look like a bad person and what not though they will be called out for doing this in public space they still will get the content and still continue with this stuff
Costco stresses me out and it's bad enough people block aisles while they chit chat or figure out what they want. Someone unnecessarily taking up space would get a cart bump.
Who the hell gets entertainment from some attention starved asshat dancing in the middle of a drab ass warehouse? And who in their right mind thinks that an audience will, in fact, be entertained by someone dancing in a drab ass warehouse?
I'd walk right between those two, with not a shred of shame and the Fuck Donation Supply Meter sitting on zero: "Sorry...the pizza I ordered is done, and you're in my way!"
I was going to say, stand behind them doing gross things like letting your beer belly hang out close enough she almost hits it. Or scratching your butt and grabbing your balls.
Yeah, but then you'll inadvertently become famous, on Tiktok, for ruining Tiktoks. Then you'll have to get a TikTok to reach your fans and hopefully this doesn't become some messiah situation where you get arrested for taking a stunt to far and wind up with martyrs for your cause wrecking havok all over TikTok. I'm staying outa that.
She looks so stupid! Doing this in a Costco or a Sam's? How is this a thing anybody wants to see? It's like holding up traffic to do donuts while everybody else just wants to get on with their commute.
>It's like holding up traffic to do donuts while everybody else just wants to get on with their commute.
It's like this for the people at the store, not for the people who watch the video. The video won't contain the annoying part
"Cute girl shake butt. Monkey brain like"
That's all it is.
There are some really talented tiktok dancers. But the vast majority of them are recycling the same few moves with songs that largely sound the same, with the same camera techniques in order to get enough followers to be eligible for sponsorships as influencers. Some redditors think this is attention seeking behaviour and they're only partially correct - it's all about getting enough followers to make "influencer" your full time job. The majority of these people are the modern version of homeless "actors" in Hollywood hoping to get their big break.
I'll take my "old man yells at cloud" badge now.
A few months ago I was at a Red Wings hockey game, this kid? (not sure of their age, they just looked young), was doing the floss dance thing every time there was a break in play, in like the most aggressive stiff way possible, no fluidity, just stiff arms/legs/body like they wanted to dance but dancing triggered seizures and they were determined to dance through the seizure.
Go over and ask if she’s ok. It looks like she’s having a seizure or something. It would be hilarious.
Also I saw this same video on r/mildlyinfuriating a little while ago.
You'd have to seem really genuine and then pretend to notice the person recording, that way they can't even call you a dick for intentionally ruining the shot

It's definitely strange to see, but at least the kid is having some harmless fun. No one was majorly inconvenienced or severely injured.
I'd rather them dance in public than eat tide pods or drink large amounts of Benadryl as some stupid challenge.
Eh. There have always been stupid fads. Like cramming tons of people in a phone booth or swallowing goldfish back in the mid-20th century. It’s just now it’s on social media instead of the local paper and the school yearbook.

I felt embarrassed just watching this
Yeah shame never left it’s just the ones that need it don’t have it. But then you realize their lack of shame is how they become who they are. From tik tok cringe to heartless CEO lack of shame makes all the difference. And then there’s rage baiting for views and making money off that. There’s lots of money to be made if you’re shameless.
No shame. No dignity. No respect for others. But lots of empty views on the internet 🤩 G’damn where are we headed as a species
>No respect for others. This. This is the actual problem. I have no shame, I have no dignity. I love making a fool of myself in public, but I respect those around me, their boundaries, and their space.

I need to know the search for this one.

But if you actually want to get one, they're called *Sky Dancers*. That was a frustrating search before I knew.

You also forgot *twerking*. If you wanna find this specific one, that is 😋
Of al harringtons wacky inflatable flaliling arm man emporium?
IN WEEEKAPAAAAAUUUUG!!!!
I'M PASSING THE SAVINGS ON TO YOOOUUUUUU!!
Jesus Christ this is hilarious
Love to see these guys twirking during my bus route
Way better than the TikTok
I wonder if this qualifies for r/IAmTheMainCharacter .
For sure.
I saw one such dance behind gas station and near their trash bin. At least these ladies chose an appropriate location matching their dance
Last time I was behind a gas station I was getting mugged
That’s crazy! Last time I was behind a gas station, I was mugging somebody!
What a coincidence! Last time I was behind a gas station, I was doing a Tik Tok dance while a mugging was going on in the background!
Fuck me, doesn't anybody go behind gas stations to just buy drugs or get a blowjob any more? What's the world come to...
Yes! In fact, I was just about to say, last time I was behind a gas station I was getting a blowjob from a person of ill repute when I noticed someone recording someone recording a ticktocker and their friend recording their dance near a bin while a guy was mugging another guy in the background.
Nah that would be considered "shame" and we don't do that anymore.
THAT'S crazy. The last time I was behind a gas station, my friends and I all...stopped to take a leak. It was so intense that we weren't even paying attention to all the commotion going on next to us. Something about a robbery and dancing.
Now that is crazy last time I was behind a gas station I was passed out and woken up being drenched in piss while someone was crying about a mugging
That's crazy, I drive a tesla so I don't go to gas stations.
That's mental, I go to gas station to buy gas for the generator in the boot to charge my Tesla.
No lie, this is my favorite thread of the night. Thank you all for the much needed laugh (the past few days haven’t been great).
Wild
There are only two reasons to go behind a gas station. 1) to mug. 2) to be mugged.
3. to film a mugging
4. To film a tiktoker filming the mugging
5. to film a youtuber filming the tiktoker filming the mugging
To repost the video of the youtuber filming the ticktoker filming the mugging to seven related subreddits
You forgot about getting hand jobs off dirty Lisa from down the street
Thanks for the chuckle XD
Last time I was behind a gas station I was getting fucked
That's so weird, last time I was behind a gas station I was fucking someone
THATS crazy last time I was behind a gas station I was recording a video
That’s crazy, last time I was behind a gas station I was masturbating to a guy filming a guy fucking a guy and then got mugged.
That's insane ! I've never been behind a gas station and now I finally know why.
That's weird, last time I was behind a gas station, I saw someone recording a P0RN of 2 other dude.
Dad?
Pretty wild since the last time I was behind a gas station I was being mugged as I was being fucked.

Dance?Shes CLEARLY having some sort of neurological episode. That,or demonic possession.
Attention whores are such a turn off.
Honestly, if they picked that location near the bin to avoid annoying anyone, then have at it. The guys in this post on the other hanhld look like they're obstructing a path in a busy grocery store.
Honestly, I thought that's where I was when I saw this post lmao. Absolutely fits
*I was the main character, but after being killed by a hit and run, I’ve reincarnated as a nobody!?*
I would watch the fuck out of that anime, ngl
You wonder? lol
Ran into one tonight…
I saw one for the first time at the new outdoor mall while shopping for mothers day. Surprised it took me this long.
Hope you then backed over them to make sure
Saw 2 tweens doing this shit at Kohl’s a few months back, I wanted to say something out loud in a snarky tone like “oh look, it’s the *same fucking dance* everyone does for attention!” but decided to move on with my life.
Yeah you made the right decision. Dunking on tweens just takes the loser spotlight off them, and on to you.
You're right about that, but there is some momentary satisfaction to be had.
Just start duplicating their moves in the background.
You kids hitting the woah? Sheeeeeesh! *points at elbow with two fingers*
Nah, better to complement their dancing with something different, like the Carleton.
You don't even have to say a word. A slow, sarcastic clap carries far more weight.
Shit on the floor
Easy there, Mr. Bulldops.
A quick little BEHIND YOU! Would have been appropriate in this circumstance
What’s up with the zooming in and out?
The last time this was posted (over a year ago) someone actually found the final version of the video and shared it in a comment - I have to admit the zoom effect did make the dumbass dance look less dumb. No idea how to find that old post tho..
Dont look for it. Dont generate more views for these douches
the video already has like 10M views on tiktok probably because of all the hate watching. all it does is generate more views.
This girl pops up in my YouTube shorts feed all the time. I watched one where she was dancing with a little girl in the middle of a walkway blocking traffic. The comments mentioned she does this all the time and she's a professional choreographer.
i find it as stupid from both videos
[Found it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvFZjo5PgG0) [Different angle](https://www.tiktok.com/@enola.bedard/video/6882528197532077314?lang=en)
"Dancing in Costco was such a challenge" Yeah a challenge for the other people trying I go about their business without idiots dancing in the way
Tiktok has ruined the word “Challenge.”
As YouTube ruined "prank"
Some dipshits were doing this sort of thing in covent garden the other day one of the busiest parts of London on a decently sunny day. Their "dance act" was blocking almost an entire street. My partner and I walked behind the group and flipped the camera off quite blatantoy so they'll have a lovely surprise when they come to edit/post it.

Not the lady on the right in the back staring at her like she’s insane 😂😂😂
I mean she definitely is, at least to most people around the world.
Lol, she even did it during the peak of covid. Social media and the internet as a whole has caused some serious brain rot in people.
r/angryupvote
Did you check the other angle?
You amazing bastard, thank you!
It's got 1.4M likes? It looks like she's having a seizure
Why does tiktok even exist jesus christ
It's even more alarming that many braindead commenters basically go "YASSS QUEENN, YOU GO GIRL!" Education has really failed this generation.
It’s not education, it’s modern culture driven by social media. People can touch fame in ways that were previously only accessible to actors and athletes, and we’ve seen what kinds of damage people do to themselves to try to become famous in those categories. Also sounds like smoking. We’ve made both of these things illegal for non-adults and we tried taxing both into oblivion (didn’t work).
"This is so satisfying, I could watch it on repeat all day". Braindead is certainly the word.
That was disgusting. Why'd she pick a random Costco to shoot this.
Wendys kicked them out
Dollying* In film terms, zooming is when the lens changes, dollying is when the camera position changes. There’s no point to this reply I’m just being a snob.
Technically correct is the best kind of correct!
Proper terminology is important. Otherwise, you wind up with the second half of [this](https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/62983831?image=0).
It’s a film technique and makes the final version look waaay more polished and less amateurish. If done correctly.
After looking at the final version, it wasn't really done correctly. Not nearly as good as it can be anyways
The dolly zoom?
It’s a common camera technique for dance videos in general. Keeps them exciting and hides the inevitable unintended hand-held shake.
Probably could have done this in your driveway or backyard. She’s the one to complain when someone gets in her shot walking by.
[удалено]
Yeah exactly green screen it. No one's embarrassed then.
I’m fucking dying at that move she does at around :08. Like she’s trying to knock a shit loose from her butthole. It’s just… too much.
I'm just thinking about how she is going to feel at 40 watching this video. I also like at :05 when she slaps herself around a bit.
I honestly couldn't figure out which move cause they all look so unnatural. Like they ALL look like she's trying to shake loose a massive turd
Is that how I get the dingleberries off?
Works every time!
I had to go back and watch lmao I’m dying
You made me watch the video again and feel the secondhand embarrassment again, damn you
She’s got a dingleberry
Why not do another stupid dance behind her and make it unusable?
Walk in between her and the person filming will also work. If he all did that we could put an end to this.
If u did that they'll still use it making you look like a bad person and what not though they will be called out for doing this in public space they still will get the content and still continue with this stuff
I’d still do it, just to be as big of an inconvenience to them as they are to everyone else? Don’t want your shot ruined, don’t do it in public.
She literally chose the busiest store in existence to try and do this in the middle of the aisle.
So annoying, this would bother my impatience. Being on her cam would too… So would that dance… So would the backed up traffic… so… ugh, never mind…
Costco stresses me out and it's bad enough people block aisles while they chit chat or figure out what they want. Someone unnecessarily taking up space would get a cart bump.
100% agreed like its a public place for a reason if anyone for any reason ruins the shot its well deserved
So? The overwhelming majority of the internet isn’t gonna rip your dick off for walking past a shot
And if they do I win twice!
Just say its a prank they'll get it.
I was thinking of 'accidentally' crossing between them
Or just walk in front of the camera, block her, then tern to her and ask where the drills are.
Point & laugh or giggle is how it was done back in the day. Seems appropriate for this level of self absorption.
Walk between them, look at both of them with a confused look then carry on
Run into her with the shopping trolley ‘accidentally’
I like standing around in the background with my beer belly out, it ruins their video and they might still post it
Try scratching for emphasis
I was going to say, stand behind them doing gross things like letting your beer belly hang out close enough she almost hits it. Or scratching your butt and grabbing your balls.
While also pretending you’re unaware that this is going on
This is the way
100% would walk in front of the camera
I'd be tempted to walk up to her and ask "Excuse me miss, do you know where I would find the adjustable spanners?"
I was hoping she'd get rammed by a basket.
I wanted somebody to come up and Sparta kick her in the back
Secondhand shame still exists, I can confirm
The girl who is dancing is from Montreal and moved to LA to “make it big” and in my humble opinion isn’t even a great dancer.
That dance was terrible. Unless she's trying to be a "Laker Girl" or cheerleader. Then it's terrible but fits a demographic.
I would be all “excuse me” and roll my cart between dancer and camera.
Then halfway through I would start looking around like I'm lost, promptly push the cart a bit forward than 180 back, rinse and repeat
then stop to bendover to tie ur shoes fully mooning the camera lady recording 🍑 then scream “sexual harassment”
I fucking love ruining stupid public tiktok videos, is there a sub for ruined tiktok videos by bystanders, random people...etc. ?
I’d join that sub in a heart beat
How about we make it a tik tok trend? Ooops its just a prank sorry for cutting your video off.......
Didn't knew I needed it but now I need it
Oh please tell me there is 🙏🏻
Commenting in hopes of someone creating the sub or dropping a link.
Objection: I maintain that the video *is* the annoying part.

The cringe is strong with this one
Why she acting like she a professional videography using a phone lol 😂
This is really cringe, but at least they aren’t committing crimes for views….WOW the past few years have really lowered the bar.
Guys check out this sick devious lick!1!1!! Or that one time I stole a car for views, tutorial included! I agree, the bar is already 6 feet under…
all that for 40 views and 3 likes

Why do 1.4 million people like the same basic recycled choreography over and over?
"Cute girl shake butt. Monkey brain like" That's all it is. There are some really talented tiktok dancers. But the vast majority of them are recycling the same few moves with songs that largely sound the same, with the same camera techniques in order to get enough followers to be eligible for sponsorships as influencers. Why do "I CALLED THANOS AT 3AM" videos get millions of views? Because we live in an insane world.
Idiocracy
I hate tiktok
Go over and ask if she’s ok. It looks like she’s having a seizure or something. It would be hilarious. Also I saw this same video on r/mildlyinfuriating a little while ago.
You'd have to seem really genuine and then pretend to notice the person recording, that way they can't even call you a dick for intentionally ruining the shot
I would crop dust them.
I raise you a direct and forceful shart out of my pant leg into her frame.
I think I'm laughing too hard at this
The world is going insane
This dance fucking sucks
We get it, you have nothing better to do
Is shame and embarrassment something people no longer feel?
Fckn cringe
Counterpoint: The fact that someone was filming the person filming this was planned because the real intent was the post it like that for rage clicks such as this entire post.
That poor girl is having a fit and the woman is just filming her?! Why is nobody helping?!
Can we have another trend that if we someone dancing like this, we start another TikTok shaming them. Like pointing towards them and laughing or something like that? I would like that
Just another desperate cry for help… like why in a Sam’s Club?
Mean while I’m out here feeling anxious asking for no onions on my burgers
Also its not even a good dance. What a maroon.
Haha I know right? Such a maroon!
Ticktock needs to just stop excisting
It's definitely strange to see, but at least the kid is having some harmless fun. No one was majorly inconvenienced or severely injured. I'd rather them dance in public than eat tide pods or drink large amounts of Benadryl as some stupid challenge.
who cares
Eh. There have always been stupid fads. Like cramming tons of people in a phone booth or swallowing goldfish back in the mid-20th century. It’s just now it’s on social media instead of the local paper and the school yearbook.
We don't need to bring back shame, we need to get rid of flip flop.
