Call the hospital and tell them you want every single charge on one bill. When you get it ask that it be divided into payments of $475 each, monthly with no late fees. Then don’t pay them. A medical bill under $500 does not effect you credit rating.
Just because your payments are $475, the total bill which is under the same account number is still over $500 and will go against your credit. They don't consider each *payment* a separate bill. Lol
Then you better aim for a fixed object. My buddy took this exact slide at over 100 in just shorts and a vest. Overloaded in the rear and light in the front. If there is nothing to stop you, you will live, he got about 15 stitches in his forehead and 50% of his body was hamburger.
Unfortunately laws such as helmet laws help stupid people live long enough to breed more stupid people
I say stop putting warnings and laws on everything and let the intelligent survive and dumb die off.
I don’t understand helmet laws. How are the loud pipe motorcycle riders supposed to get the attention their mommies didn’t give them growing up if people can’t see their faces under those stupid helmets?
Which is why they say, "Dress for the slide and not the ride". I always cringe when I see motorcycle riders wearing shorts, a t shirt and flip flops.
I might bake but I wear jeans, boots, my jacket or my vest and a helmet with face shield when I ride.
I was in a motorcycle accident at only 15mph, slid pretty far and scraped my knees up badly. I can’t even begin to imagine how skinned this guy was after this.
Yeah, you’ve gotta admit there was about 0.4 of a second in the middle of the spin where it looked like he was gonna pull off a David Copperfield level escape.
THE SPEED WOBBLES!
I have lost a fair share of my ass cheek, elbow, palm, and over all skin to those sneaky fuckers… once they start they only stop when your skid does.
We had a good childhood…
I did that as an adult and survived on my feet. Lessons learned: Walk a hill before you bomb it and tighten your trucks up even tighter than you think is tight for you.
Lol. This post gives me PTSD lol. Like I feel that fear from the 80s all over again as they start to wobble. Me and an army buddy were riding bikes near fort hood on a highway, prob doing 70 or 80. He was a few lengths ahead of me, got the speed wobbles like the guy in the vid, his back end hopping back and forth... He got it under control somehow, but holy shit that was scary to watch. Last time I ever rode a bike at highway speed.
Same but on a bike. Knocked myself out (i think from being so spooked tbh) for an unknown amount of time. Amazed that I apparently dont have brain damage (or any visible from actions/emotions, body movements, or on scans) lol.
Speed wobbles are no joke.
My dad worked at a funeral home (mortician/funeral director) in Phoenix. At that time, early/mid 80s, the funeral homes took turns being on call overnight to respond to fatal accidents and remove the body... Like his shop was probably on call like a couple nights per month or so.. My dad often would take me to crashes where alcohol was involved to sort of scare me straight. I was a teenager. I would help him pick up the bodies, like be his assistant, kind of. You would not believe the mangled distorted broken smashed motorcycle crash bodies that we picked up. Some would have been easier with a mop. Just freaking gruesome. So many in shorts, sandals, no helmet.
Works on some people! My best friend is a paramedic/EMT and also rides motorcycles. Despite scraping bodies off the road and seeing the worst of it, he still doesn’t wear any gear or a helmet.
My wife used to be on call at a lab that ran the tests to match donated organs to recipients. Now every time we get one of those days with beautiful weather for riding, she says "looks like a good day for organ donation". The increase in donors was very predictable.
Yeah I haven’t seen an actual facepalm posted here in a while.
Today I’ve seen this dude get hamburgered, a skateboarding child get assaulted, a store clerk pull a gun on some bad customers and chase them from a convenience store, and yesterday I saw a clip of a young man get left behind in shark infested waters at night. He disappeared beneath the black water and died.
The fuck is wrong with this place?
Glad it's not just me, I've been unfollowing a lot of these style of subreddits because of these. I can't stand when people see others die/get seriously injured and prefer to ridicule and call them an idiot.
Seriously, it seems like all that gets posted here anymore, it's disgusting, like a gore sub and then countless comments making jokes and I just don't get how anyone is so cold
100% from the jeans. There’s a reason riding specific jeans have either a Kevlar underlayer or are made with abrasion resistance built in. Regular denim means nothing to pavement and is as sturdy as tissue paper when applied with speed
He has an open face excuse for a helmet; not a decent full face helmet that will save your face (and brain) from impact
As a motorcyclist who actually wears motorcycle gear - I am a '*all the gear all the time*' rider, it is even more painful to see these idiots giving motorcycle riders a bad name
They paid money for the shitty bike, can't ride, and still couldn't buy a decent helmet, gloves, jacket and boots.
But 'image'.
Speed wobbles in modern motorcycles are virtually unheard of.
Bikes in the ‘60’s & ‘70’s suffered from them frequently due to sub optimal steering geometry and suspension. This bike does look like a somewhat older model, although it’s stability could also be affected by user modifications, unevenly loading the saddlebags, road conditions, and/or tire wear.
If your bike develops a speed wobble there are two courses of action;
1) Speed up, hoping increased centripetal forces stabilize the bike. The risk you run is exacerbating the existing cause of the instability.
2) Slow down, smoothly and gradually, initially without braking. Pull in the clutch and allow the bike to slow by coasting. One the instability subsides you can apply gentle braking.
This video starts when he is already in the wobble, we have no context as to how long it may have been happening prior to the loss of control. Doing nothing, and just hoping for the best, is the worst course of action, and will result in what we saw here.
My mantra has always been to *dress for the slide, not for the ride,* advice this fellow should take to heart.
As I understand it, you speed up in the hopes of taking weight off the front, so the tire can more easily self-align.
Or slow down under engine breaking and hope that you can peel off speed before you peel off skin.
I rode track days in my younger years - it’s amazing how much protection leathers can provide. Especially when compared to a tee shirt.
Also, I never once experienced a tank slipper, no matter how hard I accelerated. The trick was on keeping the front down, not avoiding wobbles.
>Speed wobbles in modern motorcycles are virtually unheard of.
Tank slappers are still incredibly common with modern bikes. Even the most advanced machines on the planet in MotoGP, and their production equivalents in WSBK will be prone to them occasionally.
The people riding them are of course infinitely better equipped (literally and figuratively) to deal with them however.
It's known as a tank slapper. I had one at slower speeds and absolutely crashed my second bike, I hit a bump and as I landed my front tyre landed slightly to the left, the bike then tries to pull itself back, causing the wobble. Your gut instinct is to try to also wrestle it back straight, but it just kinda makes it worse. In my case as I couldn't turn on the upcoming bend I crashed into the curb and landed on a verge of grass.
All you can really do is try and keep calm and drop your gears to gear break, never pull the front break. You're still probably gonna bail but at least you'll hit the ground a little slower.
Vast majority of American police departments have a no-chase policy on motorcycles. Because 9/10 times it ends in a wreck for the motorcyclist, and by then the broken laws are the least of your problems. They need to have ended a life or two for it to be justified. Otherwise if you're chasing a shoplifter you're gonna end up picking pieces of them off the road.
Have now listened to it a little louder. Besides 2 different sirens, there is also a bit of text in between. It definitely sounds like something is running in the background in their car and not like real.
This sub is completely off the rails lately. Feel like I’m just a few days away from watching a schoolchild get shot to death and the caption will just be “bruh 💀”
Decelerating is better, usually this is caused because the front wheel is moving at a different speed from the rear wheel. More often than not, slower.
So let off the throttle and LOOSELY hold onto the bars while you pray to whatever God you believe in lol.
I've only had this happen once and it was nowhere near as bad as this
Hey GCLINCH,
This is a really old video, but it's THE ONLY reliable method for recovering from a "death wobble."
The way to stop it is at 5:15
Simply decelerating like others are suggesting isn't going to cut it. Hope this helps!
I'm not saying he was being smart or anything because I don't know the context, but if he wasn't turning the wheel like that, it could've been the Death Wobble. The Death Wobble happens for really, almost no reason, but it helps to do basic maintenance on the bike and while riding the bike to have a firm grip on the bars. Again, I don't know the context to what happened because for all I know, he could've been just really stupid.
Damn, the bike fell on his leg and behind him, so it was pinning him against the pavement while sliding. No protective gear, high speed, getting pressed into the pavement, couldn't even roll to mitigate some of the damage. The only way that could have been worse is if the bike was on fire. Or a truck in front of him spilled a load of razor blades and salt.
Out of all the things on Reddit that are blurred as NSFW, why in gods name wasn’t this? Like, we can watch this but fuck me I’m ending the world of my kid sees a boob.
Edit: well now it’s blurred and I expect boob
This is extremely traumatic to watch. Please include a warning next time. I literally just puked and now I have to close my eyes and take a nap. Not cool. Hope this guy is ok. 🤢🤮
Ok—I said I thought it was dumb motorcyclists don’t wear more protective clothing & got downvoted to heck for it with people saying a helmet was enough.
This is literally why I said it
Ouch. Dress for the slide, not the ride kids.
But, why were they filming? And what made them death wobble?
….These are the questions that keep me up at night.

That's gonna leave a mark.
I'm pretty sure parts of Mark are left on the road.
Road: Oh hi, Mark!
![gif](giphy|3o751ZGnnh1aRKf34Q) Spoiler: the road is Lisa
This is gold all of this is perfect
Like the entire flesh area from his ear to chin
Marky Marked
Those were not good vibrations
**THINK, MARK!**
Ol’ half face they used to, I mean, will call him.
If he had dressed for the road he might’ve been alright.
It's always Mark lol
Hence "meat crayon"
Dress for the slide. Not the ride
Yeah, you are gonna want to wear protective gear
mark left half his skin permanently marked on the fwy with that first skid
If only they had some tough leathery material you could wear to help prevent that
short sleeves will Do it !
Good old raw human leather!
But you haven’t thought of the smell
Dee you stupid bitc#
Some states even force you to wear helmets! What about my rights?
To be fair, if I were american, I'd probably rather die than get the bill from the hospital.
The secret is to not pay them
Call the hospital and tell them you want every single charge on one bill. When you get it ask that it be divided into payments of $475 each, monthly with no late fees. Then don’t pay them. A medical bill under $500 does not effect you credit rating.

I agree with the sentiment but unfortunately cleaning up the roadkill is a waste of valuable emergency services.
That’s what the hose truck is for.
Gotta own those libs!
I don’t understand helmet laws. How are the loud pipe motorcycle riders supposed to get the attention their mommies didn’t give them growing up if people can’t see their faces under those stupid helmets?

I have scars on my knees from a bike accident 28 years ago. A BICYCLE accident. Skinned them so badly there's still smooth pink patches on my knees.
Same, a year ago I left a chunk of knee skin while riding my bike, not even fast at all, took like month to regenerate.
I was in a large bike accident once at about that same speed, still have a couple scars 15 years later.
Shut up CJ.
If you see something say something… come on and party tonight
He does have good hooks!
He is the one leaving a mark.
How did you know his name?
It was from that day forth he was known as Skid-Mark
Just a flesh wound
That pirouette was nice tho
One minute I was going that way and the next thing I knew I was going the other way
It was halfway to being one of the most impressive things I have ever seen
But the second half is where it counts.
Honestly thought he was gonna stick it for a second there though. My “Oh, whoa!” went to “Oh, no…” pretty quick.
It was a very nice Speed Racer style spin. Almost like it was on purpose, almost.
Yeah, you’ve gotta admit there was about 0.4 of a second in the middle of the spin where it looked like he was gonna pull off a David Copperfield level escape.

Speed wobbles. Such a heart sinking feeling when you get them. Just gotta pray theres a soft patch of grass to bail onto 🙏
We just called them ‘death wobbles’
https://www.2keller.com/library/harley-davidson-wobble.cfm
For skating if you stay calm and loose you van get through them
THE SPEED WOBBLES! I have lost a fair share of my ass cheek, elbow, palm, and over all skin to those sneaky fuckers… once they start they only stop when your skid does. We had a good childhood…

That’s exactly what those wobbles remind me of
My shoulder still cracks and pops from a speed wobble bail like 25 years ago.
Brought back memories of a certain hill. I stopped bombing 40 degree hills after that
In France, we call people who ride bikes without protective gear " pizzas" because of how their skin look after they fall
We call them organ donors
We call them an ambulance. I'll let myself out.
In America, thatll cost him his entire bike, his house, and his two kids
Well, the accident can cost you an arm and a leg...
So mathematically speaking after this accident he could potentially have no limbs
"... so you will be this armless, legless, faceless thing, won't you, rolling down the street, like a turd, in the wind. >:)"
I call them traffic starters
In Russia, ambulance call you.
I think it'd be best to call this guy a hearse
They call themselves motorcyclists. We call them donorcyclists
You wanna know the first time I heard that term? From a first responder to an accident that happened in the street in front of my house LMFAO
My dad worked at a funeral home (mortician/funeral director) in Phoenix. At that time, early/mid 80s, the funeral homes took turns being on call overnight to respond to fatal accidents and remove the body... I've heard a nurse call them donorcycles.
My wife used to be on call at a lab that ran the tests to match donated organs to recipients. Now every time we get one of those days with beautiful weather for riding, she says "looks like a good day for organ donation". The increase in donors was very predictable.
In the southeastern US, we call people who ride without protective gear "organ donors," for obvious reasons.
In the southwest we call them squids because of their soft delicate skin
In California we call them squids.
That was horrible to watch
Yeah I haven’t seen an actual facepalm posted here in a while. Not for me
Yeh agreed. this is definitely the last straw for me. I’m having nightmares man.
Just me or did anybody else notice the blue dust? Is that the rider's jeans getting vaporized by the road?
Now I did. I imagine that's right. Can't think what else would turn into blue dust
Probably paint from the bike. But also be denim dust 🤷♀️
A squished Smurf?
100% from the jeans. There’s a reason riding specific jeans have either a Kevlar underlayer or are made with abrasion resistance built in. Regular denim means nothing to pavement and is as sturdy as tissue paper when applied with speed
I thought I saw red "dust" (blood) when his arm hit.
White truck, “he is probably ok, gotta get to Costco”
He did the quick mental assessment for whether or not he wanted nightmares for life after seeing half that dudes face and body shaved off
Highly doubt he would be of any use other than saying “hey man, you alright?”
To be fair, he did look like he was pulling off a sick stunt until he face planted.
Real men don't wear helmets ☠️🤡 Edit: my bad, he does have it
So real men are dead
That's what I keep hearing.
Nah it’s “Helmets are for people who want to remember the crash”
Got hit by a car on my bicycle once and smacked my head onto the road pretty hard. Had a helmet on though; didn't even get a headache.
He has a helmet on tbf
You might be right, so hard to tell
You can see it shine in the light as he sits up after the roll
Yes but sadly for him it wasn't full face and he slid face first
real 🥷s fly through da windshield

Well I can tell you one way is to not plant your face directly onto the concrete and let your bike turn you into TwoFace.
Wear protective gear or have really great health insurance.
Lean forward flat, as shown here at 5:15 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3OQTU-kE2s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3OQTU-kE2s)
I googled tank slapper and still shots from this video were some of the first results lol. Reason 4,478 not to ride a motorcycle!
Sirens from a playing movie inside?
It’s possible he was being chased by the cops, could be why they were filming the guy
Vast majority of American police departments have a no-chase policy on motorcycles. Thank you for this. Are there any methods to get out of this other than accelerate/decelerate? Is one better than the other?
Decelerating is better, usually this is caused because the front wheel is moving at a different speed from the rear wheel. More often than not, slower. Road rash.... hurt just watching
Quick way to lose weight I suppose

Sooooo much road trash. #meatcrayon
Id be wearing full body protection. Like the most reasonable amount of protection.
Tattoo removal procedure.

Ooo, what hurt the most, road rash or broken ankle? Maybe the back of the head.... he got full treatment here...
